Is it called Miracle Method? I went to a hotel today to look at an example of their work but it was only countertops. It's the most cost effective but I really prefer the granite look better. I am going to let them come give me their spiel though just in case.

Yup..and there is one guy in KCity who does it...I hope Beth and Shawn get their tub done, too.
here's a little feminine humor: Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had given their new wives duties. The first man had married a woman from Connecticut , and bragged that he had told his wife she was going to do all the dishes and house cleaning that needed done at their house. He said that it took a couple days but on the third day he came home to a clean house and the dishes were all washed and put away. The second man had married a woman from Minnesota. He bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. He told them that the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, his house was clean, the dishes were done, and he had a huge dinner on the table.. The third man had married an Iowa girl. He boasted that he told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal.. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything, but by the third day most of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye. Enough to fix himself a bite to eat, load the dishwasher, and telephone a landscaper.

Good one Carolyn!!
So how do you think their countertop method would look? I wish I could see more examples, ya know? We used Re-Bath once for an older bathroom for a tub/shower combo. It was great! But now it's very expensive. I don't know why they got so high. |

Carolyn -
That's great!!!Sandy - my breasts are tender - but I'd mentioned they were a little itchy around the nipples. He couldn't find anything wrong with my breasts so he treated the itching! ![]() |

I talked to Mike and he said it was around $35 a foot to do the countertops..They don't have granite, but they do have flecks to put in the countertop that sort of looks like granite. He said that granite has swirls in it that is hard to duplicate. It was wierd because 2 of the townsfolk called today to ask about my tub re-dos..So, Mike visited one gal at lunch and he is visiting one on the way back to Topeka. I should get a commission, right? That's the funny thing about small towns..everybody knows who is doing their bathrooms over..Word travels fast..LOLOL.
We are going out to dinner tonight..new place in Fredonia that has "garlic salad". |

Carolyn, I have the tube in front of me so here it is:
Estradiol:2.5 mg Progesterone:200mg Testosterone:4mg Pregnisilone (SP?):25mg (this is a booster of progesterone) 1ml every night. Mary Kay, yes, I hiked Vail last year and though I was going to blow out a lung! It takes a couple of days to adjust. We are also going white water rafting like we did last year. Was the Lotrisone supposed to be in lue of your other hormones and are you spelling it correctly? Cause it ain't no hormone! |

MK, next time you see the doc, please ask exactly what his idea of 'rough' sex is? i'd love to know what's considered normal, hmmmmm
cindy, i've been thinking about that heating cholesterol thing and the only thing i can say is that the discovery of fire doesn't seem to be what's caused our health problems. it is amazing how much overthinking we can do...pretty soon we'd be breatharians and we know the air we breathe is not healthy, so..... |

Oh MK, you are cracking me up!!! I too wish you would've come back with a witty comeback in front of the student, lololol. And like Jem said, it would be interesting to see exactly what the Dr. considers "rough".
I take pregnelone every day but it's not part of my hormone scrip. You can buy it OTC. Carolyn, I really like the Granite Transformations best of all. I hope that's the way we end up going but who knows??? |

Hi..
Cindy: I have 1 mg of est, 200 mg pro, and 2 mg test..So, I'm starting out lower than you, so that is a good thing for me. Dinner was very nommie..We brought home half of the meat for dinner tomorrow night.. I zinged Zilla on her facebook..and told her to come our way..we miss her.. Hi Jem.. I'll look up the granite transformations, Sandy. LOL..Mary Kay..what did that 2nd year med student look like? After the dr. asked you that question, you should have grabbed the med student and gave him a big smoochy long kiss..And said, "You mean like this?" (Only if he was cute, of course). |

Carolyn, I noticed your doses of hormones are divided during the day. Suzanne Summers, who wrote a book on bhrt, said that that is the preferred way as that is how you body produces them. I only take one dose at night but thought I may ask the pharmacist if I can at least do 1/2 and 1/2.
Nice, spring rain today and sunny and 70's next week so I'm not complaining. Planted 12 basil plants in large pots on the back porch so this light rain is great. Basil freezes so well and I ran out in January so I planted a lot more this year. Need to get some rosemary and oregano also. Let's see, hormones, gardening, itchy breasts! WHERE IS GORD??!! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() OMG, I go shopping and out to eat with my friend and come back to you girls talking smack! Whoooooo Hoooooo I emailed my daughter to see if she remembers who did her countertops but that was 2 houses and a marriage ago, she might not remember ![]() When we remodeled about 15 years ago, our house was build in 1975 I think, we ended up putting laminate countertops back in. They do have a texture to them, which I like much better than the smooth formica but I talked DH out of granite b/c of the prices of the houses in our neighborhood. For our house, I thought it was too much of an upgrade, since we didn't replace our cabinets. On the cabinets, we didn't replace b/c they were really in good shape, just a little dated, and they match the woodwork in the entire house, so that begins a process of where to start and where to stop, kwim. And, I am old enough to remember when you just lived in a house and kept it clean, repainted and repapered but I don't recall anyone ever tearing out kitchens just to update them, etc. LOL. When I lived in the midwest, we farmed and you just lived in whatever house happened to be sitting on the land you bought or rented, you did it for the farmland, not for the house. Times sure have changed. Well, enough babbling, off to read the daily paper. Eating is better for 2 days now. Yay! ![]()

I am making some Dannon Yocheese. I have made a cheesecake with it but never really made it to eat. According to others on this site, here are the stats for 1/2 cup full fat Yocheese:
Calories: 120 Fat: 8 Carbs: 5 (no fiber) Protein: 7 I am going to have this with a couple of tablespoons of cream, 1/2 cup raspberries and some raspberry Davinci's. I've only had it draining 1 hour. I think it needs at least 8 and possibly 24. I used to do 24 hours when doing a cheesecake but I don't know if it needs that much. Bought some frozen peaches for protein shakes today also. I can only have 5 net carbs of frit for my shakes so that is about 75 grams. I haven't weighed it out but I bet that's not much. |

Hi gals and Gordo,
Cindy: Mr. dr. told me to take 1/4 of a square in the a.m., 1/4 in the pm and 1/2 at night. I don't think I'll do the night one as it lasts in my mouth too long. I will do the 1/4 and 1/4, then go up to 1/2 and 1/2.. Buffy: I know what you mean about "houses" and replacing things..My how times have changed, huh? I remember my minlaw saying that "indoor plumbing" was a godsend..LOLO. I got some great strawberries today and made a fresh strawberry pie. Crust was flaxseed meal, butter, coconut flour, lard, LC bake mix..and a little water. I ballparked everything, cut in the butter/lard, added some water and just dumped it in the pie pan and patted it out..Baked it for 15 minutes..Added big pieces of strawberries to fill the cooled shell, then poured over a mixuare of 1/2 package of strawberry koolaid mixed with one thing of gelatin, splenda to taste, 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of boiling water.. I love yocheese, Cindy. I finally rented Slumdog for tonight's big "date".. |

Oh, Carolyn, that pie sounds good! I have been meaning to rent Slumdog. We rented "Doubt" with Philip Seymore Hoffman and Meryl Streep (sp). It was very good. I love Philp Seymore Hoffman! We get Netflix and I am watching all 6 years of "Six Feet Under".
Carolyn, you take your meds by mouth! I rub my in on my forearms. Last night was my first night for the combo but I slept a solid 8 hours (I still took the 9mg of Melatonin). Sleep, to me, is absolutely critical to maintaining weight. I know there are so many times I have eaten, not because I'm hungry but because I'm exhausted. |

I just bought a buffalo roast and will bake it tomorrow night but my favorite will be shredded buffalo enchiladas for Monday. I use a jack blend cheese on my BFs but I use habenero jack cheese on mine. Can't wait! I love shredded enchiladas.
The Yocheese with raspberries was fabulous also. Must buy more Dannon yogurt. Do any of you use a different brand for Yocheese? I like the Greek yogurt also but you can ALWAYS find Dannon. |

I loved 6 feet under and Slumdog, want to see Doubt. It is very hard to type with a cat sitting in your lap..... |

That pie does sound good. And so does the Yocheese. I always use Dannon to make mine but haven't made it in quite a while.
We went to the local Italian rest. for dinner. I didn't do very well either, Buffy. I loved 6 ft. under too. And Slumdog. And Doubt was pretty good too, but not as good as I thought it would be. We watched Fireproof tonight. It was very good too. I think it would be a great wedding/anniversary gift for couples. |

Good morning...We went to B'ville last night..I had crab legs..nommie..
We are so impressed with Lowe's "return policy"..You don't even need your receipt if you have paid with a credit card..They just swipe the card and give you credit. We had a mirror that we didn't need but got it at another store..Then took it back there (even though they didn't carry that mirror). But we had to know the date that we bought it..Good thing for credit card statements..cuz we couldn't member... Yikes...I am still at 154 and not a happy camper at all..................I guess I will have to be "perfect" to lose this weight..(grumble, grumble). Have a great day everyone.. |

Morning. Cat on lap again, his new favorite place to sit and purr while I am at the computer. Really helps my productivity, NOT!
Oh, he jumped off. Now, 2 weeks before we leave for The Domincan for our DD#3's beach wedding. I kept telling myself I would do good LC for 2 weeks before the trip so here it is. Tom Thumb has Angus roast on sale and Albertson's has Angus steak on sale so time to load up and get cracking. Hope I can do this, the dress I am going to wear does not hanker to the extra weight I have on me when I don't strictly LC. Grocery shopping later today. Have a great Sunday all...... |

![]() Busy day yesterday! Let's see - not a very snappy comeback to the doc - and the med student was cute under that embarrassed face! If I would have grabbed him in my semi-undressed state (50-year-old boobs just sitting there looking at you) I'm sure he would have fainted dead away!! Carolyn - are you on Facebook? Sandy - I think I've gained 3 pounds in as many days. time to get serious again. I'm so glad we only weigh once a month! Cindy - I always used Dannon until I found Fage - now I'm spoiled! And yes, I spelled the meds right. I think he was just treating the itchiness! Anyway, they're feeling better and I haven't done anything with my patch. I'm happy just the way it is TYVM! Buffy - you keep typing about your cat on your lap, and when you siad she hopped off, so did mine! ![]()
