So Mary Kay dear, you obviously know how to multi quote.
I press the button, and it turns red. What do I do? Do I select some text? Halp! (when you have time and stop admiring that darling tree) ![]() |

Dear Judy,
Don't click on the Quote button, click on the "+ button next to it. You can click on as many of them as you want. Then click on the Post Reply button and they'll appear in your post. Try it! ![]() |

Ugh. Not successful.
When I click on the plus symbol, then click "Post quick reply" no quotes appear, and I get this: The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters. Should I start by hitting the "go advanced" button? ![]() |

![]() Someday when I have more time maybe I can read up on adrenal fatigue and how it's treated. It seems like it's more common than I had previously known. I do NOT like the thought of vertigo. Do you just wait until it passes? Is this part of a pattern? |

I had no idea about the multi quote button! I’ve just been cutting and pasting and writing the HTML code by hand to get the multiple quote lines in one post. I’ll have to give that a try next time.
I had one super busy but really great weekend. My Mom and I bought a house for my sister that was up for auction on Saturday. Buying a house on auction is really gut-wrenching, every time someone bids against you it’s like your heart leaps into your throat. My sister and her husband came home to look at the house last weekend but were not able to be here for the auction itself. They want to move back home from NYC to start a family and this property just happened to come up for sale. It’s a really great home too with almost three acres of land. We all celebrated on Saturday and I had way to much food and wine which is showing on the scale now but oh well, how often is something like this going to happen again.

I found it!
Thank you - I'll be able to find exactly what I'm looking for without looking for it and sifting through a bunch of time-wasting articles. I have decided for myself anyway, not to post any outside website unless I check with them whether it's OK. I know others do it, but I've not been here long enough to discern, so I've decided to just ask. I had no idea vertigo was related to hypothyroid. Both my mother and my sister are hypothyroid. My sister even lost to 118 pounds eating this way and just got her blood work back - she needs MORE medication for that. She is tired but can't sleep well, hair falling out, etc. Weirdly I think she got a boost from the coconut oil and lack of carbs that masked the thyroid function. I bet she'll have to be careful to eat enough to maintain her 118 pounds. I guess it takes several weeks to tell a difference. I just figure someday soon I'll be diagnosed with hypothyroid - hard to escape your genes, right?

Good morning ladies. I had a nice surprise when I stepped on the scale this morning. I'm one pound shy from a 10# lose. I am so pleased to finally find a plan that I can see results in getting this extra weight off.

![]() I just had to find your tree to see it again. Wish we had fairs like that around here. If you had the wall space, it would be so cute in the house. Took some spareribs out to defost for dinner tonight. Think I'll do them in the oven tonight. I still have some of my bbq sauce I need to use up but don't feel like starting the grill. Should be good that way too. Stepping away from all this fun for now. See you all tomorrow.

Morning!
Got to bed really late, slept really late! Wow, some good losses going on. I also had a loss this week, after 2 weeks and no thought of quitting, I got brave and posted my weekly weights in my siggy. Hope it doesn't come back to nip at my heels, or butt ![]() I didn't know vertigo was related to hypo either. My 3 daughters and myself are all hypothyroid, one DD has a terrible time with hers, up, down, constantly having to change her meds and she sees one of our best endos here. Has to go in every 2 months. Jess, so nice your DS will be close to you all to raise her family. Great reason to celebrate. Hope our little Carolyn is having a great time. Sounds like we have some talented singers in our group My oldest DD, SIL and both of the kids are very musical and DD and DGD are beautiful singers. Office work today. Only 1 appt away from house and that is not until 4:00 pm.

Sure hope so, I know she will feel better but she does have a hard time sticking to a diet, if I can just get him a week or two in, she will do well

That's my plan - if I can just get my dd to do this for a couple of weeks, I think she'll be hooked. Maybe even only a week.
Ah..... later, maybe. I think it will depend on me delivering tasty foods. Her father, my dh is a fantastic griller, so that could help the persuasions! |

I have kept a lot of my protein in the evening meal, too. In fact I eat most of the day keeping track so when dinner comes I'll have plenty of options to share with my dh.
I am losing - but quite slowly now. Maybe 1/2 pound/week. When I think of how much I was struggling before this, I'm fine with that. I imagine it's sustainable, too. |
