My menu yesterday:

B-smoothie made from 3 raw eggs, 1 double expresso, Splenda and cream
L-Salad greens, ceasar dressing, fried ground beef
D-almond and parmesan pancake, 4 strips bacon, bacon gravy (made by whisking 1 egg and 1/3 C cream into the hot bacon fat until smooth and rich), raspberries and cream
S-none

Today:

B-smoothie made the same way as yesterday
L-4 oz cheddar nuked into chips, cheese based dip, 3 eggs scrambled with cream and butter
D-LO roast beef more than likely but possible eggs instead as the roast looked a little dry... raspberries with cream either as dessert or later as a snack

Yumm yumm

Thank you Lise.

Maybe Fats are metabolised differently and need more water.

How many ounces of protein does an ex.large egg count?

I figured out from somebody's calculation yesterday that I should only be having 3 ounces of protein a day.
Yikes! I eat that at dinner time, I will try to cut back a bit as I get into this WOE.

You had ham and sausage today - probably the salty food is making you thirstier.

I'm always thirsty when I cut my carbs back. It's a good sign for me. It lets me know it's working. Lol.

Su, do you have the book? I answered one of your posts on another thread. The grams of protein aren't counted as weight. Different meats have different amounts of protein and fat grams in them. I hope that helps. ****** is great for that and it's free if you'd like to use it.

I eat a lot of food. I just like to keep it simple most of the time. And sometimes I just don't write the whole description, just the basic ingredient, lol.

Thanks Sandy I just went to ****** and input my dinner.

The ratios are:
Fat (46%) Carbs (9%)
Protein (45%)

I will improve as I continue reading more.

Thank you so much again.

Saturday:

Breakie: 2 eggs cooked in coconut oil, coffee with cream
Lunch: one fish fillet/one burger on top of a side salad,
Snack: SF mocha
Dinner: 2 salmon cakes out of a small pouch of salmon and cream sauce made with 1 Tbs. or so of cream cheese, melted into some half and half. It was all very nommie.
I shared some of the salmon with Alex.

Salmon patties were: one egg, 1/3 cup of shredded cheese, grated onion, and a small pouch of salmon. Get your coconut oil hottish, then plop 2 patties in the pan, spreading them out and flipping when the bottom is done.

Those Salmon patties sound heavenly. Thanks Carolyn. I love anything with cheese and onion.
Need to pick up some salmon for tomorrow.

Did a 1 hour brisk march around my neighbourhood. A really good arm pumping march to good old rock n roll. LOL!

Gotta get some stuff ready, have work tomorrow early.

Have a great evening all.

Here to add 1 large pork sausage as I was hungry again after dinner.
I don't think I have blown my ratios with this. It is mostly fat very little protein. The fat is probably the Long TGs and not medium though.

Carolyn, I hope it is a metabolic rate increase that's making me hungry. Yeah! Need to burn some of this body fat % off!

Just did my arm weights routine x 2 sets of each, so definitely feel the extra energy from the CO and the clear and calm mind.
Feeling wonderful benefits right now!
I am even feeling some sinus clearing going on.

Happy with the results so far.
