Morning!
OK - let's March into March!

I thought about it being March this morning!
Luckily I had a good weight yesterday morning!

I weighed 123.4 on Feb 1 and 122.4 on Feb 28.
Basically I go up and down from 125 to 120 depending on the day.
I'm being OP though with my 40 day plan still intact.

****** is helping, though I hate tracking my food!

And the Cascone's we go to is in OP too. Where is a Thai buffet in OP? I just had Thai food for the first time about 2 months ago and I'd like to try it again. Are you still in KC? Did you bring this snow with you, LOL?

Now my KC born husband says the REAL Cascone's is north of the river on North Oak. The others are just imitations!

Morning everyone, I just can't believe it is already March 1st. Blurrrrrrr

Ok, here are my stats:

June 1 235
Aug. 1 226.6
Sept. 1 223.4
Oct. 1 220.6
Nov. 1 213.4
Dec. 1 209
Jan. 1 213
Feb. 1 215
Mar. 1 212

Hmmm, guess that is progress . I am irritated at myself but I don't know why, after 63 years, I should know myself well enough to know that I slip up and fall off, get back on, repeat, do over, repeat, but I would sure have loved to be able to post that 207 I saw before I let the PMS take ahold of me. And I let it, no doubt about it, I could have fought harder to control it. The thought of the pleasure I would get out of eating off plan outweighed the thoughts of sticking to the plan and hanging on to the loss. But, here I am, another 1st day of a month and I plan to do better this month. I am back on the VLC wagon in the morning and PMS is over, so hopefully I can get a good loss going before it rears it's ugly head again.

Off today with a group of ladies to go to the casino, yay! I love to play the slots, worst odds in the house though! I will probably have a couple of glasses of wine on the way home, we are taking a motorhome, but the eating will be light today, which is good.

Buffy - if you look at you in the last 6 months - you've done amazing!
Since last June - wow!
So I guess looking at the big picture is better!

I need to get to 120 and stay there for . . . 6 months.
THEN I'd feel like I was making progress!

Well, tell him they're all the same family and the same food, I hear. I just have never actually eaten at the one up North so that's why I suggested the OP location. I think Beth lives about 1/2 way between the 2 so I'm sure either one would be fine. And to be completely accurate, Garozzo's originally came from The Hill in St. Louis. I guess they've immigrated to KC now, although they may still be in St. Louis too. IDK. All I know is I love just about ALL Italian food. And Mexican. And well, just ALL food really.

Weigh in:
144.5 Mar. 1
148 Jan. 31

So 3.5 lost for the month. That's a switch for me, but I'll take it.

Hi gals and Gord..

Barb and I are back in Indy. I gave my neighbor the wrong key to our house and she couldn't get in to feed Alex his fresh soft food...However, I left him a self-feeder of crunchies, so he didn't die..Duh..

Wow..to our losers, Buffy, Sandy and Mary Kay..Lise: Don't sweat it..

I'm sure Gord lost some weight and probably our other peeps..How about you, Zilla?

Thanks for the Italian food update..I will pass it on to Beth..Although, she had the flu this morning, so we left around 10..Poor kid..I told her to stay home tomorrow..She did make us an amazing onion soup last night. She is doing WWers on-line.

We ate at Jack Stax in Martin City on Friday night.........very nommie. The Thai restaurant is near Whole Foods in OP...It had burned down a few years back. They do a nice buffet at luncheon.

Enough about food.............eekkk...Back to normal today..I'm afraid to weigh-in.

Wow Gord, you are doing great.

I am not unhappy with my progress, I do feel I am making progress, I just get mad at myself for slipping up at times, but hey, I never thought I was perfect. I do feel good about things.

Sandy: I really don't think it is a regular ending..I think it is pretty messy with lots of editing..However, I doubt if there will be a wedding down the road anyway..

Gosh, it is going to warm up to 70 by Wednesday..No wonder peeps get sick......

Me too, I'm afraid. We'll just say I had a really good time this weekend. Fri morning when I woke up 146, this morning 151!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A month's hard work wiped out in three days - and I only ate "normal" for 3 meals. We do pay for our transgressions..... Hopefully, most of it is water.

VLC for me today......

I bounced up 1/2 pound this a.m. from my weekend choices. I decided to have a few more carbs than usual and was well aware of what might happen. 1/2 pound's not too bad. I'll do VLC again this week to undo it and hopefully drop a bit more. Then I'll be back to more of an EFGT mode.

Carolyn, I wish you lived closer! We'd have a Bachelor Party, lolol.

Morning!
Spin class this morning.
I weighed before I went and had gained .4.
Maybe I lost it all at class?! *fingers crossed*

to all our losers!!!

I don't follow The Bachelor, but didn't he say he was dating someone the whole time?

Sandy - I think DH meant the Cascone's north is the original one and the rest are later additions - I think he knows it's all the same family.

I love The Hill - I'd eat at any restaurant there - they're all unique.

I found this on Garozzo's:

Michael Garozzo, owner and operator of Garozzo’s, with locations in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Overland Park, Kansas and Olathe, Kansas, began his restaurant career as a busboy. Michael was born and raised on the “Hill” in St. Louis by his parents Salvatore and Margaret Garozzo along with 3 sisters and one brother. His father, Salvatore and his uncle Alfio, both waiters in fine restaurants all their lives, always encouraged Michael and his love for the restaurant business.

After looking at the menu - we all need a field trip!

No loss here. Still carrying around that extra 5 lbs from over the holiday. Nothing like increasing your exercise and getting no weight loss....but that is par for the course for me!

Morning dear friends!!!
I get my trash fix from Real Housewife shows these days, but don't watch Batchelor. Now, this is not Desparate housewifes, but Read Housewifes, I am hooked, LOL. I don't know if I could process that show and a trashy batchelor show too, haha.
Zilla and MK, remember, exercise often results in a small gain, but not in inches. You are doing the right thing.
I am getting back on the VLC this week again, I liked the results I got and how I felt.
I pass through KC at times, going back to see family in IA, if the timing was right on the Italian meal, I could make it. Wouldn't that be fun, fun, fun!!!
I had a really fun weekend, DGS 9 here, then the triplets birthday party and then a casino trip with friends in a motorhome yesterday. I am pooped but it was all great. Slept in this morning and have to pick up DGS from school today and tomorrow at 3:00, so my time in the office will be short. His stepdad is out of town, and he usually picks him up from school.

That would be fun! If we could catch Buffy going through and catch Carolyn when she visits Beth and, catch MK when she visits family and anybody else who wants to join us we could do it! We could even do a whole Italian day! Lol. JK. But Cascone's does have a small cafe at the city market that does serve breakfast too! It is doable!!

Yup...count me in when Buffy makes a "pass through".. We would have a great time.

Beth and Shawn have been to both of those restaurants..and like them both. No big surprise there, huh?

Well, I was up .5 this morning........No big surprise there, either..

Zilla: Yup, increasing the exercise and not losing is about par for the course for me. I think we really have to exercise 5 hours a day to have it make a difference...Exercise is good for the heart/muscles/toning..but not really for weight loss in my case at least.

Gary is in Brussels, Belgium. He rented a bigish car and can't fit it down the skinny streets..LOLO..

Buffy: Wow..those triplets must keep their mom hopping, huh? Glad you had fun.

LE: It's probably water..just keep drinking the old water.

Well, the Bachelor "changed his mind" and dumps his fiance on tv tonight after the Finale. Then he takes up with No. 2 tomorrow night. Many peeps are mad that he
dumps his choice on tv..not a good thing.

Exactly. Lots of reasons to exercise (mainly to get some fresh air and get away from the computer for a change) but exercise isn't one of them

We will be coming through the KC area around the 4th of July and also towards the end of July, both times going back to sw Iowa for class reunions. It would be fun if we could make either of those times work out.
Tired still today but hoping I will feel better tomorrow. I tend to overdo it sometimes and don't realize it, then I pay for it. Today I was just plain worn out.
