Does this really work?
I do well on a lower carb diet; I was told by a cardiologist that I was eating too much protein and it was putting stress on my kidneys.
I would love to hear some success stories.... |

I see a very good kidney doctor, and he doesn't think protein intake has anything to do with kidney problems. that is an old idea, I think. he does recommend that people with kidney disease limit red meat to one serving a week.

Barry has written several articles on how you shouldn't depend on protein for energy on a LC diet..it should be a good portion of fat.
His website is Second Opinion UK. There are lots of good articles there. |

Can I really lose weight with that much fat?
I have always used "too much" fat. I like mayo on my tuna, I used to use waaayyy too much dressing on salads, I like my coffee light...
Does this really work for weight loss? I would just try it myself instead of asking, but I don't want to put on any more weight! |
