Oh I don't think you are procrastinating. If it's me, I can't just decide on a whim - I have to think through where I want everything after I've dragged it out!

Hi ladies..

Ran out to exercise..Did 2 miles of walking with Leslie.. Got a salad at McD's for lunch.

Alex went 13 hours on his last shot..His "insulin" type only is good for 6 hours, so maybe his little pancreas is kicking in..PTL!!! Let's hope so..

Laundry, Bible Study..

Watched the last Campion episode..I loved it..

I'm still loving Mr Selfridge. Haven't tried Campion. So many shows so little time.

My oldest DGD friend/roomie just lost her mother. She's only 23 and it was very sudden. I feel so sorry for her and this whole family.

I made a new recipe for lunch ~ Brown Rice, Carrot, Ginger Cakes with Garlic Aioli!
Not bad!!

Then I cleaned the front of all the kitchen cabinets, cleaned out and cleaned the freezer, dusted the dining room and living room, and then walked the dog!

The DW is running again too!

I think I'm turning into a 1950's housewife!
Save me someone!!!

This hardly ever happens, so I'm taking advantage of it!

I cleaned off my desk - now I have to figure out what to do with all the stuff!

Morning everyone!

DH was out of town and I took advantage of it and read some of the books on my Kindle that I had downloaded. Love a day or two when I can just sit and read. Nothing special in the books, just light, mystery types but entertaining.

DH due home today, and it is cool and rainy here, probably will stay in today too but will have laundry to do when he gets home.

Hi everyone..

Dreary day..Exercised (3 miles)..Had quiche for lunch..yumm..Nothing exciting happening here..Just some paperwork to do this afternoon..

Glad our pilot is on track... On track is the way to go on this plan. But, the nice part is if you get off, it is easy to get back on because you will see weight gain..That is
incentive enough for me.

Enjoy those books, Buffy..I'm a mystery lover, too..Nothing too bloody..LOL.

Hi to everyone else...Have a nice haircut..Don't overwork yourself, MK..I hate papers/mail..What to do with it???

I'm overflowing with reading right now but my favorite, that I'm reading more often than any of the others, is Fall of Giants by Ken Follett. It's the first of a trilogy and I'm looking forward to the 2nd one too.

I was planning on being really good today, after dinner theater last night, but I slipped up a little bit at lunch with a few tortilla chips. I took my daughter in law out while DGD was in her therapy. But I didn't let it derail me for dinner, so all is not lost, I hope. I was bumping the top of my window awfully close this a.m. and you're right Carolyn, that's the incentive.

Buffy, I love lazy days like that. My problem is, I get caught up in them and then find it hard to get motivated to do anything else. In the meantime, everything falls apart around me, lol.

Oh my thank you Sandy for the reminder about Fall of the Giants. I have that one along with the other one on my kindle. Is there anymore than just the 2? After I'm finished with the one I'm in the middle of now I'll have to see what that one is like.

It's been a quiet day here. Dh went to Home Depot and brought back some bell pepper plants and Jalapeño Pepper plants. They went in the final planter box. We will soon be having Jalapeño poppers on the grill. WooHoo!

Time to help with our omelet and spinach dinner. Have a nice evening.

It's a trilogy. I don't think #3 is out yet.

I need a day like that! I'm only 100 pages into Maine by Courtney Sullivan ~ I really like it and it's due in 2 days!!

I'm on the last episode of the first season of Call the Midwife. They finally have it on Netflix!! Then I can start catching up on season 2.

I love jalapenos!!! Poppers and otherwise!

Hi everyone.

Our poor pastor's wife is not enjoying our cold spring. They are from Texas and can't wear her flip flops yet. My heat is on and feels good.

Dh made it to Boston. Now he just has to watch out for those crazy Boston drivers. Lol

I will have to watch Call the Midwife. I saw one episode and I know I would love it.

I like Sandy's window idea.

I love bacon and eggs. That was dinner.

KC/Overland Park hello!
We head home tomorrow after a wonderful visit with DH's aunt who is only 14 yrs older than DH.

Sandy is this your area? Or are you in St. Louis?

Cold here and rained all day. My mother told me Tulsa only got 1/2" of rain - better than nothing.

Carolyn tell your pastor's wife in just a couple of days she can wear her flippy flops!
Glad I don't have MK's problem of being too clean and organized!!

to all!

Yes! Poor thing - looks scared, I can't believe how close those people are to him (moose are more dangerous than bears)... see the man luring him out with the apple? There's a whole table of apples right behind him!

What a picture!!! Yes, moose are so big and they can do a lot of damage. Hopefully he enjoyed his apple. Wowza.

Catch you later ladies and Jim. Off to my luncheon meeting in a little bit. We get to set it up and move tables around.

Yep, scary stuff they're spouting, huh? But what they're saying here... the missiles they have are very inaccurate, so they might mean to hit you & hit us! Sure hope its all just a big bluff.

Doing great today. Hope you all are too!

Hi friends - from home - Sandy next time we visit DH's aunt I will get in touch with you!

I haven't read a newspaper or listened to any news in about a week so it looks like I should get caught up and see if I need a bomb shelter or something. Sheesh!

Glad to visit, glad to get home.
Hugs to all!

Hi!

Another busy errand day - AND it's 55 and rainy. Ick!
I had a pedi, shopped at Petsmart, Walmart, and Starbucks.
Then had my hair cut, colored and highlighted. It's finally darker again.
I also visited my mom ~ but she was in the activity room and looked like she was asleep, so I left her a magazine and continued on my way.

Close - we actually live in IL about 2 hours from St Louis - so right in the middle of the state!
DH is from KC and we go there twice a year ~ for Thanksgiving and Easter.

Carolyn - my DH left Boston this morning!
