Flax the miracle treatment for high blood sugar.

My father takes 3 , sometimes 4 Tbs a day. Before each meal he takes one Tbs and it has dropped his sugars from 180s to 118, 112- without a change in his diet. It's absolutely amazing. Try it and test for yourself. Would love to read other peoples results. Btw must buy the ground flax meal that is golden. If its not golden it doesn't taste good. If your wondering how to add it to your diet, it tastes great in coffee. Also really doesn't have a strong flavor. Can sprinkle it on anything or just down it with a little water. Doesn't taste bad.

flax in coffee? yikes

I don't find it decreases my blood sugar at all. the fiber is great for preventing constipation though!

Now it didn't seem to help me but another type of fiber inulinFOS helps mine a little.
And this type of fiber may lead to a lb or 2 of weight loss. No don't even think of it as a weight loss product and expect great things from it but it can ease your hunger just a tiny bit.

Wow that's fascinating. It just seems to work for him. Will look into the insulin fos. Thanks.

Flax is a phytoestrogen that caused me to bleed uncontrollably. NOT a good plan! I'd be very concerned about possible long term use of high doses of flax.

Sorry for u

It's a shame u reacted that way but you are only one person. I give my father an amount of flax that is within a reasonable dose. Don't make it out that flax causes the same reaction u had in everyone. It is a healthy food.

I may be very sensitive to flax as I also have PCOS, but when the bleeding was so bad I started googling, and that's how I found out it could be the flax (bleeding stopped within 2days of stopping the flax). So apparently I'm not the only one.

Yes. PCOS could make you more susceptible ti bleeding. I was aware it caused bleeding problems for some. I always do research before starting something new. Glad your ok .
