Ok, I'm in. Was down 1 this morning, so that's a total of 37 since 1/27/10. Seems to be slowing down, but I do need to start exercising more routinely.

It's going to start storming here in a little while - I think you all sent this my way! Getting ready for a wedding today - hope it's not too stormy for the wedding party. Have a Baptism tomorrow - busy weekend! Everyone have a great weekend and I'll see you on Monday!

Morning!
I forgot it was new month!

I lost .2 this month - my lowest was 124.4.
Though it might be briefly back up right now . . . I'm claiming the other number!

Happy May Day!

Shoot!! Just ate breakfast and forgot today is weigh-day! Tomorrow I promise.

Rain here and have been doing a lot of landscaping. Using black mulch and it is really pretty against the lime green hostas. My tomatoes are really taking off and I have a 2" long zucchini. I will try to post pics.

Hi everyone! Just checking in - had a wedding yesterday and a Baptism today, but wanted to share -- when I got on the scale this morning, I was down another 2lbs!! That's now a total of 39 since 1/27! Anyway, hope you are all ok after all these storms. We're not getting them as badly as others - glad of that. Have a great rest of the weekend and I'll see ya tomorrow!

Good choice Carolyn. I love The Bristol but I always forget there's one downtown. It used to be where Capitol Grill is now and we also have one out our way. Yummy seafood!

DGS has a wonderful time at prom last night too. I was so glad it didn't rain. They went to the school sponsored after party and didn't get home until 5 a.m. !!!

I'm typing from my new laptop!!!

DS17 was out until 5:00am too - he's already asleep!

Went to see Urinetown with DD26 and then out for sushi.
Good day!!

Carolyn - glad the funeral was OK.

Cindy - thanks!

Sandy - it's close enough . . . don't worry. It will be down next month!

Morning all! Need coffee really bad. Had a very nice weekend, but happy to be able to rest a little today. And didn't go off plan all weekend!

Great pics, MK. Your son definitely has your smile! Was it raining when they went?

Sandy, you'll get back on track. It's so easy to get going the wrong way - boy, don't I know. I know for me, it's really about getting through one day at a time. I do so much better that way - not focusing on the number of lbs I need to lose!

And hi Carolyn, Cindy, Marie and Gord!

Hi everyone...

AKKK..darn allergies..I got some claritin to help dry me up..

Honestly, that restaurant was very busy and the food was great..Of course,
it's easier to go to the one near you than worry about parking downtown, Sandy.

Cindy: You are so ambitious..I love hostas..They are so beautiful.

MK: Your kids are home one week before the KS kids here..Life changes a bit doesn't it? More food is needed..

Stopped at Subway after shopping at Wallie..(same building)..They now have their summer chicken salad ..so I got a chicken salad salad..Very good.

Yes Cindy, that's beautiful!

DH has been struggling with the pollen too, but he's stopped up more than runny. And he hates decongestants. So I guess he'll just keep suffering.

Hello, hello, Hello, Hello everyone! Here I am, back from major crash! Last /wednesday, I think it was, my 2 year old laptop crashed, and man, did it crash! I got it back up momentarily and then it went down again and there was no bringing it back. So, I turned on my old, old, desktop which was unstable but I got it working for about 6 hours and then it crashed and would not come back on at all. Called my computer guy who makes house calls and he came out the next morning and pronouced them both in critical condition and drove away with both of them, leaving me with nothing but my Iphone to get email and get on the internet just a little.
Today he brought back the old desktop, he had to put a new fan in it and replace memory but it is up and running and he was able to extract most of my data from my laptop and put it on this old computer but not all of it will work yet as I am running an old version of windows on it. He has to send laptop in to see if it is even worth fixing, boy, that is maddening since it is only 2 years old.
So, I haven't had time yet to go back to the old month and catch up with you all but wanted to check in and say Hi.
Great pictures Sandy of you and handsome son and date and Cindy, love your landscaping.
Carolyn, I am suffering from allergies too, they got a little better, now they are worse again. So tired of red, sore, itchy eyes.
BBL to catch up more!!!

Wow, Buffy - computer crash - so not a good thing! That happened to me several times last year. What a mess that was. Did you lose anything?

My brother called last night and will be coming to town on Friday and staying through Sunday. Haven't seen him in almost a year, so really looking forward to the visit. He and dh will probably golf on Saturday, and thought I'd put together a little party with other siblings that night. So I guess I'll be doing some cleaning the next several days.

Cindy, the landscaping looks great. Always so pretty when the mulch goes down along with some new hostas!

Well, better get some coffee in me so I can start this cleaning project!

Buffy, so sorry to hear of the computer woes. I hate them about as much as I hate car problems.

And that was Mary Kay and her DS at prom. My DGS went but I haven't posted any pics. They did look very nice didn't they?

Morning.
OMG, Sandy, you are so right, I was thinking MK but wrote Sandy.
Trying to get used to using Old Faithful computer again, after using the newer one with newer version of windows for the past couple of years. I can't upgrade to a new version of windows on this old one b/c there is one old, old program that I use for our business on this one and it won't work with the newer versions of windows. I could go through all the time and effort to transfer everything into a newer program but that would take hours and since we are in the process of slowly shutting down our business, it just isn't worth the effort. So, for now, will use this old windows.
Going to just work in the office today, of course I am behind since I was shut down for several days.
I have graduations and a couple of weddings coming up. Found a pretty dress for the wedding I like but now am on the search for pretty but very comfortable heels. Any suggestions on brands? I haven't bought heels for several years and this dress just demands a nice heel but I can't do the uncomfortable thing at my age.
Shon, no, I don't think I lost anything during the crash, my computer guy was able to extract all my data, it will just be a matter of getting things all set up again on the laptop if it can be fixed, or a new one if it can't. If it can't, then I will have to figure out which laptop to buy, I am not buying an HP again, that is the one which crashed.

Hi..

Well, I finally got the winning combo of drugs..One 24 Claritin and Sudafed every 4 hours.
It's a miracle..Of course I had to sign my life away for the Sudafed, but it was worth it.

Buff: Gosh, I hate puter problems, too..I'm hoping that this Apple will hold up..
On the heels..just try things on..I go for soft and comfy things, but you need to just
experiment and walk alot in the shoe department..And, someone said, go toward the end of the day to try shoes on, so your feet will have done their thing by then..

Dh is in MN for a couple of days..He thought he would be gone for our anniversary on Thursday, so we had a pre-celebration in KCity..Well, he will be back by dinner on
Thursday..Who says there isn't a God??? LOLOL. Lucky Gary.

Did some exercising, Wallie shopping, etc..It's nice to be home.

Buffy - this is what I'm picturing you're on

Is it this old??

Also I say some new Dr Scholls inserts for sandals and they're really squishy, but you can't see them! Maybe they would help any shoe you find.

Born, Soft Spots and Franco Sarto are good comfy shoes.

I assumed you weren't ready for these yet!

Carolyn - this is a tough time of year! I take a 24 hour Claritin-D and that helps tremendously! AND I have to sign my life away!

So you get 2 dinners for your anniversary now??

Shon - enjoy your brother!!
