All I can think of is June Bugs , which has nothing to do with Barry's plan of course.

MK, your trip sounds like fun, great get away.

Birthday party was fun. DD did not take my advice, she wanted everything perfect so ended up making and decorating another cake and was just pooped by evening but she stated that birthday #1 was a wonderful, fun time for the baby and she and daddy. I had not seen him since our trip to Domican and when he saw me come in the door he got all excited and grinned at me, oh, my, I do love that baby!

Eating is back under control, the new drugs are keeping BS in a great range so far except first reading this morning was too high but I think I know why, my snack last night was probably too high in carbs. Will make sure it is more protein based tonight.

Now, busy week coming up. I leave for Canada on Thurs. and have a lot to get done before I leave. Hair and nails/pedicure this week so that I look somewhat presentable. Office work is spilling off my desk, which tells me I am dreadfully behind on that, I have got to get through all those papers and handle things that must be done before I leave. Anymore, I would rather just play but we still have some business coming in so I must work part time!

percentages over the weekend

I am also pleased that I'm getting a higher proportion of greens etc in the mix ..it was all a little too animal based initially.

Just need to moniter stamina and mood.

Kapri: They look good to me, too. I find that veggies fill me up and enable me to eat less meat.

My neighbor's auction is in full swing. Went over there for an hour to visit with her..I think packrats go to auctions. Then there are those who are looking for one specific thing and have to wait all day long for it to come up to bid. Not me..

re less meat and more veggies

Yes Carolyn, that's the way I want to go ..it was feeling 'intuitively' not that healthy (i know that is subjective) but the last two days my diet has been much more varied and I also bought some Greek Yoghurt rather than having heavy cream for pudding, I have added small amounts of hemp seed to the yoghurt, and made fibre pancakes with psyllium husk (old Atkins recipe), added blueberries and a small amount of strawberries, reduced cheese etc etc, had raw spinach with salmon and vegetable stir fries in coconut oil.

It's all looking more varied and I hope that I'll notice a change in stamina.

I am so grateful for Fitday too. It really helps someone like me. While focusing on getting the right proportions of fat/carb/protein I am noticing that my over all calorie intake is between 15 and 18 hundred a day. I'd like to see how that works out in the long term.

Cindy, I'm glad you found out DHOR27's problem is treatable. Hopefully she'll recover quickly. It was great meeting you and yes, it's nice to put a face with a name.

MK, we could always ask for a booster seat for ya, lol. We were at a restaurant, lol.
