I saw your sweet baby on facebook...He is really growing, Sandy..My goodness..Boys seem to fill out faster than girls..

Gosh..I felt crooked today, so went to the chiro..Back still hurt a bit and in my right thigh.Two other ladies had the same thing..One lady called her doctor son and he said it was a virus going around..So, I took some tylenol and it seems to help..Hmmm..

Ate Chinese out..small luncheon plate today with 9 of my BStudy ladies..Salad for dinner for this gal.

Hope you are all okay..Gary does need a new phone for sure.

LOL..I have a bad disc in my back that is a bit crooked..LOL.anyway..The virus made me hurt ..sore thigh..The tylenol really helped..

I had a muscle virus in my shoulder once so I know they happen.

Sandy, did the kids find a day care for Colton yet? You are being so sweet to keep him but I know it is tiring and the longer you keep him the more they will assume that it is ok. And, we do get attached, don't we

I am headed back to Austin on the 8th to keep my little Oliver for a couple of days and really looking forward to seeing my little guy.

Nothing planned for today other than the usual and tomorrow I get to go have a tooth filled, so not a very exciting week around here. Finished listening to Pillars of the Earth and now starting "Run" by Ann Patchett. Also started Tina Fey's "BossyPants" for when I want some laughter.

I made some baked butternut squash fries last night, which were very good but I got them way too salty, had to try to scrape the salt off.

I think they've found day care but not sure when they're starting it. They're getting married on the 17th and then will be gone for a week so IDK if they're starting before or after they get back. They haven't asked me to watch him longer than this week but I'm thinking that might be coming soon. I'm going to tell them I'll help but I need them to find somebody else that will help too. I'm getting very tired. I always hate to admit I'm aging, but this babysitting really makes me feel it!!

Oh, I agree on those babies..they are exhausting that is why God lets younger peeps have them..

Oh..I'm sure you are happy for their wedding and that they found a good daycare, etc..

Buffy: A tooth filled?? Yikes. I am hoping my old fillings hang in there..I have a mouthful of fillings from my childhood when they didn't put fluoride into anything..My kids never had a cavity..

I think Pillars of the Earth is on Instant Netflix..

Yikes, ladies, tomorrow is September 1st..Name????? anyone?

It was good!

I have old fillings too. Fingers crossed they never need to be changed!

OK, I just found out, I guess the baby starts daycare Tuesday! There's another little baby boy about his age there too so he'll have a pal. I pray it's the perfect place for him.

Yes, the parents really have to pay attention and make surprise visits at some of those centers..Good thing he has a little friend..already.

Oh..didn't want to put this on our new thread..My baby brother called tonight and his best friend died..

of a sudden heart attack. Of course, my bbrother is 55, but Roger was in my class in highschool (62). He and his wife travelled with my brother and his wife and they were such good friends. I'm sure that shook Brad up.. Prayers for the Brooks family, please.
