I attribute my 5 pound loss last month to better thyroid management. I am now on Naturthroid and can tell a big difference.
I work Thanksgiving this year so we are doing our meal on Wednesday. I MUST have leftovers! |

Morning peeps!
Congrats to our newbies on great starts! I am feeling better today, didn't go to the doctor but did spend the day in bed with a heating pad off and on my back and that has helped so much. It is better today, much better and I hope will be fine by tomorrow, just so odd. Going to take it easy again today but try to be up and around. Need to go to a visitation at the funeral home tonight if I am up for it. I have never seen a wild turkey..., what a sheltered life I have led, LOL. Saw a new low on the scale this morning, 205.8, didn't eat much yesterday which I am sure helped but it was nice to see a new low.

I picked up some Jillian whey protein powder at Wallie..and mixed it with my iced coffee from McD's..for a nice coffee/chocolate shake for my Pilgrim lunch. Probably around 250 in calories. Cindy: Good for you on your thyroid...I'm hoping my dr. will increase my meds tomorrow. She has me have my blood taken with no thyroid meds taken that day..What about you? Buffy..205..Wowowowowowo...I'm gearing up for a big party, girl..Gord is about at the same place as you are, so we can have a double party. Hugs..keep us posted, Sandy on your dgd.Hi Mary Kay... Water can weigh alot..I'm sure you will be down soon.

Ok, we got the test results back and everything is totally normal. No Crohn's, no nothing!! So praise God. I prayed for total healing and I'm believing my prayers were answered. The Dr. told her to stop all the meds and live her life as normal. They said it could've been a long lived virus that finally ran it's course or a bacteria that they didn't test for or missed. Or whatever. They really don't know what it was. They said the total cleanse probably cleaned out any residual leftovers and that at this point she was fine. They did about 15 biopsies and they were all normal. So now my prayer is that she continues to feel good and be healthy. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

TG & F : Nah, i'm from malaysia.
This is the pic of buttered prawn with egg floss. this food is usually eaten with rice or u can just have it like that~ - i skipped sugar, chicken stock and oat. instead, i add some whipping cream egg floss should be crunchy.<- i learn how to make buttered prawn here. but it's not a quality video. - - other version garlic butter prawn We also have beef / chicken / fish floss. Actually they are made from curry. they have to be cooked until dry. flosses are usually available during festive season. ![]() |

Carolyn, I took my Cytomel 5 hours before my bloodwork was drawn as that what it appears that most do. I told him I was still feeling no better and would like to change to dessicated which he agreed to. We kept the dose that would be equivalent to the synthetics which is 1 grain until we get labs back. I work tomorrow so I'll swing by and see if my labs are back.
Made a leg of lamb with a ton of garlic. I eat the LC pitas and make taziki with Fage greek yogurt. Man, thats good and it is always in the fridge as the BF won't touch it! I like the Costco lamb as it is Australian which means organic and grass fed .

Morning.
Hmm, the egg floss stuff is very interesting. Sandy, soooo happy to hear your DGD's results. Now, let's just hope whatever was causing all her problems is gone. Thanks for the encouragement as my train chugs towards onederland, LOL Gord, maybe our trains can collide at 199 :-) Kim, sounds like you are making great progress with your thyroid meds. DD#2 who is 31 weeks pregnant called in the middle of the night last night, she was having horrible cramps, waves of nausea and then throwing up, then started spotting. Went to the hospital where they kept her and monitored her for quite awhile but it passed and they said numerous things might have caused it, she had gone out to eat so might even have been something she ate. Scary night though and I am still tired this morning. Hi to everyone. Dreamt last night that I was marrying into kind of an odd family who had all these rules the wives had to live by, one of them was "stick to your diet", LOL. Silly dreams, haha. |

Wow what a dream Buffy! Maybe that's the kind of family we should all be in.
I hope your DD is okay now. Hopefully it was just something she ate or a bug. I'll add her to my prayers. |

I had to look this up . . .
Egg Floss Ingredients: 7 egg yolks 2 cup (500 ml ) vegetable oil; uses about 1/2 cup or 125ml 3 egg whites 1/8 tsp. MSG (optional) 3/4 tsp. salt, or to taste 1/8 tsp. rice wine Directions: 1. Beat the egg yolks and whites in a bowl and stir in the salt, rice wine, and MSG (optional) 2. Heat the oil in a wok over low heat, to very hot about 350oF(180oC), or until smoke rises. Pour the eggs through a perforated spoon into the oil and deep-fry until yellow. The egg will cook into threads as thin as hair. Remove the egg threads from the oil and drain well. Loosen the egg threads into a light, airy floss, place in a dish, and serve.

Hi gang..
Yes, we do need a roadtrip to Malaysia..I will have to look up where that is..That egg floss sounds very nommie.. ![]() Buffy: Owww...being sick and 31 weeks PG is no fun at all. But, 31 weeks is not too soon to be born, is it?? But, will be praying for everyone involved. Okay..Went to my doctor..thyroid is optimized..I asked her about weight loss..and she said I was on a good eating plan (she doesn't like carbs), but she did say to eat dinner before 6 p.m. OR eat a tiny dinner with dh after that. Plus she told me to treadmill for 15 minutes after dinner. So, the eating is like what Barry says..However, it is so hard to switch, but I'm going to try it and see what happens..I'll still be on the Pilgrim Plan cuz we eat our Tday meal around 1:00.. ![]() Well, I had lost 1.5 pounds since my last visit in September..So, that is good. |

Malaysia is between Vietnam/Thialand and Australia. I was almost very close to you when I had to cancel a recent trip to the Philappines. Great scuba diving as it isn't far from Borneo.

Morning gang!
Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts for DD. 31 weeks is 8 weeks shy of her due date, so baby will be much better off not being born yet. And, her DH just had a tumor removed from his stomach last week, so they need to calm down for a couple more months before new baby arrives. She was fine yesterday so I think it was something she ate. Went with 6 of my dinner club friends last night to Menopause the Musical. If you haven't seen it, you must, we all loved it and the whold audience was loving it. We went early, 1 gal has a car big enough to take all 7 of us, 2 of our members did not get to go, so we piled into one car and had a great time driving there. Then we stopped at a mexican place for 1 drink and a free nacho and quesadilla bar, we all ate and then went to the show. That salad does look good Love, what kind of dressing is on it? Carolyn, congrats on being down in weight from your last Dr. visit and Sandy and MK, glad to hear you two are being good at least, LOL. Have a great day everyone. |
