No matter what plan you do, it is important not to overindulge in protein. You should get your energy from fat, not protein. So, figure out your lean body weight and multiply it by .6 to get a ballpark figure of how much protein you should have a day. Most women get between 70-90 grams.

Barry allows us to have more veggies/a tiny bit of fruit, as long as the protein is in control.

What I like about Barry's plan is that it makes me conscious of the protein amounts..
