I got the Thera Shoe from K-Mart. So far so good. I'm glad you had a good day with Mom and Carolyn is right, your crown is really sparkling.

We watched Food, Inc. tonight. It really makes you think about what you put into your body. I'm really going to start making healthier choices at the grocery. Not so much for weight loss as just overall health.

Cute story on DGS 22 months. DGS 10 decided to call me Mema instead of Grandma so I have been Mema since. Well, we realized that DGS 22months is calling me just Ma, which isn't all that cute, LOL. When I try to tell him that I am Mema, he looks at me funny, pats himself and says Me, then points at me and says Ma. He has a point!!!!

Our flight got cancelled due to bad weather in Denver, so, instead of flying out today, we leave earlier tomorrow and will stay until Mon instead of coming home on Sun., if, the hotel can accomodate us. Poor DD, she has been on the phone forever trying to make all the changes. Great thing is that we are confirmed on first class going, they fly so much that they can always ask for upgrades and often get them.

Carolyn, remember, it takes 3 months to grow a new nail, so you won't notice the biotin doing anything for awhile, commit to taking it for 3-4 months to give it a fair trial, but truly, I started noticing after about 9 weeks, the nail bed was looking very healthy and then the ends were strong and now are growing longer without breaking, peeling, etc.

MK, you still get stars, even though it isn't your favorite thing to do.

Need to do a return day today, am I the only one who buys without trying on, etc. so always has a pile of things to return? I hate to try things on in the stores, it is always too warm in the dressing rooms.

That's right. The stars still go in our crown. They might be bigger stars some days than others but they still go in. Hang in there MK. I'm working on my stars with my dad too. I really have to watch my attitude about it and I'm always asking for help from above, which does help.

Carolyn, we have Vit. Shoppes up here now. Are you coming anytime soon? I think I need to get some too. I had 2 nails break off at the quick this week so I chopped them all off.

They don't show a lot of the killing of the animals but enough that if might bother you. What bothered me even more was the type of control that our govt. has over all of our food and how lax the regulations are to make sure our food is healthy. It's a very good movie to watch. I picked up several organic things at Walmart today. They did cost more but I think in the end it's worth it.

Buffy, sorry about your canceled plans. I hate when things don't go according to plan. Your little DGS does sound very smart but I bet you'll be able to convert him to your way of thinking before he's much older, lol.

Oh, first class, Buffy..How fun for you..I didn't realize the weather was bad in CO..Safe travels..I just took my first Biotin (Walgreens), so I will wait for the results..3 months is okay when I've had bad nails forever..

Sandy: Our next big trip is to Manhattan on Easter Saturday..But I already went to WGreens..I think working in a slaughterhouse would be the last thing on my work list.
I'm sure there is alot going on that we don't know.

Did 3 WW calls today..had lunch (LC) and exercised for 90 minutes..Whew..

I always try on clothes cuz we live 45 miles away from the closest mall..

Busy day here. Bible study earlier than normal for coffee/donuts, of which I will not be partaking, but I volunteered to help. Then a massage and hopefully a walk sometime in between. And I need to clean house too. I feel a big spring cleaning coming on here.

Flight cancelled again! I guess American only has 2 flights a day from DFW to Denver, so now they are trying to accomodate all the people who got messed up the first day. Geez! Now, we are scheduled to go out tomorrow morning and come back Tues. eve. If this doesn't work, the trip will have to be cancelled for now.
Cindy, glad to hear that about the eyebrows, mine have gotten sparse as I have gotten older and have the thyroid issues and I keep thinking that I am seeing a little extra growth but not sure yet. I could use thicker hair as well and know biotin can also help that, so hoping it continues to help me.
Have office work today, if I work really hard, I won't have to take it with me on the trip as I had planned.

Got my returns done yesterday, but then bought more "stuff". Why do I like "stuff" so much?
Anyone else into Yellow Box sandals? I probably mentioned them last summer, they are so cute and so comfy, I wear them all the time and have them in about every color. And, they are cheap!!! And, lo carb, they have no fat in them and no sugar although some colors look pretty sweeeettt! Just kidding, have to make this a low carb subject!!!

I have spent the whole afternoon and evening getting my new computer loaded with all my "old stand-by" programs. And transferring my iPod to my new laptop. That was a giant mess!! I finally found some halfway intelligible instructions online from another iPod user and it worked!! I think. At least I don't have to load all those CDs again. And it copied my podcasts too so I'm happy so far.

I have to bake in the a.m. for the shrimp dinner tomorrow night. I'm going to make pineapple upside down cakes with my special pretty pans. I dread smelling them hot when they come out of the oven.

The K-State game is exciting so far. I hope they win. They've really done so well this year.

Well, so far, they haven't cancelled our flight today so guess we are off.
Around here I get the sandals at Belk dept store, small chain and at a store called Charming Charlies, they don't have many. The best bet is to google them, there are several sites online that carry them and run some good sales, I just got a couple of pairs at 20% off, free shipping. Our Belk store is close by and carry a large selection so I got most of mine there, not sure what other dept. stores carry them. They are kind of the rage around here.
Well, better get ready to head to the airport, meeting the kids are checkin and with 2 babies in tow, I am sure they wiill be running late. I will be there early waiting, LOL.

I got stuck on FB this morning!

Spin at 8:30 then 1 more bathroom to clean and sheets to wash.
DD26 is coming over to spend the night. DH and I are taking DS17 on another college visit trip. This time to Quincy University.
It starts at 8:00am and it seemed easier to spend the night there rather than get up so early.

Meeting with the stockbroker this afternoon . . . I'm sure there's other stuff, right?
