Morning Ladies!

Caught the Dr Oz with Gary Taubes on Wednesday...too bad he barely let Gary get a word in edgewise...people might have learned something.

If the AI I watched was the same one in the states, I don't think they said who was going home unless I missed it. There were still 13.

MK-I LOVE Modern Family! We don't get it on TV here so I bought the season. It hilarious!

Sandy- Can't wait to hear the new little one is here, safe and sound!

Chilly, dark, damp day here....yuck!

I realized my calories were barely reaching 1100 so starting to add a little more protein to keep the ratios in a good range. I'm thinking 60 works out OK -puts me between 1200 and 1300. We'll see how that works out. Haven't lost anymore which is Ok. I think I need a new scale and I think I may try cutting back the weighing to every week...if I can, lol!

We went out to dinner after Mass on Wednesday. I got egg foo yung - no sauce and ate half. Was so thirsty from all of the salt in it that I drank a gallon...yes, a gallon of tea yesterday. Feeling much better today!
What is everyone giving up for lent, if applicable? I am giving up bacon. My salad is just not the same!

Have a great weekend!

Hi gals..

Yikes on the tsunami. My niece and her girls are there..Her dh is deployed, so praying for safety. and my dh is in Vancouver, BC..along with Cindy..But, I think they are just having a warning. His hotel is overlooking the bay/river, so he might have to move.

It is sunny and crisp here..

I totally agree about the Oz/Taubes thing...Dr. Oz is like Oprah..he monopolizes the show..

Morning!
Yes, Ali, Modern Family is a funny, funny show. The Middle which comes on right before it, here in the states, is a very good sitcom too.

Wow, Carolyn, that DH gets around, he is a travelin man.

Big day for Sandy, can't wait to hear her news and hope all goes well.

I seldom watch Ophra, Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil for that very reason, although I do agree with some of their views, nobody else gets to voice an opinion. And, I don't agree with a lot of Dr. Oz viewpoints. I hardly ever watch daytime tv.

Going to the mall today to meet a girlfriend and go to Pandora, they have a free bracelet with a $75 purchase event going on and I bought a charm on Monday, they told me if I came back today they would give me my free bracelet, so I will go. They make nice gifts. Have to run by and pick up a bottle of brush cleaner for my makeup brushes, pretty calm day, wouldn't you say? LOL. Need to pay bills before I go and do one more load of laundry.

Hi MK, keep on spinning, jumping, twirling, twisting, stretching, posing, and all the other amazing things you do

Just saw our pastor's darling new baby boy. Brenda had low fluid, too, and he is one beautiful baby. You forget how tiny they are.

Watching the tsunami news..what a scary thing for everyone..Prayers for safety.

Ali - Modern Family is one of my favorite shows!! And i quit giving up things for Lent - I try to do something instead, like exercise 5 days a week or do the Lenten prayers every night.
Bacon would definitely be hard to give up!

You must have been floating from all the tea!

Carolyn - I know - the news is so scary!!
Is your niece OK??

Buffy - I just use a little shampoo on my makeup brushes!

Yes, Colton Stephen. He's so beautiful but so tiny.

This earthquake and tsunami is so scary. One time I'm glad I'm not on a beach some where. Very sad. I'm glad your family is fine Carolyn.

Morning!
Great news on the new baby Sandy. Praise God he is here and healthy, even 8 lb babies too tiny to me, I can only imagine.

Our little Oliver has learned to roll over.

Yes, the news is scary, is that the 4th earthquake since the beginning of the year?

Going to be lazy all weekend I think.

Hi..

Oh...the time change..I will have to make myself a big note..Spring AHEAD is not as much fun as Falling Back..Less sleep. I slept until 9 a.m. this morning..I never do this, so I am preparing myself for tomorrow.

Sad news at our church..A 60 year old man died of a heart attack..They were in Hawaii, just got off the boat after a cruise..He was in great shape physically..So sad.. You just never know, do you?

Oh..I love the name Colton Stephen. Stephen is a family name in our family..brother, uncle, etc.. When are they sending her home?

I was 152 this morning..I want to see 150...soon..Maybe if I stopped eating so much, I would see it...LOL

She'll probably go home Monday if all goes as well as it has been. I went today and got them swaddle blankies and lots of preemie onesies. Nothing they had fit him at all.

Yes, the tsunami that rolled thru Vancouver was a whopping 2"! I couldn't get my iPad to work in Whistler so here I am, home! My friend got some good pics so I am hoping to down load them and post here. We had 30" of snow in 7 days, 19" in 48 hours!! Great skiing!!

Morning
Isn't that how it always is, when they want to stay, you are bored, and when you are wanting to stay, they are tired, or bored and want to go home. I am much more of a night owl than DH so that usually happens to us. If it is family or close friends, we each take our own car so we can stay as long as we each want.

Having a lazy, relaxing weekend which I was more than ready for.

Weight is creeping back down to my set point now that I am home, if I worked a little to help it along it would not be creeping so slowly.

Terrible news on that earthquake.

Hi ladies..

Glad you are home.

Gary drove by Whistler on Thursday night on his way to Vancouver on south..He said it looked like a beautiful place.

MK: 8:30..Oh well..maybe your dh was getting ready to the DST..

DST was crazy..I slept until 9...Skipped SSchool and went to church, they had a chili cook-off..Honestly, some weren't that great..I think everyone likes their chili with a little of sweet and heat..

Back to normal eating tomorrow..

Normal eating????? What's that??? I can't seem to find it anywhere and I don't think it's in my sight either. Not for a couple more days anyway. And my scale is verifying that statement. Ugh.

Morning!

This morning is spin, then my friend seems to be having "birthday week" as all the women from the party last Saturday night are meeting for lunch today - at the same restaurant that catered!

Then I have a few errands and I'll finally be back home.
I can't wait!!

Hooray!
to Colton!
So excited to hear that he is here safe and sound! Congrats!

Yes, that tsunami is so very sad. How does one even begin to cope?

Had a nice weekend. We took a little day trip to the Czech Republic on Saturday to a big open market they have there. Fun, fun! Sunday I cleaned all day then we had some friends over for dinner. Busy weekend but good.

Friday I bought a new scale. It reads about 2lb more than my other one. I took an instant dislike to it! Why can't it ever be the other way around? Oh, look, I weigh 2 lbs less on my new scale! Wouldn't that be nice!?! Still I am down either way today so chugging along well.

Not feeling too hot today. Not much appetite, and just want to sleep. Maybe I'll feel better after some coffee.

Happy Monday!

Hi ladies..

Akk..was up to 153 this morning..Maybe it was that chili, ya think? I think dh is going to try to lose some weight..PTLord..He lost it before by LCing, then I think he started cheating at lunch and on his away trips.. His breakie and dinner are LC..Lunch is a mystery..

MK: Have fun at your luncheon.. You can catch up on what you missed the other night.

Sandy: How far away does your little new ggrandchild live? How long can the new momma stay home from work? It's never long enough..is it?

Ali: Good scales are a must..Don't worry about the 2 pounds up on the scale, it is just
a number and you will be enjoying your scale soon..

It's icky here..Have to go to the chiro, then some WW calls at the jr. college. ..

Hi to Buffy and Cindy....

Morning!
Only 50 degrees here, it was supposed to be warmer, but, the next 4 days are supposed to be pretty warm.

My scale remained the same this morning, I think I was too busy all weekend to overeat.

One thing I do like about the new scales is that they are usually very accurate, unlike the olden days when you could lean one way or another for about a 5 lb variation, or more.

DDIL has to go back to work next month, they saved and saved so that she could take off 4 months after Oliver was born, she is a hair color specialist and teacher so no pay at all while she is off, it was hard but I was proud of them for doing it. And then her mom is going to be able to watch him for which I am very glad, so no child care centers at least while he is this small.

Right now my week doesn't look too busy, hope it stays that way, I need to get caught up at home.
