Hi Susan..

Many of us have discovered that portion control is the key.. Unfortunately...and just like Atkins, we have to find our magic carb number..(and it could be lower than 50 or 40) and keeping the calories in line make a difference, too..You are about my size and I cannot eat alot of food and lose.. But, that's me..

Have been on this diet for 1.5 weeks and have put all my food intake into fitday to make sure i am doing it right. The pie chart shows i am dead on with the percentages
I am not in ketosis and I have not lost an ounce yet
Anyone else have this problem?
I am having no problem sticking to the diet...in fact i am not hungry at all
typical day is so far
2 egg ommelette with veg bacon slices fried in butter
rasberries and greek yogurt
full fat milk in tea
courgettes fried in butter with cheese on top
brazil nuts and small amount of cheese
I am so full up on this
Can someone give me any advice as to what I am doing wrong?
I have come out as 70%fat 20% carb 10% protein on fitday

Peti: How many calories are you taking in?

Yikes..I just checked, you are not taking in enough protein. You need about 20-25 percent protein.

To find out how much protein, you need to take your lean body weight and multiply by .6..
It should be 55 grams to 90 grams..ballpark for women.
