Also, you don't have to use very much of the lemishine. About 1/2-1 tsp and only about 1 T of regular soap. The Maytag guy told me this so I took his advice and my dishes are sparkly and clean.

Hello my dear friends and welcome to our newcomers!
I got back Monday night from my 11 trek with my 2 cousins from Iowa. I first flew to Iowa and visited one cousin for a couple of days, then 2nd cousin picked us up and we drove to Charleston, SC where we spent 3 days sightseeing. Stopped in Ashville, NC on the first day of the drive back to see the Vanderbilt mansion, wow, and then back to cousins house by Sat. night. Stayed there until Monday afternoon when I flew home. Had a wonderful, wonderful fun time but I have to tell you, I am so tired and my house, my office and my laundry are screaming for attention! Gained 4 lbs while gone but 3 of them have slipped away already. My one cousin eats much more often than I do and I ended up overeating most of the trip even though I tried to order less and only eat part of it, but we did have some very good food, so it was hard. I did read through the past several pages and caught up on everyone and was so glad to do so. Have to put out the fires in my office before I can do much of anything else, people are wanting forms filled out, things scanned and emailed to them, TODAY!!!

Hi gals...
Buffy...we can barely keep track of you.. Hope you rest up soon. Overeating and vacation seem to go together..glad you are down 3...MK: Glad your mom is doing better..What a relief.. Sandy and Cindy: Went to the PA and she is giving me 2 creams..progesterone for my face (which Dr. Vernon said would plump up wrinkles..) and the estrogen/test combination for my leg/lower torso..We will see.. Got my blood drawn for thyroid..She will call me if I have to change my prescription..so don't have to go again for 6 months.. Oh..Rachel's parents are moving to Savannah..not Atlanta..They got a house 4 blocks from the water......

I've not heard about the prog on your face? Do you have to be careful with sun exposure? Hmmm. I need to research that. I can't wait to see how you do on the cream.
I want to meet Rachel's parents!!!! In fact I want to become a very close friend, lolol. How wonderful to live so close to the water. Except during hurricanes of course. Buffy, so glad to see you made it back happy and refreshed and that you had a wonderful time. Good therapy I'm sure!!! You'll be caught up in no time. Hey, does anybody know how long to deep fry chicken wings?? I'm going to dig my deep fryer out of storage and start using it again. I even sprang for peanut oil today. Almost had to get a loan though, haha.

Carolyn, I have heard of estrogen cream for wrinkles but not prog. Must look into! And here's an article: http://thewealthofhealth.org/progest...skin-wrinkles/

Thanks, Cindy..Interesting..
Yes,...that does sound like a lovely place..Maybe she will have pictures..I think Savannah is a beautiful city..but it is the south and they are northerners, so I'm sure they will live there during the time he is employed with GulfStream.. |

Reading on into that article Cindy linked here, it says you don't rub the prog cream on your face. Be sure to ask exactly where you're supposed to rub your creams. I rub mine on my inside upper arm or inside upper thigh. Usually the arm b/c it's easier. My cream is est/test/prog all mixed together.

Morning!
Sandy, back home happy but not refreshed I am afraid, I am still sooo tired but I always do that when I travel, I go strong and keep up but takes me several days at home to recover. Old age I guess. But certainly worth it. Yes, Savannah is beautiful, we weren't far from there in Charleston and I have been to Savannah once. May was a good time to visit, warm but not too hot or humid yet. I took the bio identical hormones in pill form, never used the creams but know lots of gals do well on them. MK, waahhh, I can't pull up the picture of your purse, I just see a red X. I got a new purse and wallet at the coach outlet while on my trip, I will try to post a picture later. Mine is really more of a fall color but I might carry it for a while right now. More office work and laundry today, still not completely unpacked. DD#3 and Grant (12) are spending the nights here, they have a very full housefull of company so they just hop over here to go to bed. DH out of town working, gets in tonight, then leaves tomorrow to go 4 wheeling with some friends for the weekend. Grant has a spring concert Friday night, after a cook out and swim party at his house and Monday I will go to DD#2's house for Bobby's birthday (4th). Hoping next week is quiet. |

Hi gals...
My PA told me not to put the estrogen/testosterone on my upper torso..near your chest..Plus, she said that we have to be careful not to have it come in contact with young children when we are holding them. I guess I'll get it tomorrow..I hope it doesn't an arm and a leg..LOL..compounding stuff isn't covered by insurance. Hmmm..on the face?? I'll have to do more reading. Weight was 154.. Dh is coming home late tonight.. Did my exercise..Brought home some 5 pound weights from the gym to play with this weekend with the Slow Burn..My arms are getting stronger, but still weak......... Buffy: WOW...lots going on in your house..How fun. Hope you can rest up a little. |

Morning!
Still just get the red X MK, tried all the tricks. I am sure it is pretty. Yes, a very busy week and I am still tired from trip, but getting a little better each day. I just don't bounce back very well anymore. Lot of business calls this week, which is good, but adding to what I have to do. Cookout tonight, then Grant's concert. He has had a extra busy week and getting to bed late each night so I told him that he could come here tonight, then sleep as late as he wanted tomorrow and just hang out and relax here. The company they have had for a week includes 3 kids younger than him and as an only child, it kind of stresses him out having them there all the time. |

I was a little lazy this morning. It was raining and thundering and I slept in until 8:30!!! It felt good at the time but now I feel like I'm way behind, lol.
No big plans here for the weekend. My baby turns 41 today!! Amazing how fast time goes by. I'm loving my deep fryer. I'm glad I dug it out of storage. Last night I made fried green beans and jicama. Both were very good. I also made the Jiffy Buns and grilled hamburgers to put on them. They were very good and so easy to make too! |

I do too Cindy??? Plus, I get a cocktail injection every month with everything that's in my cream + B12. I put the cream on my inside inner arm between my shoulder and my elbow. No hair grows there anyway, maybe that's it.
Off to run errands. I'm still behind!! I did get a couple of drawers cleaned out though most of the stuff I took out of them is now on the bedroom floor waiting for me to do something with it. |

Hi ladies..
Need to go exercise..Had a meeting this morning and passed up on the Green Tomato Bread..It's amazing that I am so not tempted anymore.. Oh....I have a deep fryer in the garage..How was the fried jicama? Did you do like on the recipe board? I must try those Jiffy buns, tooo..Thanks. Got my magic creams this morning in the mail..Thank God for insurance cuz it would have been $130 instead of $50 for a month..It says to only use the progesterone at nighttime.. We will see.... |

No, I didn't use a recipe. I couldn't find one right away so I winged it. I had some of Jenn's low carb bake mix made so I sprayed the green beans with pam and then dusted them with that. I fried half the jicama also dusted lightly and the other half plain. I liked the plain but every bite of all of it was gone!! I'll try the green beans plain next time. They were really good! I have to think of some new ideas to use my fryer now.

Morning!
Had a nice visit with DD#3's inlaws last night at a cookout, then we all went to Grant's concert and he won an award which made it extra special, then back to DD's for swimming for the kids and wine for the rest of us. Grant spent the night with me as his house is chock full of relatives and he is having a lazy morning which was needed, this last week of school plus relatives in town has about worn him out. Took coleslaw to the cookout and everyone loved it and wanted the recipe, so easy to make with a bag of coleslaw mix from the store and my own dressing. I will post the recipe, it calls for sugar but you could easily put splenda in it. |
