Uh oh Virgin or Extra Virgin coconut oil??

I thought I had been using extra virgin coconut oil all this time!! Turns out it is Nutiva virgin. Should I be using extra virgin oil? Will virgin be more likely to cause me to stall or why do people use extra virgin?

Well thank goodness! I don't really understand the difference between the two anyway...even after googling it. Doesn't sound like there really is much of a difference....more of a marketing gimmick to upcharge. As long as I'm doing this right....

extra virgin is a term that means something for olive oil, but not for anything else, to my knowledge. it is applied to olive oil pressed a certain way with a minimal acid level.

I don't think there is such a thing as extra virgin coconut oil. that would just be something people printed on a label to make it seem better, I guess.

I believe that refined or unrefined is more important in regards to coconut oil.
