Hi, I'm new to the forum
Hello everyone! I'm gloria and new to the low carb way of life. I heard about Dr. B back in July and have been working to follow this new way of eating to combat my diabetes. I was dx with type two three years ago but was told by my dr that my numbers were not that bad so I never did much about it. then my morning numbers began creeping up and I knew I had to take charge. Dr. B made sense and when I stick to it my numbers look good. I have lost almost 10% (two lbs to go) of my body weight since July and would like to lose another 10% after that. I don't seem to be able to integrate both diet and exercise... I seem to do one or the other well. I am glad to find a site where you are eating the Dr. B way!

Welcome Gloria, the 10% loss is terrific and the remaining 10 can be melted away with some due diligence on your part. The good thing is there are any members not really exercising that much yet are able to maintain excellent BS levels LCing. If you can add in some exercise it would help though in the long run to maintain/gain muscle mass and assist the weight loss situation.
Plenty of willing support here in these forums... |

Yo Hiker! This is a great forum. Everyone answers questions awfully quick and to see so many whose bs numbers are in the normal range is so encouraging. I read your story. Very inspiring!
