Well, I am up to 154 from August 1..but better than July 1..LOL..
Buffy..thanks..it is sad to die so young..

Off to a meeting, then the last session of our Made to Crave study, then visiting a new young gal engineer in town.

Welcome to September!

I'm about the same as the beginning of last month - so claiming 120.0 as my September weight.

I was 115.8 last year! Wonder how i can get that back?!

Carolyn - I'm so sorry about your brother's friend.

I've walked and FINALLY finished all the weeding in the garden that i had neglected all summer!

*phew*

I have a marketing meeting at the HS today and a variety of errands.

BBL!

I guess I didn't post an Aug 1 weight? Anyway today it was 152.2. I'll have to go back and look at Weight Commander and check my Aug. 1 weight.
Ok the day before we left on vacation which would've been July 30 I was at 152.6 so I guess I had a teensy tiny loss this month. I feel like I'm treading water, lol.

Hi..

Down a pound, Cindy..Do you split your 3 grains???

Why is it so hard to lose weight when you are over 35? LOLOL..or should I say, 36???

Saw ds for dinner..He is going to volunteer at the boxing place. It is to keep the kids off the streets and it also has some tutoring..He will be helping with workouts several
nights after work. This is a good thing for him..He went there while he was living at home during the noon hour.

Dh is heading home from Ireland tomorrow..Then we leave for KC til Sunday, then on Tuesday he leaves again for the South East.

Morning!

Cooler weather in our forecast, another day or two of over 100 and then in the 90's next week, that sounds sooo good.

It has been a quiet week around here, which has been nice but gives me nothing to chat about

What is everyone planning for Labor Day weekend? We don't have anything planned as yet.

Cleaning our HQs for selling Neewollah tickets today..We have no working bathroom because of a leak, so hopefully this will be fixed in a month when we open.. Then I worked out..I'm tired.

We are heading for KCity to see Beth and Shawn..Brett will come to because his gfriend will be in CO with her parents..Gary needs a new phone..

It looks like Sunday will open up for cooler weather..like in the 80's next week..Hurrah!

Generally 2 grains in the am and 1 at lunch. I would like to do 1-1-1 but always forget if there is 3 times a day.

Hi gals..

Heading for KC as soon as the boys get over here..Dh got home last night and slept normally so maybe he will be back to Central time all week.. instead of going to be at 7 p.m.

Yeah, for hometown football teams that win..I guess our team won 27-0 when they played Iola..

Weight was UP..grumble, grumble..

Have a great weekend everyone..

Yay for DH! Maybe you can have a conversation with him after dinner now!

I'm bagging up all my size 10's - they're going to the Salvation Army on Tuesday!

Morning,
That sounds good MK, I assume in favor of your smaller sizes?

I need to sort out clothing again, just to get rid of the things I don't wear and make room in my closets so things don't get so crammed in and wrinkled. And, I do not need any more clothes, geez. But, BF and I are going shopping in the morning, soooo

going to DGS's baseball game at 5:00, he hit 2 home runs yesterday and I told him that if it was cooler I would come today, think it is supposed to be cooler but must check. I just cant sit out there in 100 degree heat anymore.

Then on Thurs. I head to Austin to keep little Oliver for a couple of days so this will be a short week.

Have fun in KC Carolyn, and wave at Sandy for me too. Cindy, good job on the loss this month.

Buffy - yes, smaller sizes!! If I'm really brave I'll get rid of the 8's too!!
Baby steps! LOL!!

DH once told me before i bought anything new, I should get rid of something old - I told him I'd miss him!
(I had to say it! It was just too easy!)

No Carolyn, we've never been but I actually just told DH this morning that we should try it soon. It's close to my favorite Catholic bookstore/gift shop too!

We had a wonderful weekend. We went to Knucklehead's Sat. to listen to some music and then to the Irish Fest Sunday around 1 p.m. We met up with our OOT friends and went down to El Patron for a late lunch/early dinner. We ate on the rooftop patio and just enjoyed the wonderful weather. Then we headed back down to the Irish Fest for the rest of the night. Our DD, DSIL, DGS, his finance and of course Baby Colton came down too. The baby loved watching all the people and there were a lot of children there too. He had a great time before falling asleep in his stroller. I put pics up on FB. We stayed downtown at the Westin hotel and got up and went to breakfast this morning before heading home to recuperate, lol. DH forgot his glasses in the hotel though so about an hour after we got home we had to turn around and go back. Ugh! Oh well, thank goodness they had them, I guess.

I hate to get on the scale tomorrow for sure. My DGD went for a fitting for her bridesmaids dress Sunday and they have to totally alter the whole thing. She's lost 47 pounds doing LC!! She told them that she was losing weight when she first went to get the dress, but the seamstress told her "everybody tells us that and nobody ever does it". I need her to give me some inspiring words to get by rear in gear!! Oh and she eats what she wants every Sunday! Of course, she's only 22!!

Tomorrow I have lunch with friends and then dinner theater, so not a good start to my eating this week, lol.

Hi ladies..

Sandy: You will love it..The prices are really reasonable..and the peeps are very nice.
Oh..that is wonderful about your dgd..47 pounds..She should join LCF's..and being young
is certainly an advantage..

Tomorrow dh leaves at 6:15..I have to drive him to the local airport, but I still have to get up. I should just go exercise after that..My friend would probably drop if I showed up at 6:30..lOL.

Hmmm..I made some little LC cheesecakes for tomorrow's Bible Study kick-off..Oh..they were good, but I should have used foil papers..I think the paper ones
will be a bit soggy..

I think DGD is a bit too busy with college and work to add LCFs to her list but someday she probably will join.

Carolyn, how did you end up liking your Bible study on weight?

I stayed the same weight wise over the whole weekend. It's a miracle!!! Lol. Probably all the walking and dancing helped.

Well, Made to Crave was pretty good, but she focused on eating "healthy" only and not
having cheats.. My group thought that portion control was more of an issue that needed to be addressed..Eating when hungry, stopping when satisfied..and a little cheat wouldn't kill you..

Yeah for staying the weight.

It is amazing how much you can do when you get up at 5:15..LOL

Hi Everyone!

Been on the boards for about 1 1/2 years and it's been very informative. After much success on Medi Weight Loss and keeping 42+ pounds off all this time, I'm finding it has been far from easy to go back and finish what I started as I was 10 pounds from my goal. That's the way it is when you don't have as much to lose anymore. The last 10 is always the most difficult plus the 10 I gained. I am fascinated with this woe. I have the latest book, NHWL, but wish there were a chapter designated to meal plan ideas. Is there a thread on this site dedicated to that and solely recipes? I've scoured the book and this site and can't find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Continued luck and success to all!
