Latest Diabetic News
I am watching the 9/11 events today. A health headline along the bottom of the screen said that diabetics are eating too much sodium and fat.
OK...except for bacon, I definitely try to watch my sodium. In fact, I actually found low sodium bacon at Costco yesterday. The reason I have tried to watch my sodium most of the time is my Metabolic Syndrome diagnosis of 2007. But to watch fat, too? I guess if I actually measured my fat, I would lose weight faster (maybe?). But geesh -- what do they want us to eat? Fruit sandwiches? |

Just remember that low fat is still the mantra unless you are doing lowcarb. If I were to eat the way the ADA recommends, my bs would be even higher than it is. As for those fruit sandwiches, would do a real job on my bs.
Just stick with one of the lowcarb plans for controlling your bs. Sheryl |

Oh, no worries. I was just telling everyone here what went across my tv screen today. The fruit sandwiches remark was my sarcastic joke. I told them the same thing about the ADA diet. I can't eat like that...protein, fat and green vegetables for me, thank you.
