Is it OK to eat baby spinach salad if that's your only carb of the day?
Lately, I've been craving more greens and want to just dive into a big bowl of organic baby spinach with homemade fatty ranch dressing. I also need to cook up a bunch of fresh green beans to which I'll add bacon grease.
Are these OK on EFGT? These would be eaten for lunch or for dinner. The other meals/snack would be fats. |
2. Reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates . . .
You can eat as much as you want of any meat, fish, poultry, cheese, cream, butter, eggs – indeed anything that is high in proteins and fats and low in carbohydrates. You can eat as much as you like of green leafy vegetables: cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, celery, and so on. Does this mean it's OK to eat a big salad made of baby spinach and avacado? Are green beans OK? |
Absolutely...Green veggies are the best buck for your carb allowance..Subtract the fiber out and you barely have any, but it is good to always "count"..
