The short version is:
Anna did a favor to dog sit for a few days. She did. The lady's dog pooped on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. The lady got angry and blamed Anna. Tried to get her to replace the expensive rug. Anna Refused. Lady tried to file an insurance claim. They denied. Lady then tried to blame Anna's dog in order to file claim. Insurance asked Anna. Anna denied. Lady Sued Anna claiming Anna's dog pooped on her rug. Today is court day. But it's so much more involved and crazy than that. You'll just have to take a few days and go read the novel. ![]()

Sharon, hang in there.
On another note: WOWEE I am so glad Anna won, but more for being aware this was even happening!! I haven't read one post except on this thread (thanks metqa! My worry is, did Anna have to spend money to defend herself? Regardless she surely had to take time to show up to the hearing. This is amazing. |

Hi ladies..
Working all day long selling tickets for our Fall Festival in town.. Yes, I have been following Anna's story with the dog poo..glad she won!! I think she did spend a bit of money, but much less than what replacing the rug would cost.. |

That is a HUGE thread, but I am hooked.
I have to admit - in all my years of lurkdom I never went to the playground because I was trying to get down the nuts & bolts of low carb, then EFGT. You know, doing my homework. And I'd see someone say something about the playground... That's how you all know each other so well! New frontiers.... for me to lurk.... |

The PG is an interesting place. Sometimes you can ask something and many people
are experts and will share..Lots of prayer takes place there, too.. I'm heading for bed.. |

Buffy you seem like a natural for that!
If I didn't have to work, I can see I would spend a great deal MORE time here. Oh dear. And I do really see the results of prayer... ![]() I better pray to keep my mind focused on work! ![]() |

Morning!
Ok, this morning I went to the playground and shyly looked around, didn't know any of the other kids so just sat on one of the swings and watched all the other kids , then walked slowly over to one group who were talking about The Real Housewives shows, didn't say a word but secretely joined their group. Think I will go back tomorrow. |

We are supposed to get cooler weather and rain this weekend. Supposed to go to DGS's baseball game tomorrow evening so hope it isn't cancelled. Then he is going to come home with me and spend the night, and do some work for Papa in the morning, raking some leaves. He is saving up money for a family vacation next summer that he is planning.
Have a Cabi party (ladies clothing that is way overpriced) to go to tonight. They are fun but I do think the clothes are too expensive for what they are. Starting to get rested up and caught up from being gone last weekend.

And they all seem to know each other pretty well.
I do not have the time to devote to such a group, but one day I can tell that will be my fun. I'll die young because I've sat in front of a monitor too long! I already post a lot here - imagine when I have the actual time to read and read and read and post! ![]() Buffy your description made me lol. Thyroid ultrasound today! No prep! |

You are right on Judy, looks like a person could just spend all their time there which I don't have the time for and I don't want to do. I get bored pretty easily so probably won't participate much.
Let us know how the ultrasound goes! |

Hi Y'all!
![]() Hope your ultrasound is worthwhile Judy! Day off today, hoping to get some books (that desperately need doing) worked on today, but have my doubts. Already my hubby will be getting me to help him get ready to go on a hunt, and grandkiddo's coming for a sleep-over tonight. Should be fun... but I just don't know how I'm ever going to get rid of these books... ![]() Hope you all have a good Friday. ![]() |

Ain't it the truth!
Ya, my husband's business is never-ending & very busy this year... at church its easy... but I have a third set... a client that I tried to drop last year (because of my fatigue), he wouldn't let me quit... so I've had his books hanging over my head... really need to get them done & be rid of them! What a gorgeous day... have a great one! ![]() |
