I found Masterpiece Classic or whatever it shows, found that it was indeed Downtown Abbey (2 hours tonight, right?) and set it to record "first run and repeat episodes" or similar. I FIRST set it to record new shows only, then I couldn't tell that it was going to record tonight's episode, so opted for the whole thing. I won't be able to watch any of it until I catch up.

Gosh I have so much TV homework to do!

Oh you didn't notice you've been followed around by that camera crew?
I heard it was the reality show of Sandy, the miraculously pregnant friend!

Takes so much time to figure out all our gadgets! My living room stuff is still not hooked up right to use all the gadgets and haven't had time to mess with it, too busy watching tv

Acaponeta, Mexico... heading south. Driving in Mexico is an adventure! When we did it before it took a lot of concentration for Dave. I was oblivious most of the time, just clicking pictures! But the rule there is... he who passes the most cars wins! They pass blindly on hills, anywhere! And everybody's happy!

Sorry Sandy's not well.
Talking about recording... Biggest Loser starts tonight! I've got the PVR set up to record & will be watching it too. I love to work out watching it (over & over).

Its a gorgeous day today. I'm going to brave the cold & do a walk, with face covered. Trying to protect that frostnip on my cheek.

I love avacodo's too... lemon & savor salt, or just lemon...

Or lime and salt... Yum!

Ay yi yi - whoever passes the most cars wins?? You must have nerves of steel!

I missed when you got frostbite - was it recently? Or recently enough it's extra susceptible? I'm ignorant, but I can learn!

Ignorance is bliss... The rule is for the residents... not us. Poor DH was pretty nervous. They also figure motorcycles don't need much room, so squeeze you right off the road. Oh yeah, and they use the horn to say "I'm here" not to be mad at you...
I might have forgot to mention it here. Yeah, a few days ago it felt like I had glue on my face. That's when I noticed it. Can't see it (much). But I can sure feel it. So I'm babying it & putting lots of salve on it. I think its just frostnip, because its mild.

1 avocado
1/4cup cocoa
1/4cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
1/4cup eritihtol(or whatever sweetener you like)
5-10 drops liquid stevia(again whatever sweetener you like. I like mine really sweet.)
splash of vanilla extract

mix it all together and you have a little taste of paradise. I like to mix up some HWC to put on top.
Buffy - that sounds fabulous!!
Does it HAVE to have 2 different sweeteners?

I tried to find a picture of the other accommodation, but I couldn't find a good one. The other one looked nice.

On the pudding, I used my immersion blender and yes, it uses 2 sweeteners.

Thanks for DS's daily updates and Debby for the trip updates.

Downton Abbey was soooooo good.

Good morning ladies,

MKay, I love to hear about your ds' itinerary. It is so great that they keep the day packed. Does he get credit for this???

Oh, DAbbey was wonderful last night. How many of us watched it live??? Don't want to spoil anything. I love Maggie Smith and Shirley was great, too. Funny ladies. Poor Bates.

Debby, Mexico is another adventure for sure. It's a free for all. When dh would travel there for business they would hire a driver. I can see why.

My weight has been about the same on my 1300 calorie plan. So I might dip down a bit and see what happens. I'll try 1200 and see if any bits of fat fall off.

Exercise this morning. It's Slow burn day, which always makes me feel good.

Morning!
Didn't sleep well last night so kind of slow going this morning.

BP down this morning, I am beyond confused. Have headache on right side of head only. I have another chiro appt. today, while there I will get him to check my BP and if it is high, I will go on to my regular Dr.'s office and check it there.

Made the boiled chicken and broth yesterday, put it in fridge overnight so now I need to pull off the meat, etc. And, going to make some more egg salad.

Are Carolyn and I the only ones of us who watched Downton Abbey live? Wish they were all 2 hour shows, I love it that much.

I just got done watching so I can peek back in now. I wish they were all 2 hours too! I love this show. So much to keep track of which is what makes it so interesting to watch. I'm beginning to wonder if Bates actually did kill Vera? Or is it a certainty that he didn't. I should've watched last season again to be sure I was caught up.

Buffy, don't mess around with this headache any more! This has been going on way too long.

MK, love your DS's itinerary that you post daily. Does he have internet access? Skype?

My house is a disaster!! And I'm trying to ignore it and continue to rest today. I feel a little better today but don't want another set-back like I had over the weekend. I really think I did too much Friday and Saturday. I guess my body is more tired than I thought. I keep waking up in the middle of the night though for about 2 hours which is beyond irritating to me. Then when I finally get back to sleep I don't feel like I sleep well for the rest of the night.

Yes she was the one that had the baby by the recovering Army guy. She later tried to give the baby to the grandparents but later declined because of the stern grandfather.

I thought there wouldn't be anymore Mid Wife series. I loved that too. Will check to see if it's still going on or reruns.

Oh, we think alike. Bates sure put him in his place but I am very leery of his cell mate. So fascinating to see what the upper English lived like in those times, wow, what excess??? Fun to watch though.

So far can't tell as the chiro has helped but this will be my third treatment today. I am going to have them take my BP and if it is too high, I will go from there by my Dr.s office and or call and try to get in to my Dr. tomorrow. This is the first day in quite a while however, when I have not had really bad pain in the back/neck area of my head and that could be due to his adjustments. 2 nights in a row I went to bed with ice on that area. Yesterday I was sure all this was because my blood pressure had been running too high and I had been too dumb to check it. But, today, even with my inaccurate cuff, it was back to probably what was a good range and I still have a headache, not too bad but it is certainly there. So hard to figure things like this out b/c it isn't something you can show the doctor.
I am befuzzled!

Judy, so glad you minded me on not watching Downton Abbey last night until you get caught up on the first 2 seasons, but girl, get on that!!! I have 2 other friends that I bugged and bugged to get them to watch it, when they finally could they were both awed and amazed , really is one of the very best series I have watched for a long time and lots of fans.

Sandy, your disaster of a house will still be there when you feel better, unfortunately!!! But, it will be a breeze to clean up when you do feel good. I have trouble resting when I don't feel good if my house is a mess too, but I usually just kind of sweep it all into one room and shut the door, that seems to work well

Bates just can't be guilty, or it was justified or something, we all like him toooo much! But, like Carolyn said, are we seeing another side of Bates, of course, you have to be a tough one to survive in prison.

Sharon, you might be right on the Mid Wife series, I just got in on it during part of the season last year I think, or last fall. I need to go find the whole thing and watch it from the start.

One thing I love about these shows, aside from being set in England, are the clothes, oh my, they are so elaborate at Downton. I sure would hate to have to dress up that much for dinner every night though, wow can you imagine. And I love the downstairs people every bit as much, I read a review and one of the things they mentioned is that the author fleshed out each character of the servents as well as he did the upper class.

I reserved Mid Wife, Season One at my library. I'm only number 108 in line, lol. So I'd say it's a pretty popular show. And I think I read that season 2 starts Jan 13??? Don't quote me, I could be delusional.

I can tell when I start to feel better and my house bugs me. Yesterday, I didn't give a whit what it looked like! I'm just laying around watching recorded TV today. I did have to do 2 loads of clothes but that wasn't a big deal.

Have to go to Target today. They have their Champion workout clothes on sale which I like, or did last time I bought them. Mine are way too big now (yay) and I love to throw those on to run errands, get a pedicure, etc. Of course I don't work out in them, I should just call them errand clothes Little by little I am pulling an item or two out of my closets, trying them on and if they are even a little too big, they go in the give away pile. I bought some size 14 jeans the other day because the ones I have are getting a little loose. The 14's fit just fine, but I think I am going to return them. In TX, I hardly wear them past February, maybe a few times in March and hopefully, they would be too big next fall. So, I think I will just get by with what I have and can buy some for next winter. That size probably sounds gigantic to most of you slim little friends but it has been a long time since I wore that size, so long, that I had gotten rid of all my clothing that was that size.

That's sure the truth Sandy, when you feel really really bad, the house can just fall down around you and you just don't care. It is that in between stage when you feel a little better and want it cleaned up, but, you still don't quite feel good enough to do it.
