I'm down eight for the month. The two's are getting so close, another month and a half I think or maybe just a month if I'm super duper good. I bought some new clothes for the first time in over a year. They are a size smaller but I don't fit in them yet. They were on clearance at target for like 7-11 bucks a dress, and I love dresses. So I got a few and they are waiting for me when I get a little smaller. The hips just don't want to shrink as much as my chest does.

Hi ladies..

I love Slow Burn..I just do 5 pound weights on the "fly" and 8 pound weights on the other stuff..I am all wiggly after my workout and that shows that the muscles are being maxed out..Less damage when you lift slow..

Had a long meeting, then lunch out, then Slow Burn, then making a casserole for our community dinner tonight..I'll eat before I go.

Picking Dh up at Tulsa tomorrow..He says he will take me out to dinner..I am going to insist on P. F. Changs..LOL

I'm sure Slow Burn is a great workout, I really just have a very hard time doing anything slowly. I know I should do things slower, but it's just my nature. I'd have much less bruises if I'd slow down through life, lol.

My friend and I aren't as slow as we are supposed to be, but as long as my arms are wiggly and burning, it is a good thing..

Finally checking in and found the August thread.

Hello everybody

Just still trying to get back into the groove after being gone for 2 weeks, had so much to do to get caught up in the office, errands, still haven't made it to the grocery store but DH picked up a few things.

I didn't weigh the first of the month, I hardly ever do anymore, keeps me happier and as long as my clothes feel the same I know I haven't gained. Some day I might get the incentive to work harder at it and get a few more lbs chiseled off.

Happy Belated birthday MK, sorry I am so behind.

I have a week at home, then going to spend the night at DD's for 5 nights to watch Bobby and Ava for them. Will have the nanny there during the day so a couple of those days I can slip back home to try to keep caught up.

Going to see an Elvis impersonator on Sunday with a friend, I love his songs, shows my age

Today I think I shall finally make it to the grocery store and finish off my list of errands, got the other done yesterday.

Oh, I did really thin out one of my closets earlier this week. Why did I have 50 white tops in there? Seriously? Everytime I see a great deal on one of my favorite tops in either black or white I always think, well, you always need a white top, but I really don't need the pile I had. Now I have to get them sorted and some to consignment store and some to goodwill. But, I can finally see what I do have left in my closet and what I really do wear.

Yes, we did eat at P. F. Chang's..It was great..Gary thought it was great, too..No rice, but did have a mini-dessert as it came with our meal for two..

There's a fast food version of PF Chang's owned by the same people. It's called Pei Wei. Same great food, lower prices. There's one at the 119th & I-35 exit in Olathe as you come into KC Carolyn. Very close to where we met for coffee. Just in case you're ever in the mood for Chinese when you come visit Beth. I love the lettuce wraps!!!
