Wow Judy! You're gorgeous! Looks like you don't need to lose weight either.

You can do it..

Debby: I can't believe how much snow you get....Amazing..Glad you can enjoy the cross country skiing..

Tree is up and the living room is decorated..I don't decorate any other rooms..Like some peeps do.
Wow! Good for you on the tree Carolyn!
Yup, we've got snow decorating everything outside... the huge poinsettia (3 ft tall) I bought just might do for decorations in the house!

I actually had trouble recognizing myself. I think I've lost 22 pounds since June, but it does look like more to me. I am just happy to feel healthier, and glad to have had the advice for the thyroid and BHRT. My skinny sister took the picture and is always so gracious to tell me how well I look. She is 112 pounds! LOL!

Hehee!! Its great to have a picture taken that you surprise yourself & look even better than you do in the mirror!! LOVE THAT!

LOL... I had no idea it would be so big! Ordered it through my grand-daughter, for a fund-raiser. It was hard to find a place for it because its so big & is not supposed to have direct sunlight, also can't be down where Shelby would "eat" it. So its on top of a book-shelf.

Tomorrow I get to dress up in 1919 outfit for our Christmas production. Should be fun. Have to try to curl my hair & get some red lipstick from the other gals. (totally unlike me).

We lived/worked a couple of years in Galveston, TX where they dress in period costumes - they had all faiths and all very old churches, etc. and gave the history of all their churches/faiths. So interesting and fun at Christmas!

Wow Judy, fantastic picture, yes, you look very slim and trim. LC takes all the puffiness away from hypothyroidism.

I loved visiting Galveston.

We have a little fiber optic tree, that is about the extent of my decorating these days, I kind of miss having them up but don't miss putting things up and out or taking them down and putting them away.

DDIL said that they decorated their real Christmas tree and Oliver loves it, but, as soon as they leave the room, he takes the decorations off

We'll, I'm pretty sure I officially have tummy flu. Not a good night around here and not much better this morning. I sure hope it's short lived.
Judy, that pic is fantastic! I thought you were one of those boys' friends. WTG!!

Morning!
Oh Sandy, sorry to hear about the tummy flu. Wish you had some of my yummy buttery chicken broth, I just made another batch yesterday.

Took a benadryl at bedtime last night and I sure slept well. Still have that nagging headache though, probably will try to get in to see my Dr. tomorrow.

Ok, the good news is, that as of this morning, I have not gained any weight the past 2 weeks since Thanksgiving. The not so good news is that I haven’t lost any. I am ok with slow loss but not ok with no loss. The biggest change I have made is to not log my food. So, starting today, I am going to log again to see if that helps. It may or may not, but at least I will see where I am at. I do think I was under eating protein. I know I was getting plenty of fats and have no idea where I was on calories. Some days I have to almost make myself eat, but the things I do eat are pretty calorie dense, like the cream cheese mousse, the macadamia nuts.

I know I said I wasn't going to log until after the holidays, but that was if I continued to lose slowly.

The journey continues……

Judy your gorgeous! I'm just now seeing that great picture you posted. You look like your are having a blast!

This morning the scale had me back down a little bit. Glad to see it. I found some Paleo Bread at a health store close by and had to try the almond flour one. Boy is it filling! One slice with my scrambled eggs this morning about did me in. I had dh put cream in the eggs and I slathered on the Irish butter. Wow don't need food now for a while. Costco has the big plastic container of unsalted mixed nuts so we're heading there for a couple of jars. One for a back up because they may not be there next time, .

It's till raining here. Love it. We sure need the extra and it's the type of rain that soaks in not floods. Everything looks so clean now. Love that. The dogs are a bit wiggle cause they don't like getting wet. I force them out in it anyway. Picture this: Me in my hoodie standing out in the backyard coaxing with a doggie cookie while 2 rat terriers are staring at me like I need a be admitted at the slider door.

Lunch is going to be some tuna salad on a slice of that almond bread and dinner is cod with kale and yellow summer squash.

Hope you get over the flu fast Sandy. Buffy has some healthy chicken broth for you. Sipping on bone broth is so soothing. I just made some and have it in my fridge right now. Take good care of yourself ladies. Later

Glad for the rain to be somewhere. Sure hope we get some soon.

I am ALSO hoping that almond bread becomes a "thing" in stores here! How convenient. (wait...is that how I got overweight in the first place? ) Your menu sounds delightful!

Sandy I am so sorry - take it easy. Rest well.

Thanks girls,

It was fun. First time I've worn a dress in probably 3 years! Felt a bit frumpy & conspicuous. I'm sure glad this one is over. Next week will be easier I think... & I know the songs better. At least it will get me back in the habit of wearing a dress.

We had a fun day in the snow this afternoon. The guys (dh & son) got the snow mobiles going. Grand-kids had a blast, even though it was only 21 degrees. I kept to my ski-trail.

Sorry you're sick Sandy. bummer!

Mary Kay didn't they send you a note saying why your post was deleted? Its kind of strange!

Judy I'm with you on posting pics that look "better" although I was a bit disappointed in my costume pic... had to let you see it. You must be very close to your goal!

Carolyn, I'm wearing a brown skirt & blouse with belt & buttoned to collar. Hoping to find some seamed stockings, high heels...

Unfortunately I lost my grandmother's pearl necklace in the snow in the church parking lot... must take a rake to work tomorrow & see if I can find it.

Morning!
Cute outfit Debby!
Have Dr. Oz set to tape.
MK, love your new profile pic.
Sandy, hope you feel better today.

I am up early because DH has a head cold and the snoring last night was sooooo bad. He didn't get over one and now has another, but nooo, he doesn't need to go to the Dr. Can you tell I am a little grumpy over this?

I am calling in today to see if Dr. will approve a steroid shot for me, I am so tired of this headache.
