Interesting. I was going to have ham salad for lunch. Maybe I'll make it salmon salad.
I wonder what oils would have a better balance of Omega 3? Nut oils? |

One problem with fish and sea food is the mercury contamination. I usually love sea food but only eat it occasionally because of that.
Actually it is our own fault that Beef and Chicken does not have the necessary Omega 3's. If we allowed our animals (ruminants specifically) to graze and be free roaming we would get the necessary Omega 3's from their meat and dairy. |

Flaxseeds (oil and ground) is a fantastic source of Omega 3. The next best nut for Omega 3, i think is walnuts. It seems alot of you do have flaxseeds so that is great! I just bought some ground flaxseeds and have been having that!
Free range eggs are also high in Omega 3s because, unlike most of our livestock, they are free to roam and eat greens. Also, the doco said that green leafy veggies are also high in Omega 3, and we all get plenty of that in our daily salads!!! ![]() |

Hello, Ladies!!! This plan seems very easy to follow, and I'd love to join, if it's not too late
I've noticed that some of you are already at goal weight, others almost there and some others are on the same boat as I am ... I know, I still have a long way to go ... but I'm sure, I'll get there too ... How often do you guys weigh in and when do you report to each other your progress? Is there any rules or guides to follow in this thread? Looking forward to hearing from some of you. Angie |
