Started taco soup last night, didn't have the beans or onions, so it is on hold until either I or DH goes to the store.
Still cold and rainy here, but nothing like poor OK got, wow.

When DD had DGS 20 months, they were certain he needed to be on a feeding schedule right away, I couldn't convince her to nurse "on demand" and he ended up being a fussy baby, not sure if that was why but I have noticed on this baby that she is nursing on demand and oh my, what a contented little babe she is. I told her that as they get older they will automatically go longer between feedings, but hey, what does Mema know, LOL. Anyway, without even talking about it this time, I notice that is what she is doing. They do call her Hungry Hippo though, she wants to nurse about every 2-3 hours so far. I always tell my DD's to think of their babies like a mother cat cares for her kittens, I think we humans overthink things.
I am ready to be Fabulous in February, great name for our new thread.

In a very sad mood.
DD23 won't be coming home for Spring Break and probably won't be at Easter either.

The first time we see her will be her graduation in May.
I'm not sure I can last that long.

So I went to work out. God was nice enough to put my favorite Deacon on the treadmill beside me. We laughed and talked for 45 minutes and I'm in a bearable mood now, but . . . .

Sigh.

Carolyn, I love Fabulous in Feb but I'm not going to be off to a good start. I ate a pint of butter pecan ice cream! Why? We are going to a dinner tonight so why not blow it big. I've never eaten a pint of ice cream! Well, maybe close in a bowl but it seems like a lot when you eat the whole carton! THE WHOLE CARTON!!

Well, I made popcorn for the game tonight. Wildcats lost by 2 in an overtime..

but they played great.

Cindy: Ice cream just slips right down..And a pint is only 4 servings of 1/2 cup each, so that's not bad.

Up one pound..to 153..I was up and down all month, so I'll take my licks and post the weight..I'm sure I am a victim of carb creep..

and I'm going to start an inductionish
plan, which is basically Barry, but I won't overeat protein. I got my keto stix, so I'll see what happens. I need to start today..so I'll be on my way to fabulous in February..

I have notes around the house to remove his food at 6 tonight..but leave water..He will not be pleased..at all.

Hmmm...maybe we could have a "Really Good Week Challenge" while Sandy is away and she would be really surprised how good we were..

No, no, I want that cat. What a beauty. Is her nose that pink or is there something on it? My eyesight isn't as great as it should be.
Love, so happy to see pictures of you, helps us know you better. You look nice in the before and awesome in the after, 10 lbs makes quite a difference. Good job on your hard work.
MK, sorry about DD not being able to come home this spring, busy with school and internship? I only get to see DD#1 about twice a year, we have adjusted now but it was hard when she was younger.
My weight was up about 2 lbs from the 1st of the month, I knew it was, could feel it. I don't weigh very often anymore, now for me it is more a matter of keeping the diabetes under control. Yesterday after I ate lunch I had a low reading, was feeling bad and took it and it was in the 60's so I had to eat something carby to bring it up. I had a banana and within a few minutes it was up to 80 and I felt fine.
Not sure what I am going to do today, off to read the Sunday paper now.

I'm not ready for her to be gone this much. I got spoiled over the last few summers when we would walk together twice a day and just talk.
Yes to both - the internship doesn't recognize Spring Break and Easter is such a quick holiday she'd spend most of it on a plane.

Okay, folks..The kitty konnection was made at 3..I saw both parties at church and Sharon was in tears of joy thinking a new kitty was coming into her life that afternoon. So, Shelley brought her over..and I think Mercedes ended up hiding behind the toilet. I'm sure she will come out after a while. So, on Tuesday I will hear the whole story of how it is going with the two of them.

MKay: No springbreak for working folks, huh? I hope Brett enjoys his last one this year. That is assuming he gets a job..LOL..
Yup...you can report your exercising..good deal..I will, too.

45 minutes until Alex's food is removed until after his teeth cleaning tomorrow. He will not be pleased, but he has enough extra to live on for a couple of days or more. I'm going to have to shut all the doors in the bedrooms so he can't escape under the beds when we try to get him into the cat carrier in the a.m.

Well..went out for Mexican..had 6 chips and a salad with shrimp. No dinner probably.
Tomorrow I'm back totally on plan with my keto stix ready.

So..tomorrow night Mercedes goes home to her little doggies and Shelley won't be moving for a while, so she has time to find her another home..
