Morning!
I will get us started off this morning since I was MIA yesterday. Stayed up way, way too late Sunday night into Monday morning so didn't get much done yesterday and hardly on computer all day. Carolyn, it is surprising how high those car damages can be, right? The Cod sounds look, I rarely look at fish recipes since I just eat mild fish and I just brown it well in butter with salt/pepper/ and a little paprika for color and taste. I am ready for some fish this week though. Posted a new low this morning in my siggy, although I had gotten that low once or twice in the last week. Just a few oz more but I am so happy to see it come off, 1 oz at a time. At least the weight from the night of dancing at the wedding is back off. Office work today, gotta get through all these papers and get organized for the week.

Good morning girls! Chilly here, I think 17 degrees overnight. Made my first attempt at homemade Chicago style pizza last night. I used a pre-made whole wheat Pillsbury crust, dusted a cheesecake pan with cornmeal, layered fresh mozzarella on the crust, then sauteed mushroom/peppers/onion and lower fat Italian sausage. Topped the whole thing with 2 cans of drained, stewed tomatoes with fresh basil. It turned out really well and less fatty than others. Nice and fresh tasting but I was too lazy to try homemade pizza crust and the crust-in-a-can was actually good. And I made buttermilk pancakes (a Pinterest recipe) for breakfast. Tom has been working in the yard and wanted a lumberjack breakfast! I need a better counter top griddle. I have been trying a lot of different things since I got on Pinterest.

![]() So glad you are checking in! Cindy I must admit, your menu is making me re-think my no-wheat pledge... deep-dish pizza is one of my favorite things on the earth, but I bet I go years between having one. Pinterest really gets the creative juices flowing, I agree. I don't have an account, but I kind of "follow" lots of low carb Pinterest sites. |

Hi!
Judy - I do eggs, but not butter - that's dairy. But usually I make the regular recipes and just substitute coconut milk and tofu butter for the ingredients. Cindy - Yum! I think I gained a pound just reading that!! Even though I don't have a problem with gluten, I'm trying to be strictly LC, which eliminated flour anyway. Trying being the operative word! Buffy - morning! Sandy - I bake fish a lot - sometimes in parchment paper! |

Found out today is the only day this week that DGS is free after school to get his allergy shot and I am the only one who can take him today, soooo, guess I will be picking him up and taking him. Which I usually do, just hadn't planned on it today. Rest of office work will get pushed off to tomorrow, as usual.

*cough* *cough*Yes. Food. Food porn. Yes. *cough* ![]() Actually yes. It was part of my failed attempt last year. I was low carb for about 3 days. It was the high fat and the new sweeteners that have kept me happy. But THANK YOU for reminding me! ![]() |

Oh...MKay...good luck at your doctor's appointment today and you, too, Sharon, in January..
Was at 151 today..Now if I can hold until tomorrow morning..But, Dh's birthday dinner out tonight..I will be very good..very good.. I was glad that Melissa won Dancing..She is amazing.. Got my haircut..Hey, my hairdresser started going to my LC dr. and lost 9 pounds in 10 days, so far. Of course, she is telling all her customers about it, so maybe LC will be all over town. She has about 60 pounds to go, I'm estimating..

Hi Y'all,Sounds like lots of you going to the Dr's... I had to get my TSH done today. Would rather they tested the other things, but it is what it is. I'm still trying to get my temp. up to 98.6, and stop losing hair, but feeling pretty good! I've tried adding salt, not happy about the constant water retention. Hope it passes soon.Shelby's doing great. She now sleeps in our room on her dog-bed (graduated from her crate). We've been enjoying the snow & cross-country skiing. My inner thighs are still in shock. Hopefully that will wear off soon! ![]() Its been very busy at work this week. We're having special Christmas services all month & I had to print off, cut & count the fliers for the mail. (not something I usually do). Choir, birthday party, board meeting, ladies party, etc... seems every night has something! Well, now that my grand-daughters had their birthday parties I can start thinking about Christmas. For some reason, I'm motivated to give gifts! Such a change from the norm. ![]() Hope you're all making progress on the scales! ![]()

Morning!
Was suffering all day yesterday with a killer sinus/allergy headache, seems late in the year but we have had a couple of really windy days. Still have it this morning but only over 1 eye and haven't taken anything for it yet. I like Debbie's Dedication December for our name next month, although I think skinny Santa is cute too. Still trying to get things done in the office, yesterday was wasted I am afraid. And, need to make up toffee for sampling at some upcoming events. And, it is time to fix a big stockpot of chicken for broth and chicken pieces. I ruined my last batch by adding too much vinegar, got carried away over on the bone broth thread about how to leach out the minerals, whatever, from the bones. My broth and chicken ended up tasting like vinegar, not a taste I cared for. Would like to see 190 or less by the first of the year. That is a goal to shoot for and I think if things continue as they have, I should see that. |

Buffy - so sorry for your sinus headache. I had them when I was younger and that pain is seared into my memory. You really do just have to wait it out - not fun.
![]() I think you'll skate into 190 or below, easily. |
