![]() Morning! Don't forget to wear green! It's another mom day today. Do I get brownie points? She has an eye appt in my town. So it will require 2 trips back and forth. I found a new book to listen to, so maybe I won't die of boredom. BBL! |

Yes MK, 10 brownie points for you today for sure. What book are you listening to? I'm trying to listen to the Dolorous Passion of our Lord but I'm way behind. I hope to finish it during Lent but that might be pretty ambitious.
Try to enjoy your day. |

Morning gang.
Whew, what a whirlwind week I just went through, but fun, fun, fun. Grandkids in NE were so wonderful to see, DGD was so cute and good in Wizard of Oz as Dorothy. Then DD#1 and I had a great drive back to TX on Sat. Sun and Mon were spent with her sisters, we played with the little ones, went to lunch, had a cookout, went to lunch again, went for pedis and manis, drank a little wine and then Tues. morning, off she drove to go back to NE. She has 1 free day of her spring break, today, to hopefully relax a little at home, then DGD goes to state speech, and on Fri. she has company coming in again to watch DGD in the last weekend performances of Wizard of Oz. Then, back to school on Mon., she is an elementary principal and works long, hard hours. After she left yesterday, I picked up DD#3's MIL who is visiting here from Canada, took her to lunch and then we shopped till we dropped, then met DH for wine at a local handout. Got her home very relaxed at 11:30 and I got into bed about 1:00. I AM POOPED! Took time to read back through the posts since I have been gone, hello to all. Welcome Sunday and Gord, can't wait for your results. Hugs to everyone.

Hi everyone..
Akk..I forgot to wear green today.. ds22 and his roomie got home from their historical tour of Vicksburg, Hot Springs, etc. and had a good time..They are doing a whirlwind tour of Independence, then on to the farm to shoot their shotguns.. Brett bought a new one..He just shoots tincans..I hope they don't shoot each other..Gord: Were you eating LC stuff before this morning's btest? That wasn't a bad number, was it? However, perfect is below 100.. Buffy: Wowo...your whole family is so busy.. I always listen to books when travelling by myself..The time goes back fast.. Yes, poor Jerry doesn't sound too good, but God can do miracles, can't he? Sandy: Will you be glued to the tv tomorrow?? I think KU plays at 8:30 p and KState plays at 1:30..Dh is taking the afternoon off.. MKay: I can see more and more stars in your crown..

My niece is going to KState next year.
Is that good or bad? She's the first in her family who hasn't attended Mizzou. Her father's not sure he can wear purple! ![]() |

![]() I lose very slow. If I have difficulty losing on this WOE, I may start testing my bs. Before I lost my weight, two years ago, I was at my highest of 225 and my doc said that I was also pre-diabetic. (My wakeup call) Since then I have lost 50 lbs and still need to lose 30 more. I have been lc'ing and even thought about doing Stillman's but realized that I do better with fat added. Does anyone here use Fiberfit? I just saw all of the reviews on Netrition for it. I rarely sweeten anything, but have been using stevia and sometimes xylitol when I sweeten my smoothies and coconut bark. I drink my tea unsweetened. Today's Menu 2 Eggs fried in EVCO Tuna w/ Olive Oil Mayo Salsa Egg Frenchie w/ Blueberries Snacks - Pecans, MJ Cheese 1425 cals 74% fat, 17% protein, 9% carb |

Sun, I have used Fiberfit. It is a good sweetener. I think the soluable fiber they list in the ingrediants is inulin which are in my Vitatops. Buff, you are a busy girl! I like wine but it has to be sweet. My very fav is Asti Spumonte! Vita Tops and raw honey for breakfast this morning. Raw honey has a little different taste than pasteurized honey. I am experimenting with cauliflower "rice". I used it under my beef curry but may try tonight to combine with a little cheese for a mac and cheese effect. Earlier, I used it as a for a Greek side dish instead of orzo. Very versatile. Off to the gym. Sun is out today. Yeah!!

K-state is a fine school, but you should really try to talk them into KU, lol. JK. I'm proud of both of them. But I bet either wearing purple or blue will come hard to the family at this point.
Good luck Gord!! |

Oh, dear Gord..We will be anxiously awaiting your doctor's instructions..She better take care of you..or we are coming to Canada.. Sunday: I would get a meter..We all know that too much protein at one meals acts like carbs and will shoot up your sugar level, too. You might add some veggies, too.. Sandy: Let's cross our fingers for all the Kansas peeps playing today..The first round should go smoothly..Let's hope. Cindy: I love the sun, too..So glad it came out..Cauli-rice is so versatile..I love it, too. Did my 60 minutes of exercise this morning.. Hugs all around.. |

Yes, let's all root for KS today. At least any of you who don't have your own fav team in the playoffs.
It is a beautiful day!! I'm just having a terrible time adjusting to this time!! It makes me feel old, lol. I'm off to have lunch with DGD and her friend. Chinese. Sodium heaven. Lol. |

Sandy,
I picked KU to go to the top of the bracket. I would love to see that!Cindy, darn, it looks like fiberfit is sucralose. I am going to use it in baking but am a bit fearful of using it daily. I am going to look for Vita-tops. Where do you buy them? Carolyn, I am a chicken about sticking myself. I do eat lots of tomatoes and peppers. I failed to put them on my menu. |

I don't like sticking myself either. Actually I've never even done it to myself, but I hate it when I get stuck. I hope I never have to do that regularly or that they come out with a totally painless, cheap system.
Two games went into OT already so the poor K-State Cat's haven't even gotten to start! The pres picked KU too!! I sure hope he's right about that at least, lol. |

That's great news Carolyn. I'll continue to pray for him and the whole family as well.
DGD got a new puppy today to take back to college. I don't know what she's thinking but at least it's not a baby, lol. It's so cute!! An Australian Shepherd. |
