Another good thing about a laptop is taking it with you on trips to unload your pictures off camera and share with friends.

Here is a cool site to find local farms for fresh produce, eggs, meat, etc. I am thinking of buying a share in one of my local farms....

Thanks for that info Marie. I've been lucky lately finding fresh eggs but I'd love to find fresh milk that didn't break the bank.

I'm off to the dentist to start on my 2nd new crown. I'm not looking forward to that.

I was good at lunch..Pepperoni quiche (no crust) and a salad.. We had fun..Then we had to go Sharon's house and see Mercedes and her brand new ragdoll baby kitten. Mercedes was the cat I arranged to have adopted. She is keeping them separated for a while until they adjust to the smells of each other..

Good morning!
Got my workout in...feel great! I was going to skip today and go Saturday a.m. but remembered I have a recall and warranty appointment for my Prius @ 8a.m. So....went to Curves today. My goal was 3 days/week but starting last week my goal is 4 or 5 days/week...did 5 last week and did some time on the Wii Fit Plus.
Got some hamburgers cooking for lunch possibly dinner too. Glad it is humpday!

Exercised, read with my kids, got a haircut and a bunless burger at McD's..Life is good.

I need to clean my top shelf of my fridge out this afternoon..Too many salad dressings, etc.....

Morning all. Went well at the drs yesterday. But I'm still freaking from my stint yesterday as "Little Miss Muffet"!!!!!!! I was just logging back onto my computer, calmly sitting and beginning to read, when a big white spider decided to crawl down from my head onto my glasses. OMG what a shot of adrenalin! I knocked him away, along with my glasses, ripped off my shirt, destroyed my hair and had the chills for the rest of the day! Never did find the stupid thing, but did succeed in breaking my glasses! Actually, I'm still paranoid - I've been looking at all the ceilings, walls, etc., since it happened. I think every light in the house is on. Dh has been on the lookout, too. I HATE spiders! I'm just glad it didn't happen before the dr appt - bp would have been sky high! Hope today is spider free! They have this whole big world - why do they have to come into my house??? Getting some coffee now.

Shon: I those white spiders. I have them too...and put my dyson to good use when I see they up in the corners of the rooms...Just checked, none today!
Made it to Curves again this a.m. This is my 2nd week of 4-5 days working out/week! My eating is kind of bad but with working out I am maintaining so I am happy for now. It is me though, not the WOE.....I am making baby steps....
Supposed to be VERY windy today and tomorrow...gusts up to 40-50 mph they say.

Windy, windy..I have Kansas hair today..

Dh got home at 1 am and slept in..I left for my faux Curves, got the oil changed, etc..

MK: All year, huh? Is this okay with her Master's program? I think it would be great experience for her and Aspen is beautiful..

I don't mind spiders at all..I just kill them with a kleenex..I hate snakes and frogs..Bugs don't bother me..but snakes give me the willies.

I don't like spiders or snakes and that ain't what it takes to love me. My theme song, lol. I about have a heart attack if a bug gets on me. And a wasp or bee???? I go totally ballistic! Call the exterminator Shon!!

Marie, keep on keepin' on. It will all fall into place. Like you said, baby steps. That's what I'm trying to do too.

MK, I hope the Aspen thing works out for your DD. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity for her. And a great vacation spot too which is a nice side perk.

Carolyn, I have that same wind blown look today too. I just got my hair trimmed yesterday so there's less of it but still blown.

I had my end of the year Bible study brunch today. Our small group decided to meet up at least once this summer for Mass, coffee and talk. Next year we'll all be in new small groups. It feels like school.

Then I went to the thrift store and hit the jackpot! I got DH a really nice new polo style shirt, me 2 pairs of capris, 1 pair of black slacks, several summer tops and several new books and a new bundt cake pan, a cake carrier/keeper, a pie plate for DD and 3 kitchen gadgets. With my fully punched customer card I only paid $20 for all of it!! Woohoooo!!

It's going to be hot and windy today - yeah!!!! Well, not so much for the wind, but I'm ready for some warmer temps. Don't think it's going to last too long though, so will thoroughly enjoy it today!
