I had the filler there too Cindy and in what she called the "ditch" under each eye, LOL. She put numbing cream on the areas where she was going to inject and then there are pain meds in the filler so I really didn't think it hurt too much, but, I seem to have a high pain tolerance, compared to others when it gets to having things like that done, waxing, threading, dental stuff, etc.
I could post a picture but I really hate to have that on the internet, God knows where it might eventually end up. I sent it to my kids for a good laugh for them and the RN who did it told me to quit sending people pictures, LOL, I would scare them off. She said one reason I bruised more than most is because I have taken advil lately and that can cause you to bruise easily, plus, my areas needed quite a bit of filler and so it just caused more bruisng. I think the swelling should be pretty much gone by Friday, or at least I hope, it is even better tonight than it was this morning. I am sure my eyes will turn every color from purple to yellow to blue. The price of beauty, haha.

Morning peeps.
Swelling better, brusing a little worse. My cover up cream does a decent job, I went out in public yesterday and nobody referred me to the women's abuse hotline anyway, LOL.
Temps in the low 90's here now so very bearable. Cools off nicely in the evenings.
Picked up DGS 10 from school yesterday to take him for his allergy shot. Then he suggested we stop for a bite to eat and after that, I asked him if he had any homework. He said no, so I asked if he wanted me to take him home or just come by my house, he said he thought it would be great to come to my house and then called his Mom and asked her to not pick him up until 8:00 . I love it that he likes to spend time with me, I know this won't always be this way. DGS 2 has learned to ride his tricycle, so his world is expanding too.
DD#1 had to have an employee transferred because he got mad at her for changing a policy at her school (she is a principal), got to sluffing off on his job, then got to accusing her of things and arguing with her, now he is posting things about her on facebook. It worries me, I told her to be very careful when she is out and about, people like that go off their rockers and get violent. Oh, he is a janitor, not a teacher, so none of this really had anything to do with him, which makes it more scary.

Oh..that is scarey when nutcases get fired..will pray for protection for her..I think your dgs likes you and your cooking, Mema..

Did my exercise and read with a little boy and girl. They are both darling, so far, and can read pretty well. The first little boy (5th grade) was adopted by an art teacher at the highschool in 2nd grade along with his sister. His real dad is in jail..

My friend Dianne's little boy that she has reading with her told her he didn't know how many brothers and sisters he had cuz his dad keeps getting women pregnant..

Oh Buffy, this is a strange world now a days! Sending positive thoughts her way!

Carolyn, my DD31 has just about completed her college and is now a paraprofessional (for the delayed kids) at an elementary school and the stories she hears!! I pray daily for strength for her and the little tykes.

Making Low Carb Beef stroganoff for supper. Making noodles for the carbheads.

Brett has his big interview tomorrow at 3 in KC..Please pray for a good interview for him and that he is relaxed and exudes confidence.. Thanks a lot. He is at KSU's job fair right now..

When i had my eyes done, I had 2 purple shiners for 2-3 weeks. The county where I currently live is a little more affluent so women would look at me and go, "Oh yeah, plastic surgery" but when I went to a rural store further out, they looked at me like, "Yeah, he had to tell ya twice, huh!"

Too funny!

Sending good thoughts Brett's way.

Carolyn, didn't realize you were a teacher in your past life. That is great that you read to these kids, they need all the help and attention they can get. Oh, the stories I hear from my DD about some of the families in her district.

I have some errands to run this morning. I think all the swelling is down in my face, so just some careful makeup application and I will be good to go.

I'm off to Bible study this a.m. and then I need to try to get up to see my dad. I have a few other errands to run too. So probably a full day. I just hope my headache from yesterday doesn't return.

I think it's better. I started to get a headache about lunch time but it's subsided now. I went and took Dad to lunch and he ran errands with me. So I killed 2 birds w/one stone, lol.

We drove to it from home. It is actually pretty close. It is on the eastern boarder of Independence.

Ours went through last night and early this a.m. I hope it's over so it won't ruin the kids' BBQ contest and big feed before the contest.

Hi ladies..

We had rain last night..and the weather is great right now.

Brett thought he had a good interview with Genesys in KCity..It's a very interesting company. So..if God wants him there, it's a good thing.

Oh...Cindy.....DHOR's vet bills are high, aren't they? Praying for your little one, too..
Good thing you have a good job to support all your babies..

I went to Auto Zone cuz I thought my car battery was funky..Dh didn't think so..So, I went they tested it, put a new one in..and I'm good to go.

Any fun weekend plans anyone????

Sandy: There is a LCer who BBQ's, too..I think they are going to compete in the huge one..Kansas City Royal?? or something like that..
