When were you at Whistler? Vancouver & Victoria are beautiful for cities. We live 14 hr drive north from Vancouver. I think our town is the nicest one in norther BC. it has a swiss-alps kind of feel, and the people are all friendly, talk to strangers, etc. But then again, most smaller places are like that.

I've seen on other threads (and I am not so naive - I am a real life person) where they are talking about not being friends with a group of women because those women can be so hateful.

I feel sorry for those people. I completely know women (and forgive me EVEN MEN) can be horrid gossips and hurtful. HOWEVER I have a long history of wonderful friendships with women. I (and they) are faithful and supportive and very smart and funny.... good combo. (Buffy I'm not talking about that group of bees who were jealous of your success - they deserve to be out of your favor. And I hope to never be out of your favor. What a richness you've added to our lives! )

You all are funny and fun and again - thanks for letting me join in the reindeer games. I am grateful.

I agree with you, Judy. This is a great group of ladies. It has been a safe place. And fun! It sure would be fun to meet face to face too. I've actually done that. Met a buddy from a support group. It was great fun!

Happy New Year to my wonderful group of friends. Doubt i will make it to midnight. Drinking as much water as I can possibly get down, DH and I shared a bottle of champagne, my first drink since Sept. 3rd . I know that the more water I drink, the less I will feel the bubbly tomorrow. It was nice and we had a nice talk about vacation ideas while listening to Golden Oldies music

MK, didnt forget you at all, I was just picking people up on my way to KC

They do have good air fares from DFW to KC, not sure about all of us.

I've been battling the same 5 lbs for this entire year +!
Is that maintaining?

I gain it, lose it, gain it, .....rinse and repeat.

Maybe i could actually lose it and keep it off - that should be my goal.
