Pre-Diabetic, PCOS and Dairy
Hi all,
I am new to these boards but not new to low carb or diabetes or PCOS ... I guess I've really been around the block ![]() I am indeed scared but hopeful. My body is very resistant, but my spirit of course is restless and wants to drop like it used to 10 years ago. Another thing I must accept. PCOS is also dependent on the weight, which is a vicious cycle. Myself I find that dairy and the carbs do the most havoc on my PCOS. I suspect it also does its damage on the pre-diabetes but wanted to know if there were any other folks who also find the same things? |

I do know that a diet rich in carbs can cause problem with people with PCOS. Lowering carb intake can help reduce insulin resistance and help with diabetes and PCOS.
I haven't heard about any link in regards to dairy. |

Do you know your CCLL?

Me either, carbs seem to be the culprit. Some can go a bit higher and feel and look better but for me it was VLC to feel and look my best.

I have PCOS and have been very successful with LC. I have found that Atkins is perfect for me...Lowers my cholesterol and I lose weight pretty easily on it, with the help of Metformin (1500mg/day.) I have never noticed an issue with dairy, but it could be different for other people.
