You are the bravest person I know..

What is Tom doing with his mom's stuff?? That is the hardest part..where to put it?

Sandy: Yup, 9 hours of driving pooped him out..But the good thing is that he will have an extra 2 hours of sleep..He usually is a "list" maker..but not this time, I guess.

Hope it is cool for you in CO..

Made the best fake tater salad with white chicken meat. I got the Tyson grilled chicken meat in the refrigerated section..Added green onion, bacon,
celery, hard boiled eggs, and mayo..It is a great salad..and easy, peasey.
Of course for a crowd, you need more chicken and would probably use
the raw stuff and cook it..

Carolyn, the 4 kids are splitting the keepsakes and the other stuff with no sentamental value is going to auction. I also want to make the faux potato salad. I made it a year or so ago but the chicken sounds like a good idea.

Yup, that is a good idea..We did the same thing, but sold the other stuff at a garage sale.

Ds has an interview at the company where his Dad works..The President has been after him to interview for a new engineering job. He never wanted to because it's here..LOL
Well, there is another engineering job and he is interviewing on Monday. I think it is interesting...We'll see...

....anyone disappointed in the Casey Anthony trial results? I am..Didn't want the death penalty, but certainly wanted justice done..It's all about those 12 jury members.

Yes, I was. I'm glad I wasn't a juror but I do NOT feel like justice was done at all.

Today is my dad's birthday. I'm making him dinner and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. I actually might make that strawberry refrigerator cake instead. It tastes the same to me and is easier to serve. And sometimes shortcake is dry and takes tons of berries!

They said they were split 6/6 on manslaughter and they have to unanimous. I thought the outcome was horrendous!

Oh, major DC17 woos. She had an "episode" so I took her to the vet and her blood pressure is 210 systolic (the top number, they don't measure the bottom number in cats) so she is on blood pressure meds. Also she is hyperthyroid and that probably caused her hypertension so she is on a med that suppresses thyroid (this is common in old cats).....and she is on 2 meds for arthritis. She has officially moved from assisted living to skilled nursing!

Dinner was good and the cake was a giant hit. I'm tired. And I ate too much. I hope it doesn't show up too much on the scale.

I hadn't heard that about the manslaughter. I wonder why they couldn't agree on that at least?

Hi ladies..

Oh...Cindy, your poor little kitteh..I'm sure she will fine soon..She is indeed skilled care. Alex just has a visiting nurse (me) who delivers his meds twice a day..or rather a live-in nurse.

Please pray for a young couple in our church..She is a nurse, Amber and her dh is a probation officer..They are having a C-section at 6:30 tonight to deliver their 4 pound little boy. Low fluid around the baby and Amber needs her gallbladder out. If the little guy is too small, they will airlift him to Joplin, MO.
Thanks for your prayers..Amber looked so "small" to be pregnant, but some peeps carry babies differently.

Was up to 156..

Update: Kolton was born weighing 3 lbs. 10 ounces..He will be in the baby intensive care for only a week..Mom is doing great. This was a miracle. He scored 9 out of 9.

You know, when you said 4 pounds, my first thought was we have delivered 1 1/2 pounders that have done fine......way down the road but have done fine. 4 pounds is good size for our hospital.

Another baby Kolton, only with a "K". I'm glad he's doing well. I have a new great nephew who was born last week. He's still in NICU awaiting results of a spinal tap. If it comes back neg, they think he can go home very soon. I know it was very hard on my niece to have to leave him there but she also has an 8 year old at home. They of course go up there all the time.

I got Just Walk It Out by Wii..It is a walking tape, but fun cuz you make an island with your steps..I made a suspension bridge with 500 steps..

Hi ladies..

Brett is having his luncheon interview with the President..I just had coffee with his wife and Gary is taking a trip with him tonight, so I'm hoping he will get the job..

I was still 156 this morning, but dh will be gone all week, so hopefully, I can get this eating under control..2 good meals down, one to go..LOL.

MK: Let me know about your arch supports. I don't really want to wear socks with mine, but I hate the sweaty feet syndrome. Although, you can throw these in the washer..Glad you are home....and happy you had a nice trip.

Hope everyone is doing okay and keeping cool..
