Gonna try this again!
The last time I tried Atkins, I got sick of eggs, cheese, butter and pork rinds! haha. I know that there HAS to be an easier way to do low carb! I've heard of some people losing weight just by omitting bread, pasta, potatoes and processed foods. So it HAS to be do-able, right! I would appreciate any ideas and help here. Thank you!

Absolutely....Fresh veggies and meats are the way to go..
Have you read the Atkins book? That is so helpful..also Barry Groves' Natural Health and Weight Loss is great too. |

It's tough at first...
Yes, it can be as easy as avoiding bread, pasta, potatoes, sugar & processed food. I stayed in induction trying to keep my carbs under 20g/day & reached my goal weight. I read lots of articles on Google about substitutions for my cravings. I eat cheese when I want a snack. Also protein drinks for my chocolate fix. I still weigh myself every morning to stay within 2-3 lbs. of my goal weight. I used to go a couple wks w/o losing any weight, but then would lose 2-3 & this kept on over the months. No other diet has worked. I'm 45 yrs. old & only 5 ft. tall, so excess weight really shows on me. I had to convince myself that if I wanted to lose weight there were just certain foods that I could not eat anymore.

Haunt the day-of-sale mark-downs on meat at the grocery, add exotic veggie you have always been curious about, add butter/cream/cheese, enjoy
