For the First Time ever ...

my bg readings have been between 93.6 and 99 ... all day long!

It's taken me 10 months ... and many of you have been with me during this long and frustrating journey.

I've lost 35 pounds ... and my blood pressure is improving as well.

Now ... of course, I'm still on Metformin ... and I take BP meds ... and I am staying low carb. I don't take one day's results as being more than "a first" ... but I sure have been happy all day with those readings.

Naturally ... I now aim to get my readings to the "near normal" levels ... but that's another goal for another day. Today I'm getting a sore shoulder patting myself on the back!

Thanks guys. Now this morning my bg was 5.9 [106.2] ... but I'm still pretty pleased with myself. It's always nice to realize the next "plateau" ...

Great job Mary! I was 106 this morning too but for me that's pretty good.
