MK: Where I live strawberries should be planted in the week or two after Easter. So it's not to late yet but I'm getting close. Strawberries are one of my favorite foods so my only concern is that I can control myself with all those tasty fresh berries!

Cindy, although I am late!

Yum, strawberries, they are beautiful in our stores right now. Back on the farm in Iowa I had a nice patch of strawberries and we really enjoyed them. When I was pregnant with #3 who was born June 20th, I craved strawberries and I picked them up until the day I went to the hospital, so even pregnant, you can tell I was thin back then. Everyday I picked and ate fresh strawberries, but usually over vanilla ice cream, she does have a peaches and cream complexion, hmmm, wonder if that is why?

Picking Grant (12) up from school today to go get his allergy shot, then take him for a snack so he can catch me up on his busy life, then off to meet my dinner club gals for mexican.

Need to do a couple of loads of laundry in between.

Ohhh fresh strawberries over ice cream, or yogurt, or shortcake was a daily occurrence when I had a strawberry patch when I was a teen. I was big into 4H and I had a huge garden in the backyard for various projects. I would go out to pick a bowl of berries for the house and it would always be one for the bowl, one for me, one for the bowl, one for me. My mom used to wonder why such a big patch didn't seem to produce more.

Genovese, an Italian restaurant on Massachusetts in downtown owned by a Nepalese gentleman that helped organize our medical mission to Nepal. He also owns Zen Zero and La Parilla, both in Lawrence so we are going to check them out also. I had lobster ravioli and wine, lots of wine!

I know what you mean about cats and noise. We have "crinkly bag" and they boys love it.

Crazy day today!
Exercise, errands, lunch with a friend, mulch shoveling, more errands, walk with a friend and made a great salmon for dinner!
Cleaned up after dinner, and sitting down.
Tired.

Going to bed soon so I can get up early, go to exercise by 7:45, then off to a meeting at 9:30, home by 11:30 waiting for my friend from KC to arrive..(I made chicken salad already)..and have lunch. I need to sweep off the front porch..Lots of things flying around out here.

I love Agatha Christie. My goal is to read all her books. I downloaded the extensive list and I am checking them off. I will have to use interlibrary loan to get some of them.

I'm walking today and then working around the house!
Finally a day at home! Yay!

Kids are coming home tonight..Dh arrives at midnight..He didn't take his keys, so I'll have to let him in..LOL..I guess.
