Cindy - that looks fabulous!! I Giordanos!!!

Carolyn - yep - no need to clean twice!!

Took the dog to the vet - he has to have surgery!
A mass in his right armpit and something on his eyelid.
Joy!
I told them to clean his teeth while he was under.
We still have to schedule the surgery.

MK, I'm sorry about your dog. How old are they? What does the vet think the lump is?

Morning!

Cindy - the lump feels soft, so hopefully just a fatty mass.
He's 9 or 10 years old. I keep forgetting!
He's a Doberman mix, so a big dog, but hasn't slowed down at all.

Who won, Carolyn? I haven't seen the paper yet!

It's mobile? I mean, it's not firmly attached? When you grab it, you can get it to move with the skin instead of it staying put? That is common with lipomas, which are benign.

Hi gals..

UConn won...The old coach.. They did play better than Butler..

Tomorrow's project is to organize the closet in the guest room for Rachel..Wash the comforter, etc..Then shut the door as Alex loves to sleep under the comforter during
the day and she is allergic to kittehs..sort of. He is getting a bath on Thursday morning, too..Busy week.

I got some 7-Keto and I will try one tab in the a.m.

Biggest Loser tonight..

Today was a "dad" day and tomorrow is another one. But I did get some errands done plus a little cleaning and even some reading! So a good day overall. And I only ate protein and fats so far except for a tiny bowl of ceasar salad. I need to see about that 7 keto stuff too. I could always use more energy. I've gotten pretty lazy lately especially sleeping in in the a.m.

Cindy - I think it was . . . . now I'm afraid to grab it again in case it isn't!

Sandy - hope you have a good "dad day"!

Carolyn - I hope she's not too allergic!

Great day!
Fun meeting this morning, great 6 mile hike (except for stepping into a puddle ) and a nice evening!

Remind me of this when i have a bad one!

caring children..

I'll let you know on the 7-Keto..I got the 100 ones, so I think I'll take one in the a.m. and see what happens.

A 6 mile hike.. Good girl.

Cindy - I was going to call today and set it up - I wasn't sure how long he'd need for recovery and I'll be gone the week before Easter.

Carolyn - are you feeling peppy yet?

Make sure you use cone-of-shame. Rose ripped her stitches out 4 times before I finally put my foot down and used it. Roses small bump was attached to a bone and ended up being cancer, a fibrosarcoma, which was caught early and shouldn't reoccur. I bet you dog has a lipoma, which is benign..

Hi ladies..

Oh...noes..the Cone of Shame. I remember when naughty little Rose kept tearing at her stitches..

I took 100 this morning and I am kinda peppy..I also had an iced coffee from McD's..so that might have helped too.

Did my exercise, now starting my 3 day cleaning process....Don't want to overdo each day, you know.

Dh is going to Hotlanta for a day..I get my own bed back tonight..

Cindy - I haven't even thought about his recovery, except that i should be there and not leave it to DH!! I'll post a pic of his cone of shame!

We've scheduled it for April 26!

With Rose, we put stepping boxes so she could get to the bed and the sink. God forbid she drink from a dish but in all honesty, with the cone, I don't think she could. She always walked like she was drunk with it on. I would remove it so she could eat and drink but watched her. They sent her home with 3-5 days of oral pain meds but her cancer was attached to the bone and they had to remove a piece of bone. If yours is just soft tissue, they may not send you home with anything but ask.

I am down 2 pounds today. I want to think it is the 7-Keto as I haven't changed anything.

All of a sudden yesterday afternoon I got extremely nauseous and chilled off and on and had a come & go headache. I slept until almost 9 this a.m. and still don't feel "right". I stayed home from Bible study and am hoping it passes quickly. I just can't believe how quick it came over me!!

He's such a big dog, getting on the bed may or may not be a problem. No clue how sore it will be!!

And congrats on the loss!! Keep me posted!!

Hi ladies.

Oh, Sandy..sounds like a you got a bug..Prayers for a quick healing for you..I hate anything to do with the tummy..

MK: I thought you had a little doggie..guess not...I'm sure the surgery will go fine and you have a couple of weeks to prepare..

Cindy: Yeah for you...2 pounds is great. You are taking 3 times as much as I am..so maybe in a few days I will lose 2/3 of a pound..which I would be happy about..

Buffy: You have crazy weeks alot..

The house is almost clean..Just have to wash the kitchen floor and make Rachel's bed
after washing everything..I will shut the door so Alex won't think he can sleep there
during the day.

Dh will be home late tonight, so I can just eat a simple meal..

Morning!

I need to mop the kitchen today - and finish the Family Room!

My hair looked great after yesterday's cut, color, highlight, blowout . . . . 3.5 hours and a loan payment later, I left the salon.

Now I just have to replicate it today!
Always the hardest part.

Today, I have a mani/pedi . . . . It's my pre-Aspen trip/Easter maintenance week!

Hi ladies..

Honestly, I do my hair better than my hairdresser..She makes me look like an older lady..But, I love her cuts..So, I just get a $15 cut and $10 eyebrow makeover and I'm done..Small towns are nice...

I think the house is clean..Got a blueberry muffin mix in case Rachel likes them..

MK: Aspen should be beautiful this time of year..

We are HOT..76 degrees..

Hmm..I think I was about 1/4 pound lighter today..I'll see what tomorrow brings with
my 100 DHEA..

Aspen had snow last week - I'm just hoping for clear skies!

I love my stylist.
She does amazing color and 'young' hairstyles.
And I pay for that too!

Though my brows are only $10 too!

Hi gals! I would like to try to eat more fat... mind if I jump in?

I've low-carbed (Atkins) 60 lbs off and got thin and it was great. But then baby #2 did me in again, and he's 4 now. Last February I took off 30 lbs with Weight Watchers, but I got sick of being hungry and eating tasteless food. I maintained the weight over the summer but the holidays got the best of me and I started gaining a few lbs back.

So I jumped on the bandwagon and did 2 weeks of protein shakes and low-carb meals. I got down to 166lbs and now I'm just eating general low-carb (but real food, no low-carb tortillas or ice cream or anything) I do make the one-minute muffins every couple of days. I've been stalled at 166 for 2 weeks now. I really want to get the scale moving again!!! I desperately want to be 155 (my goal) by the end of May. I know that taking off 11 lbs in two months might be a long shot, but I can hope, right? I honestly would happy to get down to 159 though!!

Quick question- is cream okay, or no dairy? I know I need to get the book and read it, we're just broke right now, so it will have to wait a couple weeks.

Today I had a one-minute muffin and two cups of decaf with 2 tb of heavy cream in each.

So far today-
Cal 700 Carbs 6 Fat 71 Protein 16

Is this looking right?
