I'm melting as we speak......but I forgot to weigh this morning.

Morning,
Didn't end up going to a movie, got out of the mood I guess.

Almost forgot to post in the new thread.

I haven't been on the scale for probably a month, clothes fit the same so expect the weight is the same.

3 days to get things done to be ready to go on my next Mema gig, this one to Austin to keep little Ollie for a couple of days. I am so ready to see him again.

Need to go to DD#2's house, she has some books on Itune that she will dload to my Iphone, I am out of books to listen to and need a good one for the trip to Austin.

Hi ladies..

I am claiming 153 for my monthly weigh-in weight..

I was up over the weekend and down today..Four pounds of water/fat gone..(hopefully forever).

Mema...I'm exhausted..Definitely need books to listen to on the way to Austin. Does the TX state library have free books for download like the KS state library does????

Got Brett's internet hitched up..Came home to say goodbye to Rachel..Her car wouldn't start..(dead battery), so I figured out the jumper cables, gave her a jump, car started and I lead her to the Auto Zone where she got a new battery..Girl power, I told her...LOL Just remember positive to positive and negative to negative..LOL..

Just watered my tomatoes and they "thanked me", but I am hoping I will get a fall crop..

I was 152 this morning..I'm afraid to say anything to jinx my weight loss..

Did my exercise..Ladies coming over to discuss our 3rd session of Made to Crave.

Morning everyone.

Well, we are now in our "hottest" month of the year and then it starts the cooling off period, I am so glad. I can make it till then.

Office work today and start to get around to get my upper GI done on Thurs. and go to Austin later that day. I guess Ollie started saying mamamamama, I told DS he is asking for mema, haha.

Not much other news, I did finally get on the scale and weight remaining the same without doing anything, so if I tried, I could lose but not in the mood right now to do anything but coast along.

It was 106 here..Ds likes his job..2 days in. They work from 7 to 3:30, so that works for Brett..Of course, his old dad works from 8 to 6 at the same place..LOL..That is the Sales Department..

No Carolyn, don't have to swallow anything. This is just a routine check, I have had reflux/gerd for so long I went to see a Dr. about getting a procedure done to stop it and he was surprised I had never had one, plus, this is the first step to see if I am a candidate for the procedure. I am so tired of taking the meds for it and still having problems at times.

Laundry/office work today.

Continued heat here, really hot now, getting up towards 110 each day. No rain in sight.

Glad Brett is liking his new job, hours sound great, gives him a nice long evening. Poor dad, not so much. If Gary is in sales it explains all the traveling he does. I think so anywhoos.......

I wonder what procedure they do on ya..Dh has acid reflux from time to time..

Good so far today..I bought jumbo eggs..LOL..and one made a good breakfast with some cheese.

Hi I am new to this board, but want to join all the support. I weigh on mondays at TOPS and was 197.0. That is good for me because I just started LCing again and weighted 200 at home on Friday. I re-read EFGT again, I think I am not getting enough good carbs. I love meat and find that I can make a meal of just that. I need to get in more veggies and even a piece of fruit (once in while).

Hi Deb..Welcome...

Yup, you could be eating too much protein, which does turn into carbs..Like 58 percent of the protein turns into glucose..Not good. Figure out your protein requirements..Most women should take in between 70-80 grams a day..That is about 10 ounces of protein spread out the whole day. Use ****** - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to figure out your carbs/fats/protein..

We actually got 1/2 inch of rain last night..

I was 153 this morning..

Making chicken (tater) salad tonight..Pretend the cooked chicken breast meat is potato, then make your tater salad..

Got some nice tomatoes from a farmer, too..

who watered his plants daily.

We got a light shower today and it is cool. Maybe 80. I may be mowing tomorrow.

And I DID have a small zit!! Luckily I had a hair/brow appointment and the esthetician zapped it for me and by evening it was gone!! AND she didn't even charge me! I guess all that whining paid off!

Got back last night from my nanny gig with Ollie, what a little happy baby he is, he was so good and easy to keep, just have to watch every moment as he is very very busy exploring and although not walking yet, he walks around everything and pulls up to everything. I predict walking by 9 months for him. Great to be with DS and DDIL too.

Now, getting ready to take a little jaunt with DH, he has a small job out of state and wants me to ride along. I kind of want to go and kind of want to stay home since I just got back, but, I will go along.

Still beastly hot and dry, dry, dry here. Praying for rain.
