Yup...Happy 2010.. It will take a while for me to write that date..

Weight was 152.. But, I'm sure with this challenge as a carrot in front of me, I'll be down to 150 by February..That is my goal...Anyone else have a goal?

Dh was pretty sick last night and this morning..tummy upset. I hope he's okay to go to Manhattan tomorrow..although, if he's still puny, we can leave early Sunday morning for a noon game.

Buffy: Did your dh have the tummy thing?? My dh is moping around upstairs..Luckily, we have Sprite in the house and Brett will bring home some saltines after he has lunch with his friend. I'm sleeping separately and washing my hands like crazy..

We're both feeling fine. I hope all flu stays far, far away from us. There were lots of sniffling sounds and some coughing at the funeral yesterday but I made sure to keep my hands washed a lot.

Weight today: 151. That's up but I'll take it after such a free for all holiday season I just had.

Cindy, be careful with the Ambien. I've been known to email people and talk to people on the phone after taking it with absolutely no memory of the event. Dr. M said that was a side effect but it had never affected him that way. I do better with Lunesta and don't leave the bedroom after I've taken it. Not that I remember anyway, lol. Have a safe trip!!

Buffy, glad you're back on warmer soil. I can now understand why all those people go to warm temps every winter. The older I get the less I like winter.

You all stay far away from your sick DHs and try to stay well.

Weight - 126.6! Yikes! That's 2.2 higher than last year!

So - the challenge starts Monday!

Sandy - i agree - I hate the cold! It's 12 here today with a wicked wind chill!

I hope all the DH's get well! And none of the bunnies get it!

Ambien is what Tiger and one of his "girls" took during their trysts . . . . just sayin'!

Hmmm...I think dh has the flu. He is aching and his throat is sore now. He got the regular flu shot, but hadn't gotten the H1N1 yet..The office was giving them out next week. B and I got ours, but I am hoping that Gary doesn't have the H1N1..He never is sick. This bunny is sleeping in the guest room and washing her hands alot ..

There's a bad sore throat bug floating around. Lasts about 5-7 days. Hopefully he'll recover quickly and escape h1n1. They said all kinds of sickness would rear it's head after the holidays but wow! that's fast work!!

DH said he felt much better this morning and ran around as usual, but, came home this afternoon, said he was chilled again and achy. Running a slight temp when he got home, then he broke my last thermometer so not sure if it has gone up much or not. No sore throat for him but tummy issues. I have not moved into guest room as I figure I probably am already exposed but also washing hands like crazy. The grandbaby is scheduled for Thurs. if she doesn't go into labor earlier, I CAN'T be sick, I want to be there for the birth and then plan on going to the house when she comes home. At least she will be in the hospital for several days due to C-section, so if I do happen to get it, hopefully I will be over it in time to go when she comes home. DD#3 can fill in for me in the delivery room taking pictures if I have to miss, but I sure don't want to, that was a wonderful experience when DGS was born.
Ok, got all the leftovers thrown away, all the dishes done up and put away, laundry and desk caught up, going to do a little shopping with friend tomorrow.
Weight at 210, about what I had expected. I got down to 206 I think doing the WW but when the holidays started I crept back up and had stayed there all during, so I am not to unhappy with that. Hoping I can take another 20 lbs or so off this year.
Why on earth did Tiger and GF take ambien???

I don't see how you snow bunnies are standing that cold, but I used to live in it too, didn't think much of it.

Morning! Slept in yesterday, tossed and turned last night and woke up early this morning. What does it feel like to just get 8 hours a night, every night?
Sex better on ambien? Isn't it the sleeping pill? Hmmmm???

DH says he feels "ok". I have no signs yet....

MK, enjoy DD's last day, those vacations come and go soooo fast.

Sandy, good idea to come south for the winter. But, I admit, I will be gripeing about the hot weather soon enough.

Dh is better today and thinks he can make it to the game..If I drive, which is not a problem as the roads are clear..I don't drive that fast, but that's okay.

MKay: Last day for ds22, too. We will stay at his apartment tonight..He told it was clean but not organized. I hope we can find the bed.. It's been fun having him here, of course. We haven't made it through all the seasons of The Office yet, though.

Anyone have a rabbit fur coat? I do..My mom got it when I was in college in
1970 and I still have it. I wonder if it still fits.Its not a jacket..I need to find it..It was very soft .

I actually lost 2.5 pounds this month and I'm sure it's my new thyroid meds!! Yeah

DD#1 had a rabbit coat, it was the softest thing ever.

Very tired, dear friend and I left this morning at 9:45 and got home 12 hours later. Shopped, ate out, had a good time. Tomorrow I will need to rest.

Got home from Manhattan..Had fun with Brett and several of his friends..Went to Thai food and Avatar (liked it..ds said it was "Dancing with Wolves"). Then today the Wildcats won over South Dakota. Had some pizza after the games with ds and friends..Bad Carolyn..

Well, Monday is another day, right?

Hey all you Snow Bunnies! I'm "hopping" back on the track tomorrow. I have 4 weeks b4 vacation and it's going to be a brutal 4 weeks around here. Good eating, working out and all around being on the straight and narrow. Really!

I tried to watch the K-State game today so I could look for Carolyn in the stands but the TV station wasn't broadcasting. They said they had technical difficulties. I told DH, ya, the van probably went into a ditch on the way there so they couldn't use the satellite feed. I'm sick, sick, sick of winter!!! And we're getting sub-zero temps this week. I want to be a snow bird and head south every winter. Someday maybe.

DD23 got stranded in Erie PA last night! The blizzard and the darkness wasn't a good combination, so, she found a hotel room and weathered the storm!

She just left there and will hopefully make Syracuse in a few hours.

Her bus leaves tomorrow morning for NYC, so today will be a busy day - as long as she gets her paycheck cashed and her bus ticket, I think she'll be OK.

Is everyone ready for a fun-filled week?

Oh no! I'm glad she stopped and found a hotel. What will she do with her car when she gets the bus? I'm confused.

Well, I actually gained a pound since weigh in. Grrr. But I'm determined and today is a new start of a new day so away I go!!

It's so cold here I don't want to leave the house but I have a whole list of things to do. I'll give it a little bit and maybe it'll get up to at least 5*. Then I'll brave it. Until then I'll do some catch up around here.

MK, I am confused too about DD, bus, car??? Glad she was able to stop and get a hotel when it got bad though.
Talked to my cousin in Iowa yesterday, oh, it is so cold there like you guys are having, it sounds terrible. We are supposed to have cold Thursday, under 10 degrees, we will really think it is horrible for here. That is the day the new baby is scheduled, so he/she will have a cold day to arrive in TX. DD's inlaws are coming from Tucson, they will totally be unprepared for this weather.
Have office work today, haircut/color tomorrow, can't wait for the haircut, she didn't cut much last time and it is driving me nutso.
I need to cook more but can't think of what I want to cook?

DD23 is back in Syracuse!

She drove from here to Syracuse where she is going to grad school.
Tomorrow she starts her Immersion Class in NYC for 10 days.
So she'll take the bus from Syracuse to NYC.

Does that make sense?

Hi everyone..

We needed a new outdoor thermometer..So I got one of those window ones that sticks. I think its a bit on the high side, but it's approximate. It's 16 here, but sunny, which is very nice.

Glad dd was smart enough to stop..She must have a smart mom..I think she will totally enjoy NYC...fun, fun, fun.

Don't mention gaining weight..;( Too many carbs..I had a popcorn during the game which was full of salt and pizza afterwards....The pizza wasn't that great, either.

Ohh....Grandma Buffy..Yes, the inlaws will have to bring their long underwear to welcome the baby..I hope new little one has a snow suit..LOL.

I have been good so far, today..Drinking several cups of weak tea with cream in it..nommie.

Mary Kay..Only ds is home now?

Sandy: I'm with you on the new day..Monday is always the best day to start back on plan.

Eat when hungry, stop when satisfied. I think that's what the bunnies do..
