Hi ladies..

My dd loves Breaking Bad..Anyone here a fan along with Buffy?

Well, got to hop in the shower and get my coffee, then head to town..LOL..People
will be waiting outside the building for hours waiting for "good tickets" this first day.
We have a Queen Neelah competition with a Talent Night and a Coronation Night and moms want to get the best seats..

The pumpkin pie cake was a big hit last night..Luckily, there are 3 pieces left..

Have a great Saturday everyone.

Even though I have at least another week in rotation with SS and mother in hospital, do I have the recipe you are talking about Carolyn?

My mom had 3 very very very quiet, sleepy days. She did all the activity they asked, but only slept in-between. Nothing has interested her and I completely understand. But she has been healing.... Plus - it's pretty boring in hospital. Nothing much changes and she does NOT want visitors until she's better.

Today she is stronger, her body is working, and she has been changed to transitional foods, so maybe she'll feel more like eating. Though the docs said it was fine if not.
She is going to have a great day today.

to all of you.

No Debby, I have not been doing the IF. I might go back to that this week. I always feel like I need to eat protein after a hard workout but I really probably don't. I know I need to do SOMETHING though. I am really enjoying the gym though and I know eventually my body will respond and drop this extra weight.
I sure would like to have a hydrostatic body fat test!

Judy, so glad your mom is healing and she's so smart to keep the visitors away until she feels better. They can really wear a person out!

Carolyn, is that a LC cake? Sounds good!

I'm a BBad fan. A friend loaned us the first season right after it was over and then we were hooked. It's a very dark, gritty series but quite good to watch. Different from all the law and medical shows and reality shows that TV is so full of.

I loved The Butler. It has some great acting and was a good story. It's not really a true story, only inspired by a true story that was really quite different from this movie. Lee Daniels changed a LOT of stuff from the real butler. I wonder how that man feels about that?

Hi!

Today I washed the dog, returned 4 overdue library books, walked 6 miles with the dog, fell down and skinned my knee, took a nap, walked the dog again ~ but managed to stay upright ~, ate and most importantly haven't talked to a single person all day!

Hi to everyone.

How are our patients doing?

Had Bobby and Ava for a sleepover Friday night and all day Saturday, wow, was I tired last night.

I thought The Butler was good. DD and spouse went to Rush Friday night and said it was great.

Busy week ahead

Hi!
DH is back, dog has been walked a couple of times, I sorted through all the t-shirts I have for DD29's blanket. She's coming over tomorrow night so we can pick.
I also have a pile of clothes to go to Goodwill - I just need to write them down for the deductions.

It is really nice - I probably said a few words to the dog, but you get a break from engaging! Very relaxing!

Hi

Anyone have an October name????

Glad your mom is doing better, Judy.

Hugs all around. Drs weigh in on Tuesday so will be perfect tomorrow. It might help a tad but not hoping for a loss. Lol.

Hi gals Hope y'all had a good Sunday!
Mine was a lot busier then I'd bargained for... had impromptu lunch with a new couple from church & their sweet little baby boy. Had to rush home straighten up & figure out a quick lunch. It went well anyway.
Then I did a deeper cleaning because dh also invited our good friends over for popcorn & milkshakes tonight. That also went well... used the mopping for my exercise points.
Yesterday was a write-off for housework, because it was a dark-rainy day & I felt drained all day... which is usually the day I catch up on housework...
Looking forward to going back to work tomorrow!! Its easier!
Hope everyone's doing well!
Good night!

Years ago, I always put a pot roast in the oven before church and had the rest of the meal ready to finish up. That way if we decided to invite someone over from church we were ready, if not had some handy leftovers.

Season 3 of BB, want to watch that and not get my work done, bad bad bad.

Can't believe oct is almost here!

Buffy: My dd is mourning no more Breaking Bad..

Yes, the pot roast is a great idea..My motherinlaw would always have a big meal
after church..Lots of work, lots of prep. I think that was normal in the olden days.
However, my family just had sandwiches after church, then we went out for dinner at night..Just burgers, but gave Mom a break.

I think we had Pumpking Iron Challenge for October..? Ideas?????
