- 1 tsp sugar (i'll omit the sugar)

1 cup stir fry lettuce
-1 tbsp oil

Hi gang,

Love..have you lost on Atkins?? Many of us find that we can't eat lots of protein and lose weight because too much protein acts like carbs in the sugar area. So, according to Barry, it's best to find your protein level..and probably for you, it would be around 80 grams of protein a day. Spread it out during the day, add some good fat and a good amount of healthy green veggies and you should be good to go. Some of us do ****** on occasion and some are probably pretty faithful. But, basically, if you watch your calorie intake..around 1500 or less, and don't eat more than 40 grams of carbs a day, you should be fine. Watching your protein is the key, too.

Hope everyone is okay today..Went to the big parade downtown, ate a bratwurst..and left before some sugary thing jumped into my mouth.

I'm making pistaccio tonight..It's Greek and I think that is how you spell it..The Cats are playing OK U..hopefully, they won't be demolished.

hi. i've lost 20lbs on atkins. yeah, it's all about protein. at first i ate almost 20oz of protein daily for my induction. after a few days. i felt full so i take less than 15oz protein. my stomach felt like bursting. i'm quite sick of protein and would like to introduce carbs in my diet. maybe 1 piece of bread , 2-3x a week.

thanks for the reply.

Morning!

Fabulous day yesterday!

Went to a Lia Sophia jewelry party with 2 friends.
finished about noon and took one friend home.
Went to lunch with the other at our favorite Mexican place - sat until 4:00 drinking margaritas!! Yes, in the afternoon!!

Came home, did some laundry, went to church, had a caramel apple for dinner (the apple was good for me, right?!) and then caught up on the last 3 episodes of Brothers and Sisters. I think that's the only show I'm caught up on!

So - what to do today?

DS17 has his soccer banquet tonight, but besides that . . . .

Love - do not look at my day yesterday for what to eat on this plan!!

Cindy - you are both adorable! Great pic!!

Carolyn - what's up??

Sandy - where are you?

Good morning. I'm here MK. I was making cakes and cheesecake and doing prep yesterday for the big family BD dinner today for DH. Today my back is already killing me so hopefully I can get it calmed down before I have to start in again today. It should be a great day though.

DGD seems to be doing better with all the new meds they put her on. I have no idea why they waited so long to try these???? I can't wait to hear the official results from her tests last week

Today is weigh in day. I'd rather take yesterday's weight but I'll use today's to stay legal. Today-148 (yesterday was 145.5) I had a couple of beers yesterday watching college football so I know I'm full of "water" from that.

For Nov. thread how about EFGT Turkey Trotters. Just an idea.

tuscan girl : LOL

everybody : i love this thread

okay, yesterday i did EFGT.. this is my menu

breakfast : 2 burger patties (3g carbs each) , 1 cup sauteed mushrooms
lunch : 1/4 roasted chicken (Nando's), 3 cups of roasted vegetables (zucchini, pumpkin, carrot, eggplant)
dinner : 4oz chicken stir fry (thai sauce - quite sweets, i scraped off the gravy), eat with cauliflower rice. 2 cups mixed veggies (i think it had cornflour as thickener)

if i want to batter my proteins, what flour is the best? 50:50 cornflour:soy flour ? almond flour/ soy flour? i have low carb rice (ponnie herbal rice) , i could ground it?

I'll start the new thread.. Just got back from church, etc..DH is away, so it's Alex and me..

I'm claiming my 151 because it was my pre-Neewollah (cinnamon roll weight)..Now, I need to get back there..LOL..

Best flour is almond flour..Although, Love, if you like soy, then go for it..
