Morning!

I was 120.4 yesterday - haven't weighed yet today, but I may be claiming that as my starting weight!

OK - found my stats from last month:

I started March at 121.0, so I guess I've lost a little, but I started February at 119, so I've been gaining too much!!

It's time to "stop fooling around"!!

Morning!
I didn't weigh. Not sure when that will happen again.

Sandy, I know exactly what you mean about having your 12 YO DGD, I have so totally gotten into my empty nest routine that even though I have DGS a lot, I still like my time being totally my own. And, like your DGD, he is no bother, in fact, there are times he is here that he is so quiet, I forget he is here . But, I would hate not having any of them to come visit and be with me. When I keep the 2 little ones, it is usually just easier for me to go to their house where all their things are.

Have a busy day today with fun things, mani/pedi at 9:00, a facial and makeover this afternoon. Happy hour and an early dinner with a friend, then we are going to Kohl's to hit a sale there, I want to get some things for little Oliver and hope to get down to see him next week. Yikes, that boy is already wearing 12 mo onsies! He is long and has uh, really big feet, so thinking he might outdo his daddy who is 6'2".

MK, you did good girl!

Carolyn, that is too bad about another guy in your town having a heart attack, just found out my BIL in Iowa had a heart attack on Sat., no damage but they put a stent in one artery. He was lucky!

Cindy, you are organized to already know where you are going on your birthday, , or just very hungry for mexican....

Ok, I decided to go ahead and post my real starting weight for April 1.

147.2

It's a miniscule drop from Mar 1weight of 147.6 but still up a bit from pre-vacation. But with summer and more revealing summer clothes right around the corner, I really do need to stop fooling around so, here I go again.

You know, that's one of the things I love so much about EFGT and this thread. You can jump right back into full throttle and see good results and know that you always have friendly support to back you up. Thanks!

Hey, Sonic has Chicago style dogs now. You could order one with a fork and pitch the bun.

Pizza!!! I love Chicago style pizza! My very favorite!

Well, if any of you have been to the Playground, you will know my DC16 knocked a glass over on my computer and I am hoping it isn't fried. The lid was closed so the battery may be fried. Hopefully not the rest. She has had this fascination with water glasses lately. She try's to get her head in them to drink even though I clean her water dish daily.. "Found" water is best tasting, don't ya know!

DC17 (18 in Sept.!) only drinks from a running sink. There has been a sink running for 17 years!

Oh, BTW, I started taking 7-Keto DHEA from Now Foods (from Netrition). 100mg with breakfast, 100mg with lunch. OMG, the increase in energy is amazing. I am very surprised! It doesn't raise your estrogen/testosterone/DHEA levels but does increase metabolism and thermogenisis. I'm skeptical of claims but it actually works and it's inexpensive. 7-Keto DHEA is different from DHEA so look at it. I'll keep reporting.

Oh..Cindy..That is so interesting about the 7-Keto DHEA..I'll have to see if my hfstore carries it..

What we do for our kittehs...Running water.. Big water bill? Oh..you so need to get her a fountain from Petco..It's a basin with a little spout of water coming out..My cat didn't like it, but my friend's cats loved it when I gave it them.

Morning!
Lucky on the computer Cindy, water and computers don't mix well.

Our cats love their fountain, we are on our second one. But, have had one for years, they do last a long time.

2 ballgames, lunch with a friend and a quick run to a store with her are on the schedule today. Probably will only do 1 ballgame, instead of sitting through 2. Looks like it is going to be warm and windy.

Warm and windy here too. DD is fixing me dinner for my BD. We always do the dinner on the weekend before or after. Braised short ribs, Barefoot Contessa recipe, with polenta, fresh green beans and caesar salad and rolls. I'm most looking forward to the ribs. I made that recipe once before and they were fantastic!! So rich and tender. Yummmm. I hope we don't have big storms by then. Ugh!

Hi ladies..

Dh made it home and is adjusting to his time warp..7 hours difference..LOL..He is going away on Wednesday to Hotlanta so I have to do some washing..

Oh...I wish my Alex liked the fountain..but no..He stared at it..Methinks he was too old
for it.

Warm and windy here, too..Oh..that birthday dinner sounds wonderful...I need to start
making short ribs..I avoid them...

hope MK had a fun Chicago weekend.

We had a great weekend in Chicago visiting Loyola!
I think DS18 will be happy there.

I have some pics on my IPhone if I can figure out how to get them off it!

Gorgeous here too!
80 today!

Carolyn - I need the LC lemon bar recipe!!

Cindy - that's so interesting!! How did you hear about DHEA?

Sandy - do you have storms yet?

Buffy - I've never tried a fountain with my cats!!

Yes storms here tonight. DGD got caught in bad storms on the way back to school but she finally made it safe and sound. Very scary!

The short ribs were fantastic and so rich you don't need to eat very much. Very high fat so good for our WOE. Minus the polenta of course, lol.

Mary Kay, I read a book called The Diet Cure. It is based on cravings caused by amino acid deficiencies . They gave quite a few case studies on 7-keto DHEA and most people noticed big difference. More energy more mental clarity increased metabolism. I'll keep reporting.

Morning!

Cindy - I'm anxious to hear - I could use help with all of those!

It's raining here - one of those great Spring storms with thunder!!

I was up an hour early!
DH's clock, the one I can see easily from my side, automatically changes to DST. And it still thinks it should have been last Saturday, not the new one!
So this morning I look at the clock and get up.
When I get to the kitchen to feed the dog, I see it's 5:00am, not 6:00am . . . .

It's going to be a long day!

Hi.

MK: Is that Gino's East??? Looks wonderful..I think your ds will love Loyola and so close to downtown, too... and the beautiful lake..

My hfs has the Keto, so I'm heading down there tomorrow after Bible Study when it isn't so windy.

Had a Newcomer's coffee at our local coffee shop..I just had a cafe breve..yummy..It's like $4.00..but I'm worth it.

Trying a snoring spray from Wallie's for Gary tonight. We will see how it works.

This is a big cleaning week for me as ds and his gf are coming on Friday..But, I will wait
til Thursday to do the last minute stuff..No sense cleaning twice..LOL..

We had some storms last night, but no trees down..Spring in KS, IL, and MO is always
an adventure..And TX, too.. Can you say Tornado Alley???

I will do some experimenting with the LC lemon bars after this weekend..Those HC ones
called for 2 cups of sugar..As I was cutting them, a few crumbs appeared..SO sweet..
eew,...But they are all gone thanks to my HC friends.
