Hello!
I am enjoying the bright sun-shiny day here. It is 56 degrees but not snowing...or not raining....so I am ok with it. Got some windows and the front door open. Listening to my music and doing stuff around the house at MY speed. Anyone have laminate flooring? I do. We have an old house and I didn't want to spend the $$ on real wood flooring and this stuff fit the bill for us. My husband installed it and I am happy with it. I have been trying all kinds of different cleaners and recently was using hot water, vinegar and a dash of dishwashing liquid. I cannot get it to stop streaking...I read alot of people were using Windex. You know, from My Big Fat Greek Wedding...

Windex fixes EVERYTHING...OMG, what a difference...I use my microfiber reusable mop (like a Swiffer) and bought a big bottle of Windex at Sam's. I refill a smaller bottle...I used it on the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom too. That's it!
Anyone want me to come to their house and show 'em?

Hi everybody! That pic is so cute. Thanks for the floor tip Marie. I'll have to try that. I have Pergo in my kitchen and usually just use vinegar and water but sometimes it still will streak and Windex would be nice for the in betweens.

I'm trying to not spend so much time on the computer lately so if I'm not around a lot, don't forget about me, ok? I need to get back into my workouts, running and other assorted things around here and seem to easily get sidetracked in the a.m. on the computer and things don't get done. So we'll see how long this last, lol.

Quick good morning.

The only thing that works on my kitchen tile without streaking is this very cheap cleaner called Fabulooza, you can get it at grocery, big lots, etc.

Gotta get ready to serve my county.

Looks like it will be a beautiful day out today....wish I didn't have to go to work.

....although the alternative $$-wise would not be good! We have been doing Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey) and SHOULD be debt free besides the house August 2011 and then the house should be paid off sometime in 2012. That is what I have been working on...I wish weight loss was as easy!

Speaking of strawberries, I made some strawberry ice cream the other day with LC ingredients..Very nommie..dh thought it was store-bought..

I think the FE test is for new graduates, it might have taken the place of the other one your dh was talking about..

On Wednesday I am having a lady stay with us..I don't know her, but she was a KU grad..about 60ish and helped form the Creed Rep Company in Creed, CO..She is from
Olathe..She is coming for the Inge Festival..I don't know what to buy for food..I'm not sure she will eat anything but breakie..Who knows??? I'm cleaning like crazy..

Hello everyone just checking in snow has all gone here and is warm and sunny today did 9o min. working in my yard and then my dogs took me for a 60 min walk. Blood pressure is holding around 105/72 and fasting blood sugar is down to 5.6 ==102 and around 6.6==120 to hrs after meal

Metformin and a low carb diet is working great for so far

Well, we have this big Inge Festival in town..And some semi-famous peeps come..NY and Hollywood types..The 3rd gal on the Supremes movie is going to here..Anyway,
lots of peeps come for the festival..So, I was asked by a friend if I could put up his old college friend, as he is too busy with the festival...She will be in and out, so I'm not worried about entertaining her or cooking for her..Maybe I should buy some bread for toast??? She doesn't know she is entering a SF home..LOL..

I was 146 this morning..

Whew, you gals and guy were busy yesterday!

I was let go from jury duty, they only needed about half of us and my name wasn't called. Yippee. I have served before and it i very interesting but I just didn't want to sit through another trial.

Gord, you are doing an awesome job, keep up the good work.

Marie, of course we will pray for your son. Wishing him the best, we all have times we need others prayers.

DGS 10 is coming after school, his mom emailed that he "had a bad day" yesterday, so will try to coax him into telling me what went wrong and maybe we can have a talk. At 10 he is getting to where he clams up and I hate for him to do that.

DD#2 and I went to see Kathy Griffin live last night. Her language is terrible but she is very funny and we laughed and laughed.

2 of my DD's are doing SouthBeach. I might give it a try, it would have enough carbs to go along with taking my Byetta shot, but they are good carbs.

Marie, that is wonderful that you will be debt free, it is a great feeling. We are debt free but we never feel we have enough saved for retirement. But, as Cindy pointed out, 2012 is just around the corner, good one Cindy. took me a moment to catch on too. VBG!

Office work and laundry today for me. Think I will be home tonight, then off to DD#2's for a couple of days to take care of the little ones while they are gone. The nanny will be there during the days, I will have evening and night duty. DGS 23 months asked me to bring the kee kee's with me when I came back to see him. My kitties, LOL.

Well, I bought some orange juice and some Sara Lee LCish bread for my guest, Connie..
It's wierd when I buy that stuff..

Did my faux Curves, got my coffee, cleaned the bathroom..I use that new Extender stuff..The shine is supposed to last for 4 days..I like the way it comes out..like a gun.

How many Premier jewelry parties are there in the world????? I am not going to anymore..I have 2 invites this week...grumble.
