I think nothing really helps for allergies..I do think that is what ds and dh have although they might protest..They are really bad right now..Claritin plus is okay, but not perfect.
AKK..Going through boxes, Buffy??

My kids still have some stuff around here, too..Even Beth..

Out to dinner at the newer restaurant in the next town over. Unless the boys feel too bad to go..

Early morning!

I slept almost all of yesterday and last night but woke up about 3:00 this morning and finally felt a little more rested. Head still feels funny, allergy feeling. Have some antibiotics left that I will take, see if that helps. For some reason, I can't take claritin anymore and I have to stay away from all the D ones b/c of high blood pressure. Every spring and fall I just know I have a few weeks I have to suffer and I hate it. Right when the weather is the prettiest. I am sure the getting out and walking helped aggravate the allergies but I need that so badly, I am going to try to keep it up, if I can't, will go to the mall and walk I guess.

Hope I feel like getting something done today. There are always things to be done.

Hi everybody, enough of my bellyaching!!!

Well, dh and ds sold their souls for real Sudafed at Wallie's last night..Luckily, they don't have high blood pressure and dh seems to think it is kicking in..

Not much going on..Had coffee at the shop with dh..he is going to work but be home for
the KState game on tv at 2:30..Who knows how they will do..

I just vacuumed out 2 cars - phew.

This morning I staged an initiation for Tri Psi's (the mothers of Tri Deltas). We had a good time, ate some cookies, planned some times to help the girls with fund-raisers and buy them pizza before finals.

But there is SO MUCH I need to do around here!

Instead, I'm going out to dinner tonight with my "young" friends.
The oldest is 10 years younger than I am! They all have young kids, so I'm actually the "voice of experience"!
But we all worked in Marketing/Event Planning at the newspaper together and still like each other.
Wow - I left that job almost 10 years ago!

Hope you're all having a good weekend!

Weighed..I was 154..The lady who owns my exercise place is getting serious about WL..Her goal is 40ish pounds by April. I should join her..then I would have more accountability..I just would like to lose 15..But, this is like shaving a rock..LOL

Yes Carolyn, that would be wonderful to have a partner in your WL. I wish I could find somebody to diet and exercise with. I still have the baby today but I think he can go back to daycare tomorrow.

I got my hair cut while his gma took him back to the Dr. today. I got about 4 inches chopped off. Now it's a chin length bob! I really like it too.

Hi gals..

I haven't approached her about joining her in my WL journey, because then I would have to make a huge serious commitment..LOL..Yes, all of us are "gentle" with each other on the weight loss subject...I like that.

ohh...was the baby sick, Sandy? I hope he is feeling better.

I'm sure your hair looks cute..Tomorrow is my hair cut day. Now, should I dye my hair tonight or wait til after the cut? Anyone???

I always try to dye about a week before so in case there's any on my neck they don't find it, lol. But I also hate to go in w/all my gray showing, so ????

MK, I've worn my hair this way for years. I just had let it grow out the last year or so. So it's not really anything "new and exciting", lol. In fact I put an old pic on my phone to show my gal how short I wanted it. I still almost had to twist her arm to make that first cut!
Funny, when DGS came to pick up the baby he didn't even notice!! I wonder if DH will? It's way shorter so if he doesn't he's gonna be in big trouble, lol.

Yes, the baby had an inner and outer ear infection and it was painful as well. He's quite a bit better today. The ped cleaned his ear out too and said he has tiny canals and waxy ears. He also changed his antibiotics from what the walk in clinic had prescribed Sunday. Hopefully he'll be all better by morning.

I have bunco tonight and I'm really looking forward to hanging out with some adults for a few hours. And tomorrow I need to start getting all my stuff organized for my trip next week.

Oh...Those inner ear infections are so bad for little guys..Do you think he will have to do the tubes sometime???

I forgot where you were going this time, Sandy? Mexico/California/Florida..???

Well, I have dye on my hair..I will make sure I "clean up" before I see my hairdresser..LOL

I have to tell you my little adventure..As you know, I am my son's laundress..So, this morning I was taking the clothes back to his apartment..I was walking up the stairs, and there was a cell phone there with a note saying this person found this cell, etc...Well, guess whose cell it was?? Yup..Mr. Brett..He dropped in the grass last night after boxing
mentoring and some kind person found it. He was slightly relieved..and it is a nice neighborhood..

I'm going to Isle of Palms SC with some girlfriends. I'm really looking forward to it too.

Yes DH noticed my hair as did the manager at our local Mexican place. So it's a good thing DH did notice, right?

I had too much sugar at bunco last night and I had the most awful time trying to get to sleep when I got home. I hate that! Hopefully lesson learned. Ha!

Carolyn, that was so nice of Brett's neighbor!! Small towns are still great!

Tons to do today so I don't feel swamped tomorrow and Friday. I have a list so I'll just take it one thing at a time.

Morning!
Must be hair time, I had cut/color last Friday. I am calico now, so any color matches mine
DD#2 came out Monday afternoon with the 3 yo and the 1 yo, I was tired after 4 hours but they are fun, the house is still a mess and 3 yo spent the night, then I had to take him back home yesterday morning as he goes to preschool at noon.

Sandy, hope Colton will be over the ear infection soon, they get those so easily it seems. Both of DD#2's little ones have had to have tubes but it did really stop the infections.

Your trip with the gfriends sounds great, I love to travel with other gals, it is lots of laughter and good times.

Carolyn, did you decide on the WL journey with your friend? I find it harder and harder to stick to anything as I get older, I just feel like I am old and entitled to do whatever I want, Bad of me!
The SS guy called you at 7:00 AM? What on earth was he thinking although you are an early riser I think, but he must have been in an office on the east coast? It is a pleasure seeing that check plop into your account each month, very welcome too.

Cindy, my aunt kept every piece of paper that ever touched her hands I think, even through several moves after my uncle died. When my cousins went through her things they even gave me items that related to my mother and our grandmother which were nice to have. I don't keep as many things like that as I should and my kids are even worse, they all hate clutter and really throw out a lot of things I think they will regret later. I would love to have a personal item of my brother's but that won't happen with the now non-relationship I have with his widow, bless her heart

Hi MK, what's our little busy beaver up to today?

I think I am going to be home all day, have been fighting with allergies and they just wipe me out, so when I have been home this past week I am very lazy. Every spring and every fall, I get so tired of allergies.

Forgot to tell you all that Oliver took his first steps Sunday, he was standing by the refrigerator and took his hand off it and took 3 steps to Mommy. 9 months! I had predicted he would walk early as he has crawled, stood up and walked around things early and is raring to go all the time. He is going to be a busy one. He has a new baby girl cousin who was born emergency c section yesterday, but 5lb, 1 oz, so should be ok. This is my DDIL's younger sister.

Hi ladies..

Had a busyday and its still not over..Making dinner for a new baby's families..Actually, I got a Braum's lasagne, some Braum's cheese bread and some Braum's ice cream sandwiches..I'm sure it will be fine..Heating up as we speak. Then a 6 oclock meeting for selling Neewollah tix..Then home..

Sandy: Sounds like a great place to vacation and with gfs, no less.. More freedom and shopping than when the dhs come along, I think..

Oh Oliver!!! Sign him up for soccer..How cute is that..His poor parents..

Tomorrow I will get a flu shot...at Walgreen's..Thanks for the reminder.

How close is your mom to you now, MKay???
