Wonderful news. They did a biophysical profile sonogram on the baby today and he scored a 10 out of 10 so praise the Lord he's doing great!! They're not going to induce until Friday morning now. Please keep on praying but as of right now everything looks great. She'll be a full 38 weeks then so all should go well. Thanks to all of you!!

Oh, and Dad is doing great. No pacemaker needed and he'll get out of the hospital tomorrow morning if all still goes well through the night.

Great news, Sandy on both of your generations...Maybe the little guy will come on his own by Friday..That would be a good thing, too.

Off to watch The Bachelor.

So good to hear that your Dad and the baby are doing well, Sandy. Yay!

That's so funny about the Polish holiday! Dh is Polish, and we hope to get to Poland soon. It's not that far from here. Just found out that they are sending dh back to the states for a week which normally would be fine however it is the week of Spring break for the kids and the week before Easter so he probably won't be back for it.

I owe you all a BIG THANK YOU! It seems I have gotten my ratios right and -after watching the scale inch down in 10ths for the last 2 weeks- in the last two days have lost 2.5lbs which is especially amazing since it's also TOM right now! I also started using the VCO so I wonder if that is helping!?! I am revamping what I eat, have been measuring and planning via ****** and doing my best to stick to it but still I can't believe it! It's working!

I made the CO fudge yesterday. I had to add PB to it. I measured it into little muffin cups. It works out to about a TB per mini. 3 minis is a TB of CO. I am very good with things that are pre-portioned so this will work well for me. I'm trying to have 2T of VCO a day, 1 this way and 1 used in cooking.

Thanks again for the guidance!

Have a great day everyone!
~Ali

Yeah, Ali... Portion control on CO is the key. I have a book on how CO fights brain and degenerative diseases..like Alzheimers. And even "cured" one guy..

Big thunderstorm and rain this morning..

Dr. Oz is a vegetarian..No one would drink that green goop he drinks for breakfast. However, on The Doctors this morning, they were saying that pork rinds are a great
LC snack..

Sandy: Have you got your camera charged up for the blessed event? Can't wait to see him..

MK: When I stay home, I get alot more done..LOL..Of course, dh is gone, so it doesn't really matter..

You guys are NOT going to believe this but by the time I got to the hospital they'd decided NOT to put in the pacemaker and they sent him home with a Holter monitor. I brought him to my house for a few days to make sure he's doing ok. And he goes back to the Dr. in April. Ugh, doctors!

Thanks to all of you.

Well, the monitor will be a good thing to see what his heart does during the day and then
they know what they are dealing with..Is that right?

Good idea that Dad is at your house in case of falling, etc..and you can watch him.

No rain this evening..I was afraid some of the creeks would overflow, but they didn't..

I'm trying to find a time to go to church!
8:00am is out - possibly 12:10, otherwise it's 6:00 and dinner will have to be late!

On the plus side it's already 46°!
But still raining!

Sandy, sounds like you have your hands full but great news on the baby.

Ali, you are doing great and if I didn't get a welcome out to you, here's one!
:welc ome:

Carolyn, don't forget the coffee cake, like I really need that recipe, but I want it!

MK, you are super charged as usual, you shame me, LOL.

Fun week at DD's. Yes, they are fortunate to be able to afford help and it makes it so fun for me to visit and babysit at their house. They live in central Dallas near a really high end mall, shops, etc. so during the day while the day nanny is there, I usually run around the area, do a little shopping and take in a couple of movies. I try to be back at the house by 5:00 on the days I do go out but an evening nanny comes then until 8 pm, she helps feed the kids dinner, do the baths etc. I am there to play in the evening, put them to bed, and get them up in the am and get their breakfast, etc. plus just having family there at the house. The daytime nanny has been with them since before the kids were born and she is just like a second mommy to them, they really love her and she is so good with them. The evening nanny just helps with the overflow and on weekends if needed. Evening with a 1 and a 2 year old, the fussy time of day, can be pretty overwhelming on your own so since they can afford it, but just makes things go much more peacefully and smoothly even though my DD really likes to do most of the care of the kids herself, but it just makes it super nice for her. And, since they didn't have kids until they were in their 40's, it helps DSIL cope with the madness, LOL. He was used to a very quiet, structured life

But, back to reality and my world, haha. I raised 4 kids and was lucky to hire a babysitter once in a while, but that was fine too, I was really young when I had my kids and super energized so it was fun, I wouldn't have traded those years for anything.

My weight is creeping up, I haven't been eating right and it is showing so I need to settle down and pay ATTENTION!!!

Hi..

I'm making that coffee cake today for a meeting tomorrow..Going up to get the recipe for you..

It's nice you have a break from Memaing, but I'm sure they were grateful to have you fill in.. How fun for you..

We have two pregnant pastor's wives..One just had her little one yesterday and she has
3 at home..The other one is an older mom (43) and she is due any second with 3 at home. I'm making "food" for the first one on Friday..Mac and cheese, ham, etc..The kids are little and pretty fussy, so hopefully, they will eat something..

I was 153 today..but I had been a bit UP the other days..It doesn't take much going off plan, does it?

I think I will pm you the recipe, Buffy, rather than mucking up the thread with all that
sugar.

I got Dad home and settled this afternoon. I think he's a bit nervous but the cardio docs all said he should resume normal activities which included living alone. I have to admit I was a bit nervous leaving him there too but I have to think positively. The Dr. thinks his new meds will regulate his heart so we'll see I guess.

We're going to mass at 7:00 this evening. I usually go early but DH said he wanted to go and wanted me to wait for him so.......

Tomorrow I have a lot to catch up on. I sure hope the sun comes out so I can quit feeling so tired and sleepy.

Sandy - scary for sure! I hope he had an easy evening!!

Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Morning!

Sandy, will keep your dad in my prayers to be safe and healthy at home.

Thanks Carolyn, I got the recipe and printed it off, sounds really good.

MK, you just amaze me, you remind me of one of my friends who is in my dinner club, she does bootcamp, works out all the time, works full time, has 2 girls who she is very active with, just a little whirlwind of positive energy. I admire you both.

Wow Carolyn, both of the pastor's wives having their 4th, not too many people have 4 children today, I did but it was a whole different world back then and we lived out on a farm, total different lifestyle than my kids have. I can't imagine any of them having 4 kids today. I know the food you are taking over will be very much appreciated.

Office and laundry for me today. Yesterday I got my nails done and now look presentable again, and went to dinner club which was of course fun as always.

Yay on both fronts Sandy!!

Buffy - don't be too impressed. Exercise keeps me sane.
There was a line from Modern Family where Phil says: "She has to run everyday or she goes crazy, she's like a Border Collie. ..."

That's me!

I have 4 kids and I wish we could have afforded more.
DD24 says she wants 5 - we'll see!
But there won't be any nanny's ~ she wants to be a SAHM.
We'll see if that actually happens after she has her 1st!

Hi gals..

Listening to the KSU game..Crossing my fingers for the Wildcats..

Bodyflow sounds very interesting, MK..I do agree that exercise does help your mental health..Stress reliever, I believe. How fun to have your new baby tomorrow..and the
there are no snowstorms on the horizon, either.

Buffy: The temp is 325..I forgot to put that on there...LOL.

Sandy: Does your dad have Lifeline? He might feel better if he did..Hopefully, his heart
will be regulated with meds instead of the pacemaker..

No Dad just has his cell phone. I might look into that for him, JIC.

I got almost all my "stuff" done today. I didn't get my haircut but that's not a necessity right now. And I have to wait for confirmation that my taxes were accepted before I can send off the other state so I'm stalled there. I don't want to have to do anything tomorrow except wait for the baby, lol. I hope it's not a long wait. She goes in tonight at 8 and they'll start the drip early a.m. and then.........tapping foot smiley inserted here, lol. I hope she can have it w/o a C-section but however he's born is fine with everybody as long as everybody is safe.

I do feel better when I exercise, and I am always so happy I have done it, but I have never ever gotten to that point that I "wanted" to go do it like some of you are. Wish I were.

Sandy, all good news.

Got the temp Carolyn, thanks.

Whew, got through all the mail that came while I was at DD's. But, now have to deal with what I wasn't able to throw into the recycle bin.

Thx MK, I need all the encouragement I can get lately. They've had road construction almost all the way there for the last few months & I just kept putting it off and putting it off. But today I decided today was the day. Actually Tuesday was going to be "the day" but I got that call from my dad which changed everybody's plans that day.
