Spending $$ is always good, lol.

Today:
coffee/1/2 & 1/2 with 1/2 scoop protein powder in the last cup. Non flavored and I was getting ready to go do my interval workout.

salad with LO steak and sf vinagrette dressing with a bit of cheese thrown in.

Water, water, water, lol.

Sandy - always!

We're having pork chops and veggies for dinner.
As long as I can get out of the kitchen, I'm fine!

Hi gang,

Zilla posted on my facebook that she is very busy..and has one big project to go, then she will be back with us with some new duckie pictures.

Sandy or Cindy: Did you try the CNP ProDessert pudding that was at the Lawrence nutrition place? I did this am. and it is very good..and creamy weamy..I found another place to get it a bit cheaper..I think it was $2.79 a package at the Lawrence place.
I got it for around $2.10 with shipping. I wonder if Netrition would carry it???

Well, time to do my 3rd session of exercising and then for a float in the pool..Today is all about "me"..LOLO..

I got some frozen pre-grilled brats in a bag..good brand..So, that's what is for dinner with zukes/peppers/onions sauteed..

I love brats!! I've never seen the pregrilled kind though. Are they Johnsonvilles?

I wish I had a Wii and a pool, just my size. Not a big one.

beats sitting at the public pool with all those kiddos..

We're pretty lucky here, our public pool has a huge area that is adults only. And admission is only $1 for us Sr. Citizens, lol.

Plus, my neighbors would prolly think I'd gone bonkers!!!

Now I really want my own pool - but I think I'll wait until all the kids are out of the house!

Carolyn - are we FB friends yet?

It's fun to connect with people you haven't seen since high school!

I use it to keep up on my niece's and nephew's lives ~ and see pics of my kids at dances etc.

It is good for trading pictures.

So do you have your FB set to private? I've heard so much about the lack of security. It kind of makes me paranoid, lol.

BTW, next week Aldi has a 12' by 30" pool on sale for $59 with filter and cover!!!

Only my friends can see my profile and I can't be googled.
So - I guess that's set to private.

Are you going to buy a pool?
You know you want to!

I found 2 old highschool friends on facebook..Art..the guy I met in Lawrence. It is kinda fun and only your friends can see your wall...

Wow..on the pool..What a bargain..However, my little pool is certainly big enough for me to float around and it can be moved, too. It's one of the folded up ones..with hardish sides and a rubber bottom..If you put it in the backyard, strategically located, no one can see you. And, your neighbors will be jealous... You can even fit 2 peeps in there.. Mine is out of the direct sun..

Morning!

Carolyn - AND you didn't have to blow it up!

What's up today?
Not much going on around here - errands and an eyebrow wax.

MaryKay: I didn't have to blow up my pool, but I had to do the lounger..Took several attempts..

I was still at 153 this morning..However, I'm going to Owasso with my WW partner, Dianne..Her birthday was yesterday. We are going to hit the Olive Garden..No breadsticks and a light lunch as it's too far to take home leftovers on a hot day.

I just did my Wii EA active this morning..That thing is great..I was sweating..which is unusual for me.

Have a great day everyone.....

Have fun Carolyn. You might need to buy a little electric pump inflator. I hate blowing up those big toys. I get dizzy. When I had a pool I used our compressor which was great! It had a blowing attachment and it would fill a raft in like 20 seconds!

I'm still up this a.m. I did have quite a few veggies yesterday instead of all protein. I'll try again today. If I could skip weekends I'd be fine but you all know me and my weekends. Yikes!!!

Morning dear friends!
Got home from Canada Sun. night but didn't get a chance to get online much yesterday.

Had a wonderful time, it is a beautiful area up there, lots of dairy farms and the people were all soooo friendly and nice. The reception in the old barn was perfect, so much fun and a great turnout, DD and DSIL were very happy.

Good to see you Gord!

Pools, I have a little one blown up in the shop waiting to go on the patio, just waiting for DH to clean up the patio for it.

DGS 9 is coming out for a couple of days, no day care or camps yet this week so he is staying with me until I leave for NE on Friday. I am about tripped out, LOL.

Got home from Canada and weight was down a couple of lbs!!! Maybe it is the Byetta side effects, I sure hope so, it is working beautifully on keeping my BS numbers down.

Enjoyed reading through all the chatting this morning, I love hanging out here with you peeps!

Oh, got my blood test back, not as good as last time when I had been eating VLC so the Dr. wants to put me on trigleride meds, I know I spelled that wrong but you know what I mean. Darn it, one more pill to add. Have been taking a Liver support herbal pill for 8 months now and liver enzymes were up so won't be wasting anymore money on that one.

Great to have you back Buffy. You were missed but sounds like you had a wonderful time, which is wonderful. I'm jealous of all your trips! We have nothing planned right now and I hate it!!!!

I went to the gym and have been cleaning my kitchen all morning. Cabinet fronts and rearranging things. I read that it's good to move things from their normal places to make your brain work hard and learn new patterns. DH will probably be very frustrated but he needs brain exercises as much as anyone, lol.

It's very dark and stormy here today and pouring down rain!!! I did take Bailey on a very short walk with an umbrella right after the gym. It was just raining lightly at the time. No way would I go out in this stuff.

Hi gals..and Gord..

Welcome back, Buffy..I hope that Byetta is working for you..That would be great.

Got some shopping done..No breadsticks at the Olive Garden..No pasta..but we did split the no sugar added dessert chocolate volcano thing. Dianne lowcarbs, too, so I'm sure we cheated right there..

Gosh, it looks like we are getting some rain tonight, too..It was 95 in OK..hot..

Hi to all our Barry peeps...

OK, my evening was not on ANYBODIES diet plan!! I organized a cooking class at a professional cooks house that conducts these classes but will do a private one for 8-10 of your closest friends. Here was the menu:
Apple cole slaw with glazed walnuts and crasins
Puff pastry with wild mushrooms and gruyere
Fresh creamed corn
Blue Cheese encrusted beef tenderloin
Chocolate Dulce de Leche bars
Wine
I must sign off now as I am too full to type! Have a good evening!

Cindy: Yummmm and how fun!!!

Honestly, I was still at 153 this morning........I'm shocked and amazed..Of course, I was totally perfect at dinner (bacon and eggs)..If I hit 152, I'll know it's the thyroid meds and the hormones...........Maybe I'm finally balanced??? LOL

Put a roast in the crockpot and cut up a rutabaga to cook with it. The lady at Wallies didn't know what a rutabaga was..I filled her in.

Have a great day..I'm heading to the pool..with my lounger/book. I made a leaf catcher out of a coathanger and pantyhose..Saved $15.

I was at WF today and they had bison brauts so I bought 2 to see how they are. The tenderloin last night was from WF. It was organic, grass fed and $25 a pound! Yikes! I've got to get over sticker shock.

Sandy, this lady is at 88th and Roe. If you give me your e-mail info, I'll forward her stuff to you but it is not LC!

Cindy,

Amazing menu

We don't have bison steaks over here. What are they like?

I am hungry this evening despite what I thought was a carefully balanced day. I went over on carbs (72g) without meaning too ..blueberries and a small number of oats in a porridge were the tippers. My cals were ok at 1550 but not the carbs and I could so easilly have maintained the correct proportions. I will stock up on cheese, eggs again for after supper nibbles. I think I need to be more generous again with butter etc ..because I want quick results I may push the plan in the wrong direction...

I think I am still losing weight that said and will go now to my room to try on the dress again!! Ha.

Kathryn

... the side zip still won't do up across the side of my ribcage ...I do hope that weight loss will get it done up ..I am quite well built ...hmmm

I am currently 160 pounds and a size 10 (US) 14 (UK) hovering on the edge of a generous size 12 (UK) which i think is a size 8. I have until June 27th!! ....

Perhaps I should in all seriousness now simply have eggs, meat, and green stuff apart from my birthday ..a dinner and two lunches. The next few weeks are about results with a capital R. LOL

xx

Carolyn, I have to chuckle. My mental picture of you with your hose/hanger skimmer, your book, your lounger and your pool just tickles me. I do believe I'm just a bit jealous!! I can tell you're really going to enjoy it a lot.
