Hi ladies..
You dog ladies are wonderful.. Oh, Buffy: What a nightmare..I hear ya on Iowa's weather..When the wind blows, it can be extremely cold. Dr's appointment went well..My cholesterol went down..I want to try the Canadian thyroid meds, which is like the old Armour, so she gave me a prescription to fax to Canada.. |

Morning!
I was so tired last night, I was asleep by 9:45. And today's another day! Circuit class, Post office, home, shower, out for errands! Or maybe a shower now and just don't seat during class! Meeting a GF for lunch and then she's taking off work to help me shop for DD26. I can never buy her clothes, her body-type is too different from mine and I always get the wrong thing. This GF used to be like DD, so she's really helpful! Sandy - the dog HAS to be walked so he can pee and poop! ![]() Carolyn - congrats on the cholesterol!!

Morning!
My crazy friend called and asked if I just wanted to meet at the casino where we met and eat at the buffet there. Said she would be there by 2:00. So, off I went, then she called and said it would probably be 3:00, and then it was 5:00 so our lunch ended up being dinner, LOL. We had a great time catching up though. Dr. appt. at 10:00 and then home to get some stuff done around here. DB was told again yesterday that he wasn't going to get to go home, he had it in his head that he was going home before Christmas so he called and is upset, I have to call him back and try to talk to him. Poor thing, he just wants to go home and his wife just can't take care of him anymore. No new grandbaby yet, I know my poor DIL is going crazy waiting for her little guy to arrive, DS as well.

MK, our pup has a nice enclosed area called "her yard" that she has to use when her parents are too lazy to take her for a real walk. If she could choose, she'd choose the walk everytime. She did talk DH into a short one last night after he got home though. He's a real softie.
I have a massage today and a couple of small errands. Tomorrow I start my "prep" day for my procedure Thurs. Ugh!!!!! I'll be so glad when that's over. |

Buffy, so sorry about your brother. I'm sure he's so disappointed and that has to be hard for you too.
At least your friend caught you before you got there, right? I'd hate to have to hang around for 2-3 hours waiting at a casino until she showed up. In fact, I probably wouldn't, no matter how much I loved her, lol. But if she called before I got there I'd be fine. I'm glad you enjoyed your evening with her. |

Hi ladies..
MK: Great to have a friend who will help with shopping for DD..Dd's can be very hard to buy clothes for.. Buffy: Oh..your poor db..This is the saddest part of putting someone in a home..My finlaw called his friends saying he was ready to go home.. ![]() Sandy: When is your procedure? Is tomorrow the day you don't eat much?? My exercise friend Judy (ex teacher) served a marvelous luncheon at her home..There was a chocolate dessert involved..NO dinner for this chickie. How's Cindy????? |

Yep tomorrow is clear liquid day. Yuck! I'm making DH take me out to dinner tonight, lol. My reward.
My father-in-law is complaining constantly now to everybody who'll listen. What I don't think he realizes is that when that's all he does nobody is real excited about going to visit. My DH was going to try to organize a family visit with our kids and grandkids and has now decided against it b/c he just doesn't know how his dad will act and doesn't want to put the kids through that. We're going down this weekend. I pray it's not a disaster. It's sad, but at this point there are no other alternatives. Especially not any he would ever consider before all this came to be.

Morning!
If we motivate you anymore MK, I am afraid you will turn into a spinning top, whew, you wear me out just trying to read about your schedule! ![]() Got a very welcome call from DS and DBIL from AZ, they were flying to Omaha last night to spend the day with DB today, going to surprise him. Their son works for an airline so if seats are available they can fly standby which is nice. Although much harder to do today than in the past when they didn't oversell flights so much. Afraid I didn't get much done yesterday, I just didn't feel well and ended up taking a nap, but feel much better today so maybe I can do double time. Home until Friday when I have a facial scheduled, so maybe I can get things done today and tomorrow so Friday can be lunch with DD#2 and total relaxation. One store I shopped at had free gift wrapping, but I haven't checked yet to see if they identified the gifts as to boy/girl, so I will have to check that out. Still haven't sent my cards. |

Ouchie..Did you get some Desitin to help with the irritation? Good luck, Sandy..we all hate the prep..I told dh to plan to stay home when he prepped..so he did and wondered
why..He didn't have a hard time of it..like some peeps do. Brett has a phone interview with Schwann's in a little while. Can we say free ice cream?LOLOL. Gotta make some tiger butter for the realtors that help us with Welcome Wagon..Its very good and easy.. Buffy: Your db will enjoy the visit, I'm sure.. I have to do laundry..It's hard to do when you aren't home...

I'm so tired of being cold!
I was supposed to go to Bloomington today with a friend - but luckily he decided he didn't want to go! We had lunch instead and then I wrapped DD26's presents from yesterday. No - nothing has been cleaned yet . . . . AND I haven't even scheduled my colonoscopy . . . |

Well, Carolyn, tell Gary I take my hat off to him if he's not even fazed by the prep day. I do okay until the severe nausea hits me. I told DH I might never have another one of these. That's the way I feel right now for sure!!
MK, I'm tired of being cold too and today I'm really cold. I can't get warm no matter what I do. I even went and laid under the elec. blanket earlier, lol. |

I hope Sandy makes it to the hospital for her "test"..If they don't find any polyps, it is supposed to be 10 years in between, right? Did my exercise..Now to deliver the candy..and back to Wallie World...... |

I'm home - it's snowing!
I didn't go to the gym, I paid bills and organized some things. I'm feeling less stressed! Got a massage, went to the grocery store and went to Target! I bought my Goddaughter a Target card and a Starbucks one! She should be happy! I also put money on my SB card. So I'm set for a while! Now home for laundry, and I'm finally motivated to clean the kitchen. It could have something to do with the sugar-free Red Bull I just drank! Wheeeee! |

That nasty stuff you have to drink makes me sick to my stomach. It lasted about 2-3 hours. Ugh.
Clean report!!! No polyps, no more of these for 10 years!! I told the RN that it actually will probably be my last one forever. She actually said she didn't blame me, lol. Buffy, wooohooooo!!!!!! How exciting. |

Okay, ladies..This is so not lowcarb, but extremely delicious and I'm making it for Christmas dinner..You can do it the night before..It is supposed to serve 20 cuz you
cut the pieces in half. German Brownie Torte 1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans 1/2 cup lightly packed light brown sugar 1/2 stick of butter, melted 1 box (21 ounces) family-style chewy fudge brownies mix 2 cups of heavy whipping cream 1/3 cup confectioner's sugar Heat oven to 350. Line a 15 x 10 in rimmed baking sheet with heavy duty foil, letting the foil extend above the pan on both ends. Coat with nonstick spray. Mix coconut, pecans, brown sugar and butter in a bowl until blended, set aside. Prepare brownie mix as package directs for cake-like brownie. Pour batter into prepared pan, spreading evenly. Top with coconut mixture. Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Lift foil by ends onto cutting board. Cut brownie crosswise in thirds. Beat cream with confectioner's sugar until moist, stiff peaks are formed. To assemble: Place one brownie layer, nut side up, on a serving platter. Spread top with 1 cup of the whipped cream. Repeat with remaining layers and cream, ending with cake. Frost sides with whipped cream. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. You can garnish with fresh raspberries for color..very pretty. Cut one inch pieces with a serrated knife. Very delicious. __________________ |

OMG that sounds good!!
*drool* It was my first Red Bull. And it actually tasted good! I could only drink 1/2 - I'll save the rest for tomorrow. I still don't want to get a colonoscopy! |

It's a mom day - and get my oil changed - and finish shopping.
But no one can go with me, so . . . . *pout* I'll leave about 10:00 and won't get back until after 5:00. Let's hope the roads are good. |
