Morning,
I totally agree with nurse Cindy MK, gargle with either salt water or listerine. My kids think I own stock in listerine but I swear, that stuff heals a lot of things.

Sandy, glad you had fun at bunco and made even more friends.

I agree with Carolyn, love my dishwasher. It is so hard on your hands to wash dishes by hand. I get enough of that with just the pots, etc. that I have to wash by hand.

Kind of overcast here, I haven't listened to the weather but I think DH said we might get some rain or storms tomorrow.

Think I am home for the day, my car is still in the shop getting several leaks fixed up. Poor baby is 10 1/2 years old now but I love this car and want to keep it up in good shape so I don't have to get a new one. Especially love no car payment. If I go anywhere while my car is in the shop I have to drive DH's dually 1 ton pick em up truck and I don't like driving around in Bruiser as I call the truck, and that thing is hard to park.

My ds is sick, too..second day off from work. I think his is sinus, so I told
him to get some Sudafed ..

Sandy: Book and dinner club..how fun. Is this an all-woman thing or are the dh's invited?

Buffy: I hate leaky cars. It is probably just a few old hoses that need repair..No car payments are the way to go. I don't even like to drive the little farm pickup..It is a small one, but still rather "trucky"..

Was down to a flat 152.0 this morning. However, Dianne and I did eat some Chinese for lunch, but I was very good..So, I'll still drink lots of water and tea to flush out the sodium.

Dh is still in Houston..Don't know if he will be home for dinner or not..

I LOVE watching Instant Netflix..My new friend is Frost..an English detective..I think there are many, many on Instant..

It's an all gals group. No men allowed, lol. They just wouldn't understand how we could have a book club and maybe never even get around to discussing the book! Haha.

Well the DW wasn't installed quite right. The drain hose was too low and kept siphoning the water out of it but I'm still not sure I'm going to like it. I got some different soap today and next time it fills up I'll try it again.

MK, feel better soon and get a strep test if it doesn't start feeling better soon.

It's raining like crazy today. The renovated McDonald's was leaking water because they
didn't get the overhangs on yet..

And I have a headache! Which I think is sinus related. Ugh. Good news on the DW though. I rounded up enough dishes to run it again today with the new soap and it did great. I did set it on "heavy load" though so next time I'll try "normal" and see how it does. At least the dishes were clean.

Cindy, you're our little jet setter! Lucky you. I'm trying to figure out our summer trip right now. I think we'll go back to Newport Beach again. We really liked it last year. And the first of Oct. I'm going on a girls only trip to Isle of Palms with friends. Fun times!

It's still snowing here....I canceled my massage for tomorrow morning. I really needed it too.

I'm stuck at 150.6 but I haven't been eating right at all. I keep saying "next week" and it hasn't happened yet. I need to get serious, weigh in is next week!!

I bought Finish Advanced Deep Cleaning Powder. It worked great but it's good to know other good brands too. Thanks.

Still have my headache. I took sudafed this a.m. I hope it helps. I hate taking decongestants but sometimes I just have to do it.

I am slowly getting better too, at least my head doesn't feel full and heavy, just still kind of stuffed up, not much of a headache.
Glad you gals are getting better too.
I have been eating for comfort and we all know that is not good.

About finished my book, The Help, it is a great book. Not sure what I will start on next, I downloaded a lot of audible books because DD was getting ready to close her account so I have a variety to choose from. Might listen to the one MK recommended next, the one Sarah something.

Going to get a facial at 1:00 and have 2-3 places to go before then so better get in the shower and get going.

Hi ladies..

Some of you are having icky weather..We are just cold and clammy..Got the oil changed and they noticed a nail in the back tire, so went to the tire shop and they rotated the tires and pulled out the nail..No flat, I guess..They tested it. We are heading to Wichita to meet ds' girlfriend..She wanted to eat at Panera..(so that's easy).

Ds had a headache with his cold this week..I think it is sinus stuff..Ds started on Sudafed, too.

I was going to try that Advanced Finish, too. Still have those little packages to use up, though. Cascade Complete..

Will write a note to myself to look for The Help at the library.

I like to listen to Terri Blackstock's book from the KS state library..Good mysteries with a Christian touch.

Yup weigh-in is Monday or Tuesday. Name for next month's challenge? We could do a St. Paddy's day theme..

Hugs all around to all of you. I'm sure you take Vitamin D, right? That is supposed to help ward off colds, I guess.

Well, Brett's gf is so very sweet and can carry on a conversation with adults, too. She is a wonderful girl, from what we have seen of her. So, who knows? She will have to do her student teaching next year, then will graduate.

Think of where that money has been..LOL. Well, Brett's gf is so very sweet and can carry on a conversation with adults, too. She is a wonderful girl, from what we have seen of her. So, who knows? She will have to do her student teaching next year, then will graduate. It is a drizzly, warm day in KS..How is everyone feeling?
