Hi
![]() Making a quick stop-in. Been busy, & have choir tonight. Its all good. ![]() We've actually had a "melt" and the snow on the valley floor is disappearing fast. Kinda nice! I went boot shopping today... they were just too ugly to buy, so I'm going through all my boots & old shoes in the storage room, discovering "why" they were put down there... time to chuck 'em! I might just stick with my old gum boots instead of paying for the new style boot... its not so "clunky" looking. Then go for the fancy knee-high dress boots! They're purty! And will go with my new dress. Judy, what I do to alternate my cals is drop my carbs lower on the down days... or nuts. It works quite easily. I know my diet is quite different than yours, so you'll have to figure out what you can do without. I hardly notice a difference when its low! Question... do any of you know, is there a gluten-free communion bread? I had a request today to look into that. What a great idea! Have a blessed evening!

I find I have little room for boots, but I keep finding boots... I don't know when I decided I needed to look like I just removed my helmet from my dressage class.
![]() I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT ABOUT GLUTEN-FREE COMMUNION BREAD!!! I think that every Sunday.... |

Hi gals..
Welcome back, Cindy..Anxious to hear about your trip.. Our communion bread is like little tiny squares of unsalted Saltines..We have it once a month, so I don't worry about the carbs too much. LOLOL.. Janet: AKKKK..on running outdoors during your mammo...I have mine tomorrow morning, so I will be on the lookout for fire trucks in the area. |

Carolyn, good for you on getting all those healthy things attended to. DH will be glad he has had the cataract surgery. Once it's done, but it is really easy peasy these days. DH and I have both had it.

![]() Buffy & Carolyn & Sandy - Thanks for the shout out!! And I heard somebody was stalking me . . . (Judy) ![]() I missed you all too! And yes, there is gluten-free communion - at least I've heard of people that have it - but I've never asked! I lost 2lbs last month and managed to gain it back last weekend, so I'll try to lose it all over again. Carolyn - what is your DD doing at Sundance? Hope everyone is doing well! ![]() |

I got a mani last Friday. We must all be on the same maintenance schedule, lolol. I got a gelish manicure and I love it. I got one before my trip and it lasted 5 weeks!!!! The last few days it was looking a tad unruly from growing out but no chips, no breaks. I got French so it didn't show too much. So I got another one this time and hope it lasts as long.
Carolyn, you ARE fit. You are so disciplined doing your Slow Burn. I just can't seem to get back into much activity except walking and I don't even do that everyday. I keep thinking about it though. Does that count?

Mary Kay, welcome back! So, you've heard of gluten-free communion, wouldn't happen t know the name of it? I think we're just going to buy crackers & break them up for the first little while. That's what we used to do with saltines. Have gone to tiny ritz crackers in the last year or so. I had a hard day today... set-builders spray painted background today & then brought it into the basement. Before I realized what it was, it permeated the whole church & attacked my adrenals. So, that's a set-back for my adrenals. I'm going to have to be ultra careful the rest of the week, while they continue to work on it... Well, have a good evening! |

Hi all. I stink at personals, but I wish you all good luck in your plan.
I think I'm getting the hang of this, but I have two questions: 1) I think I saw something about minimum requirements for breakfast. I don't like eating a big breakfast. Can I get away with something like this or should I make myself eat more at breakfast? 2) I'm only guessing at my LBM but I think my protein requirement is 50 to 70. Should I freak out if I go a little higher, like up to 75 or so? Thanks. 1400 cal for the day B- 1 1/2 oz cooked fatty steak, 1/2 oz cheddar, 1/2 small apple later. 10 fat, 10 carb, 16 protein. I mix up daily salad of 3 cups lettuce, half cup cuke/pepper/celery mix and a couple cherry tomatoes, oz walnuts. 2 T ranch dressing and 1 T olive oil. I split this salad between L and D. L-salad w/ walnuts and dressing, 1 1/2 oz fatty beef D- 3.5 oz cooked dark chicken w/skin, the rest of the salad and walnuts, and 4 asparagus spears. Dessert, an hour or so later.. fat bomb. 1,405 cal 113.2 fat 70% 36.1 carb (not net) 10% (taking away only the fiber, the net carbs are 22.5.) 70.1 pro 20%
